1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For this reason, wouldn't ETH be the future of all crypto? on: August 17, 2018, 12:27:22 PM
Maybe. Maybe once bitcoin will simply become a collector's item or something like this or completely disappear. I think that then the first contender for the championship will be the Ether. This is a really good coin, which has a practical application. Developers of the Ethereum network are real, and they can make changes, adjusting the coin under the necessity of time and society.

It is either we use all small ERC20 tokens for the future to carry out transactions or keeping a ledger or we simply use Bitcoin for all or ethereum for all with xRapid underlying the whole transaction mechanism.

3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bible downloads banned in China on: August 05, 2018, 05:52:12 PM
With all the news coming out of China, like Xi being able to rule without term limits, this is one that didn't surprised me.

Do you agree with this? Should the state regulate religion as strictly as China does? For example, they screen people before allowing them to go an the haj to Mecca.

I think it is because they are implementing new laws that are trying to help their infrastructure. I refer here to the ban on being buried. People might get the feeling to have the right to be buried due to religious effects. But I am no expert on China or anything, this is just another average citizen of the world that watches occasionally the news on TV
4  Other / Politics & Society / Who wins American Presidential Election 2020? on: August 05, 2018, 05:49:14 PM
Hello people,

I was curious who you think will win the American 2020 election. This can be anyone as some people might announce their campaign later. Please explain why you think this person would be fit for the position.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: SpaceX and the prospects of Mars colonization. on: August 05, 2018, 05:47:10 PM
Countries are too busy fighting wars, and preparing for more wars, to make the time for going to Mars. All the talk about moon and Mars shots, exists simply to distract the people from the fascist military industrial complex building up more armaments for war.

Easy solution. make the hashtag: '#MarsOverWars' viral
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Humans keep increasing what will happen? on: August 05, 2018, 05:44:25 PM
Despite the use of various contraceptives, the world population keeps ballooning. Will there come a time that all food will be extinct and we cannot feed ourselves or what is the way forward because we are tilling all the virgin lands etc .

Population hits MaxQ.. Thats all. But people are also having more time to do other things and that creates both opportunities and challenges to soceity

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading - 22 000 btc wall - close to 170 mln on: July 31, 2018, 07:48:34 PM
Bitcoin on bitfinex has currently 22 000 btc wall 20$ under. 22 000 btc to move btc 20 $ down now (0,25%). Insane in my opinion in current market situation. Thats close to 170 mln $ (perhaps put by 1 big investoror 1 fake investor).  Worth to watch in my opinion.

Main wall moved 10$ up

Edit2 :

Main wall moved another 10$ up

Is it gonna be 10$ up and up till filling those 11-22 k btc?

It is all about time. Slowly it will be eaten up

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Electric Cars - The future ? on: July 31, 2018, 07:29:16 PM
Alot of the major car manufacturers are turning their sights on electric and hybrid cars and it seems it's only a matter of time before petrol and diesel cars are gone the way of the dodo. Tesla unveiled an impressive truck for transporting goods. Alot of governments and car manufacturers seem to be getting on board with going green for all the obvious reasons but how soon do you predict before electric is the norm in transportation ?

Do you own an electric car or are considering buying one  ? What are your reasons for buying it ?

Electric cars are sustainable vehicles. But people spend big amount energy for producing them. In the future they can produce electric cars with minimum energy. If that happens and I have enough bitcoin I will prefer to buy one instead of lambo. Smiley

It will eventually pay-off, just like solar panels. It is some quick math, but everyone can do it. It is a long term investment. Problem is: people are greedy and want short term results...
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop !! is it worth it ! on: July 31, 2018, 07:27:29 PM
I think it is worthless, a waste of time. Most of the time you only get 1-5$...

I think it is better to just trade, you can make a lot more money
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The coins we despise on: July 30, 2018, 05:39:06 PM
I disagree with only 1 of the statements you made. I think we need $XRP, but that is just my opinion of course Smiley
18  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Are we doing enough to save the planet? on: July 30, 2018, 05:19:22 PM
The planet doesn't need saving.  It's a rock that's been here long before plastic and will be here long after all the plastic is degraded into dust.  And through out the earth's entire existence the climate has been changing.  Stop the HUMAN ego trip.  You aren't that important, on a geological scale of time.

I happen to disagree with this. But I think many people like to blame people that aren't harming the world because they know themselves are the ones responsible... I think we can treat the world better, but there needs to be some coherent strategy that everyone agrees on.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 30, 2018, 05:16:06 PM
Personally, I do feel it is theft, I never consented to any taxation. I feel that this video helps explain the video quite well

Let me put things into a simple POV: Do you enjoy driving on the road? If you are in America you are likely to say no because the roads are quite bad, but if you are European you wouldn't be negative about the roads. (this is at least in most instances)

If it wasn't because of Tax, you would enjoy driving much much MUCH less, because you would be driving in the middle of nowhere, on a dirt road. Don't forget the government pays for the infrastructure that we all use every day. Now... Do we pay more than needed? That is a whole complete other question. But to answer your question, I think it is not theft.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook shares price fell -24% on: July 30, 2018, 05:12:57 PM
I tweeted about this not so long ago and have been tweeting that Facebook might see a big hit in the next months (which happened -20 -30 %)

What I tweeted about is the following. Facebook is easily replaced, remember MySpace? It was easily replaced and Facebook is not different in any way that it will remain the one and the only platform alike.

Now, what is not replaceable (here I am talking relatively, where technology is updated quickly - Example above -). In my opinion, Foods are not replaced so easily. Think about Coca Cola, have been in business MANY years, didn't change too much about their product.

Also, ask people in elementary schools if they want to create a Facebook account... You will be shocked
