Mph your exchange is not exchanging dgb to btc. It's been frozen for 24 hours with nothing being credited. Please look into it.

Please MPH it's been ages of the same coins,  please allow us to mine on your pool and utilize our hash better to make more for all. You are #1 when it comes to Baikal's hopefully you will let us mine nist5 (bullwark) and quark (alqo) in the algo switching.  Thanks for your consideration.

i have compared zpool and starpool, mined 10 hours with same power.
At the end of experiment: zpool payed me 10 coins more!!! (ALGO: X11, Coin: Monoeci)
Any explanation from pool owner about this difference?

Zpool just had better luck that day. The luck factor is huge and any pool can have a good or bad day. They don't synchronize across pools. Usually if one does really well the others do less well if they share similar coins.

So far I see, it has again started mining mostly less worth coins and I can personally feel the profit going down in past few hours since coins are re-enabled. Those who are claiming they getting higher profits by mining those coins, can show their stats so that we can be convinced if it's fine or not.

You are wrong just stop complaining all and enjoy the perfect pool. The coins have been re-enabled for a few hours and already 600 qtc found, free $$$$. Also you have to factor in luck. Let YIMMP do it's thing and profit calc for us just sit back and collect! Thanks!

Starpool. The experiment has cost us around $120 so far. We all see the decrease in profits, can we re enable the coins again and you just ignore the haters?

Self it they add this coins again it will be not better =)   Those are shitcoins and have no value!

Man you are clueless. Everyone is telling you and you STILL don't get it. You don't even acknowledge the lower profits that everyone else is reporting. Hopeless

Wow is this a new trend to start removing coins? Sadly you don't understand you are making the pool less profitable, over the short and long term. Low hash coins are still worth mining and only take no more than 5 gh max, you understand 1000 qtc is around 20 dollars, which we mined daily. This is a multi pool not mine dgb or specific coins, If I wanted to just mine coins direct i would go to mph. Thanks to your changes I got a new low payout just today.

You also forget you joined starpool because it was more profitable than your other pool and it's because it had more coins. Think about it. Removing coins is bad for the pool.

If you check it yourself, you will see, that 1000 qtc was payed out every day for hole pool.  Not only for you.   And it is nothing!
It is only wasting of power!

I am for multipool, not for single mining!   Auroracoin and DBG is at the moment a best choose for qubit algorithm.

Qubitcoin is a shit coin.   If you want to mine it, you can go to single mining pool and waste your time there!

We have now more profit without qubitcoin and all screenshots are add!

I have been mining this pool for months ... Just me at the start. Me and dev built the most profitable pool and you fools are trying to tear it down in a matter of weeks. No worries I will be moving on soon.  Good luck on your decisions. You're clearly a reactive person that doesn't put in much thought. 5 gh is half a machine which is all it took. It's been proven a x10 gens about 400 dgb a day. So with half a machines hash you are sacraficing 1000 qtc and getting 200 more dgb. Obviously it doesn't make sense to try and get 5 dollars in dgb and sacrifice 20 in qtc. I can't allow your bad decisions to affect me just because you scream like a child on a message board. I guess we will see who's right but again you joined the pool because it was the most profitable. Now you're trying to turn it into your old shit pool. Sad. I should of kept my mouth shut about the pool to begin with.

We will see.

Are you serios?  1400 qtc a day for all is a win.  For sure.   If you alone would receive so much.  OK.   But it was for all not only for one asic!

Zpool have still qubitcoin.  What is a problem?  You can still use it with this 3 coins

Looks like fuaimo3 has a point.  Profits have decreased after the coins were removed.

it's hilarious. They still don't get it. Pool is at it's lowest paying ever.

Hello.

Is it possible in the settings to disable only one coin of algorithm?

In a Quark algorithm I would disable a quarkcoin.  It takes only miner capacity and do not earn something.

Are there some commands for Baikal Giant X10 to disable this coin, but mine other coins in an algorithm?

Thanks in advance

Is it possible to disable qubitcoin in your pool or settings on baikal x10?

Sorry. Because some people propose to add QubitCoin, can't disable it temporarily.

But you want for sure to get more people on your pool?  More people you will get, if the people can earn more on your pool, as on another pools.
Check the current valve for Quarkcoin and Qubit coin.  It earns nothing!  Check it please yourself.  Thanks

Maybe if you set up the profitability of this coins lower in your settings and set it up to reallity it would be also better, when our X10´s do not switch every time to this coins.

Sheesh stop complaining. It's one of the most profitable pools currently and I like quibit for many reasons not just value. It also only takes around 5 to 10 gh when avg is 800 plus. It does add 5 to 10 dollars to my profits with almost nothing having to be invested.

I want to use this pool for my Baikal Giant X10, does anyone know the proper configuration parameters for this device? I tried instructions from previous posts but miner gets down several times and very low earnings over few hours. There is not much help documentation available on the pool website itself. Undecided

Earnings should be measured in 24 hour increments for better accuracy. Yesterday was a great day on the pool still pull over 25 per miner per day on the x10.

First field put your wallet address next in password field put c=btc,quark,qubit,myr-gr,skien=.5

Then add each algo server so it will need 4 spots. There's config info here as well to better explain.

First of all, let me thank you for reading and replying to my post. Very much grateful to you for your help.

I already configured according to that post, just used LTC as coin but my past 24 hour earnings were meager as you can see from this address - https://www.starpool.biz/?address=LiE3WVDzcWBg3T9aZpwTcX9i74V9Pp6gke

Can you please show me your Baikal X10 miner settings page screenshot so that I can check and review what I did wrong? Since configuring this pool details yesterday, my miner is unable to stay online for more than 5 mins and most of the times it's miner down. Mining pool hub and nicehash never had this issue with same miner when configured, they could simply run forever. Any way I can reset the miner to factory defaults other than reflashing via SDcard? I can do SSH access and run commands if required.

Thanks for your help once again, hope I can do the same like you on this pool soon.

Weird, non of my miners ever go down due to the pool just to getting stuck between switching. Maybe you have a dud?

Anyway under user I just have my wallet address, under pass I don't use a factor of 1 like they show configured in the post, I use the built in factors only cutting skien in half due to 5ghz rate limit.

so my pass looks like this: c=BTC,quark,qubit,myr-gr,skein=.5

Then I simply have the 4 servers added with that password entered in each for the auto algo switching. I have 100 percent up time for nearly a month. Good luck.

here are my results from mining dutch to 12 hours.

I've been using multi switch my-groestl only 0.00023948

Left the pool again. The profitability indicator at the front and rear is not correct.

The last two days has been the worst I have ever seen. I am considering switching up if it doesn't improve myself. I believe a main money maker ALQO has been hit hard recently and difficulty has sky rocketed. I also noticed just some terrible luck I found almost none of the easy blocks throughout the day, I knew of the risks of a luck based pool and it has been good up until the last few days. I believe difficulty on most the coins has risen and it may only get worse. I give it a few more days to improve, let's all hope for the new algos soon so we can spread out the miners a bit more.

Yeah I’ve noticed the same. Everything is way down the last couple days. I’ve never seen nicehash pay out only .002 btc for quark before.

On your last point, does anyone have an idea when those algo’s might be release? I was thinking maybe around the same time the next batch ships which i think was end of feb? Also makes sense with the Chinese New Year ending

After some research I can see the pool is still in line with other pools so not as disappointing day as I originally thought. I was at 20 a day and thought nicehash was still at 30. Anyway what I figured out is this is directly related to Alqo (quark), which is a major coin for Baikal miners. In the last few weeks they have reduced the block reward from 112 to 100 to the current 87.5 and doubled the difficulty. What you are seeing now is the ripple affect being felt across all pools.  It even affects DGB because more people are mining that to keep up their profits, which in turn increases the difficulty but luckily they haven't reduced the rewards yet on DGB. I incorporated skein just last night and it has helped quite a bit in the short time i've been using it. So all in all it's still in line with other pools but there's a lot of back end changes affecting everything right now so it's very uncertain what you will get as things seem to change often due to over crowding.

Hey just wanted to share my recent results from minining on Starpool off and on this weekend.  I've had it pointed to starpool for about the last ~22 hours and I've earned just about .0032 btc. At one point it was on track to earn nearly .001/hr. The pool definitely pays out in bursts and sometimes Nicehash may seem higher temporaility but I think after a week I will see this paying out more overall than nicehash but will keep you all posted.

The pool works like this. There's a bit of luck involved. You hash on a Algorithm, when it finds a block (which is based on luck) it will credit the block out based on how much hash you provided to finding it, which can be seen in your wallet dashboard. Some days it finds more blocks than others. Yesterday there was higher orphans than usual on quark, I already asked the dev about it and he's looking into it.

The advantage Starpool has is it has every coin for every algo so it will point you to the least difficult coins and should maximize your finding potential. But you have to keep in mind it only increases your chances, blocks could be found on other algos even though they're more difficult and you would miss out on getting paid because you were hashing a different algo.

So in essence Starpool you need to count on a little luck. But in the end it has been paying more than nicehash for the week I have averaged. Sometimes it pays very high and get's double blocks, other times when the difficulty is high you find fewer blocks. But all in all I have averaged near 40 per miner for the week and I will be staying on the pool as I feel like it has higher potential than nicehash. You have to also keep in mind the price of bitcoin has been increasing you get less btc on the exchange but dollar wise you end up being around the same.

Basicly nothing is guaranteed on Starpool but has higher earning potential but nicehash is a safer more steady and predictable payout.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: February 16, 2018, 01:11:50 PM
So I am reading that people are doing between 20$ and 60$ per machine per day in that starpool. So for simplicity lets say it is around average of 40$. Is there anyone who can confirm (eventually with a SS) that made two days in a row, or more, more than 50$ per machine per day?

i have provided a few ss of 50 a day. i'm now doing a weekly avg. so far i'm avg 45 a day goes as low as 35 a day as high as close to 60

Apologies if you have already provided this but can you please confirm the entry in the password box.

I use c=BTC,quark,qubit,myr-gr and only those algos

I'm not going to say anything more on the pool though as far as averages other than below, I and the others don't work for starpool, I just wanted to share my experience. I don't want people to get mad at me if they end up having a bad experience. I would never tell anyone where to hash and don't benefit in anyway from more people hashing at starpool in fact it makes the profit maybe a little less with more hashers for me. I think a lot of the people that had a bad experience don't fully understand the pool but that's my guess based on how i'm doing. I can't speak for others. Good luck to all and my attempt was to tell the community about a good paying pool but others may not experience the same. I will be keeping my small farm on here for a week but so far in 48 hours I have avg of close to 50. I started this account 12 am est on Wednesday. I also had a miner go down from time to time for more than an hour.

This shows 47 hours worth of payments (im due one in an hour)

https://imgur.com/a/3fYX6

if you take the total balance for 47 hour 0.19254745 BTC =  1897.22 \2 (2 days) = 948.61 \20 miners =  47.43

Which is above the average for this machine based on https://www.asicminervalue.com/

Feel free to check my math. This also doesn't include credits still waiting to hit the exchange that I have already mined, and i'm now done with defending the pool just wanted to share my experience. Good luck.

I was on Starpool the last 24 hours. I'm pretty happy with the outcome of 0.3 LTC. My miner had shares for all algos but X11. This is my password line:

c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5

I tried also single coin mining with nice profit on ALQO. I collected LIZ, LPA, ARGO and CURVE....lets see if I can sell them for a nice price.

All in all Starpool did a nice job for me.

Also tried starpool.biz with same options c=LTC,quark=1,qubit=1,myr-gr=1,skein=0.5 but after 24h I got only 0.1LTC (~23$)
Total Unpaid      0.01234102 LTC
Total Paid         0.08882658 LTC
Total Earned      0.10116760 LTC
So this is ever less then nicehash profit - what's wrong with my x10?))) Hashrate according to graphs was OK, switching also OK (worked at all 4 algos but mostly quark and qubit of course)

Not sure my man I just got 55 per miner yesterday. I started a fresh account to keep track. Are you counting credits not yet paid to you? You realize it has to clear the exchange before it will hit your wallet. I am even doing btc which has higher transaction fees.

Also if you are hashing low algo pools like skien they make take a little time to clear. Although some say it's worth it I would take skien out of your rotation if you want payments to be a little higher immediately long term however it may be wise to leave it in.

Yes, unfortunately 0.1LTC is total earned (paid + unpaid)

   Name      Immature      Confirmed         Total   Value*

   Total Paid      0.08882658 LTC

If you want your dailys to increase stop hashing skien. You probably have a lot of credits waiting to be mined (it should show you under wallet what percentage you have waiting on what algo). Stay on the higher hash pools to get a better 24 hour.

Unlikely that problem is in skein, it was almost 50\50 quark and qubit
Here is my wallet https://www.starpool.biz/?address=Lg9UgnzoHTTrvCHf29Z9tJJUvJwqxvPCxU
I really don't understand where is my 60$ daily  Huh Grin
Will wait 1-2 days more and get back to nicehash if nothing changes

Looking at your account you haven't even acquired 24 hours worth of payments yet I only see two which a total balance of 0.13815603 which is over 30 dollars in ltc. wait 24 hours. Also you have some credits waiting in skien. You are miss reading how this pool works and how it pays out credits. This isn't nicehash. In fact people on nicehash mine on star pool to make profit. You can see under miners that they mine there. So unlikely nicehash pays more when they use nicehash to make profit on star pool.
