481  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Free electricity on: October 15, 2015, 01:43:21 PM
Small miners will not going to give you anything.

And big Hash miners will cost you. Still if you want to mine then go for something over 100 THS if Bitcoin or more then 100MHS if scrypt.

485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: March 19, 2014, 07:09:50 PM
I reallly liked coinex.pw...  It's a shame this happened.  At least they aren't giving you guys the runaround, takes a lot of balls to come out and be honest.

In the meantime, you guys should check out ATOMIC-TRADE

Here's a excerpt from an article about the site:

"Atomic-Trade is integrated with a high speed distributed cache and microsoft sql server enterprise which enables it to host a virtually unlimited user capacity. It also assures that users will have no interruption as changes and updates are made on a multi-tiered system. User capacity is virtually unlimited since servers can be deployed on demand within minutes. Having a multi tier redundant system also means changes and updates can be deployed with little or no user interruption. If a server goes offline more will spool up to take its place or scale back during times of low usage.

Security is tight on this exchange platform as it is hack proof. The password storage system does not store passwords, instead it utilizes a unique hash key that is generated for each user’s password.

In addition, with this extraordinary multi-tier system the actual coin wallets, database, and trade engine are only accessible by designated servers in the same private network. Only the final tier is accessible to the internet via a secure connection. A 2fa option will also be available provided by Authy ensuring users the utmost in security."

The owner also paid a web security firm to audit the site.

Here's the report:

Really sorry for your losses.  Give Atomic a chance if you are willing to trust another exchange.  They are as secure as it gets.

There are a lot of blabbers pops every second day. Anything which is not on your own PC/Server and in your home in front of you is not Safe. Coinex have done this deliberately or not we can say .. input.io name wallet also hacked and shutdown and many said they done it themself bcoz at that time BTC was around $1300 . So anything can happen.

And those who are crying should not get involved in such things which hurts them. Internet or Market all are always risky same like driving on a road, where u are right but who knows due to other's mistake u got accident. So cheer up move ahead and look forward.

487  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Stolen from Poloniex on: March 06, 2014, 03:15:57 AM
Nice trick to steal hard earned Bitcoin, First open an exchange then make a plan and take off Bitcoin bcoz no body can complain for this Virtual currency. That is why so many Exchange all of sudden started popping every second day.

I am 100% sure these stupid exchange owner are main cause for this all.

This is direct mistake of Exchange owner , why Users will suffer for his mistake ?

Anything came after cex.io same like cex.io in pattern, are due to popularity gain by cex.io. Means they are jealous with cex.io popularity and may be can't afford the load which cex.io can bear as they designed it first and remain first in all things.

If anyone stand in front of cex.io in same format , i prefer cex.io as they are original idea not just clone due to popularity.
491  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Antminer U1 USB + raspberry PI + minepeon setup on: January 18, 2014, 10:53:29 AM
It depends how the pool calculates your rate. I think on here it gives the full speed possible, if you subtract your hardware rejects and difficulty accepted rejects your speed is lower. Anything under 5% really isn't that bad especially if you're overclocking it. Try lowering or increasing the difficulty of your worker if you think it can go higher. If you're mining bitcoin with these anymore I'd expect a lot more DREJ coming. It's easier to setup on an altcoin then point it at bitcoin and hope for the best.

I am actually new for this all , so not able to catch many things in your text.

I have installed minepeon and done the rest instruction provided in this thread. Then i inserted my 2 AntMiners from external USB hub provided 2 Amp current from Outside on 5 V. And set my pool of coinex.pw which is of JouleCoin.

I saw so many Discard. What actually those Discard stands for ? and as u said " Anything under 5% " how do i calculate that percentage ? And how to to make it normal and profitable ?
492  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Antminer U1 USB + raspberry PI + minepeon setup on: January 16, 2014, 07:35:26 PM
My Stats using Two AntMiner usb with Raspberry Pi

Why i am getting too many Discard ? Any problem ? and Pool is showing less Ghash but Raspberry is showing more.
493  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ANTMINER on: January 10, 2014, 09:04:15 PM
If u have one stick then follow what i am telling you here.

1. First install http://www.silabs.com/products/mcu/Pages/USBtoUARTBridgeVCPDrivers.aspx

2. Plugin your USB ant miner in USB

3. Download http://zadig.akeo.ie/ and run it

4. Open Zadig and click “Options -> List All Devices”

5. Select the CP2102 USB to UART from dropdown and Install Driver

6. Again run Zadig and select CP2102 USB to UART from dropdown and Reinstall driver.

7. Now close everything Zadig too , and Pull out your USB Antminer Stick from USB.

8. Plugin your USB again.

9. Come to CGMINER which is designed for Antminer Usb Stick : https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/ download it

10. Take out the cgminer-run-windows-20131224.zip and unzip it

11. take notepad and write this command line in it
cgminer.exe --bmsc-options 115200:20 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinex.pw:9027 -u worker.x -p x --bmsc-freq 0981

0981 will give around 2 Ghash u can set it to 0781 which is default gives u 1.6 Ghash

12. Save As notepad as somename.bat select Sav as type to " All files "

13. Run this .bat which u have made right now , i am sure it will run your Ant Miner smoothly

14. Sometimes it required a boot so u can check one boot

Some ideas i have dont know if u like

1. How is the idea if a group can club together and make a pool from single wallet and club there machine power to mine. This will become more social and will give less stress on pools. ( Friends group Solo Mining )

2. Miners can have ability to mine from wallet CPU as well as wallet detect GPU too.

498  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: USB Eruptors for Sale on: December 14, 2013, 09:51:19 PM
I am interested but the price is high and on ebay it says used too, can you charge a lit bit less.

Its not my Miners that are up for sale. I assume that my client has a fixed amount in mind which is why he requested me to quote 6K.
I am also under the assumption that he may reduce the prices next week.

Will update this thread if that does happen.

Almost 30 have been sold over the past few days, so not sure how long stocks will last.

It is too hard to get those 6000 INR in return. Recently i imported 6 Asic USB from Canada but looks like its too late for SHA256 coins and the investment will not return back.
