81  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Someone tried to get into my blockchain. on: March 11, 2015, 05:39:10 PM

I don't know who and I don't know how but someone tried to log into my blockchain , it send me an email if I authorize it and I deleted the email and did not authorized anything but it kinda scared me , what should I do now? Is everything alright or should I do something about it?
Examples of cases that can be found, the A promised gift to the B 0008 BTC / wallet, to get the gift Person A asks private key wallet made before the month of May, and yougive the private key of your wallet to him then do not be surprised if the contents of your Bitcoin will expire or be reduced gradually as the A already has the private key of your wallet on which heimported into his wallet services so your wallet is already in the hands of A, if person A wants to take or send Bitcoin is in your wallet to wallet address other then the A can do so without the need to go into your wallet service account. Never give the private key of your wallet

Have you been trying to point this towards the CLAMS giveaway by Justdice?
It seemed doubtful to me too that why would they ask someone's private key in chat to be able to check whether the address was fund before so and so month, and will give some CLAMS at their site itself, but yes, I credit them based on them processing withdrawals of those CLAMS.

bump

Why don't you go for an auction instead?
I don't think there stands a chance to get the offers below the previous one if you set up a price and wait for some good offers, but clearly mention that you won't accept below the mentioned rate, as doing this will only have your time wasted as everyone will quote lower only.

Are we going to the moon or what Huh

Awesome, was actually waiting to see such comments.

No, we ain't going any moon, but Jupiter this time. Wink

Stop asking for moons as we must look for some floors instead of expecting high spikes.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Startup 21 raises record funding $116 mill, aims at mainstreaming BTC on: March 11, 2015, 05:21:12 PM
From what I read, I think they are more interested in the blockchain technology rather than bitcoin itself. Since they didn't reveal into detail what they are up to, I supposed it has something to do with another altcoin? No...Or I see creation of new database to support some products that is also based on public ledger, either way, still has nothing to do with bitcoin.

More likely trying to integrate the blockchain technology into existing banking/finance sector. Could save a lot of paperwork and layoff more than a dozen departments.

That's true, and because of that, a lot of corruption might get into control as if even some level of centralization takes place, as that only will get it going and anonymity might get harmed.
85  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: XBTFreelancer.com - A new Bitcoin freelancers platform on: March 11, 2015, 05:04:22 PM
DeboraMeeks, amounts are in USD for better understanding of price. I think its more appropriate to state milestone amounts in USD especially due the crpto-currency's current fluctuations. I might add XBT based milestone amount support in the future, tough, if there is demand for it.

Friend, BTC freelancer means IMHO, default should be BTC in all things. You can check signature campaigns for instance, they pay in BTC and show the amount in BTC not in USD or any ither currency.

Muhammed Zakir, YES, funds are escrowed with the site. We have no hot wallet, actually no wallet on server at all. All deposits go to a cold storage and withdrawals are manually processed once a day following manual verification of accounts involved to be on the safe side.

How many employees do you have and how many of them have access to cold storage? Don't want it to get stolen or to get stuck for long time. It should atleast be twice(recommended) or thrice a day.

Yes, that's what I wanted to say, that if they are here to pay in BTC, then why are they showing the prices in USD?
It might be good to display BTC/USD value there, but I also drew their attention towards a feature which I think will be a boost to their site, as if let's say  the value of BTC will be $1000, they will show 0.1 for a $100 budget in BTC and if price of BTC is $200, it should show 0.5 for the same, I mean such a feature with auto-refresh of value in BTC would be a lot helpful.

How can a company decide the value of one's life???
No idea. They have some sort of charts for that. So probably a computer told them that value Smiley.

Quote
It takes a lot of time to grow, and people like these just don't even think before killing anyone, they don't see that if the ones they are killing are having red blood, then their own blood is also red and God has made everyone common, so why these f*cktards discriminate, and BTW who the hell are they to do that???

I someone goes to kill shouldn't think about such stuff. That would draw attention from the main goal.
Do you think a pilot or an artillery man thinking about such things while delivering an 500 lbs piece of democracy?

"who the hell are they to do that"
They are in power and in charge. That gives them the "right" to do so. (Until someone stronger kicks their asses.)
BTW we are very much got used to the more civilised western approach about life, but many of those guys are not. If someone grown up in a society where getting killed by Saddam's or Assad's henchman or by the americans, perhaps by your own neighbours if put your dick to the wrong place was part of life then that person will have a very different opinion about the value of life.

True, everyone have their own values set and everyone sees life differently, they might have their upbringing in the way what they are showing with their deeds to the world now.

It always had been. The only reason we need to use fiat is, without them, we cannot get BTC currently as what might valuate it?

I unno....Goods and Services?

And what about the pleasures and lifestyle that people might get using just fiat unless BTC is accepted worldwide?

You seem to have a two-sided rolling tongue, as before you were barking a lot saying BTC to be worst, and now advocating regarding the same based on my question.

what a good time to be earning dollars, spending euros and holding bitcoins - which is exactly what I am doing  Cool

This year will be interesting for sure. I sense a big crash coming...but not in bitcoin Wink

Might be EUR/USD you talking about?
Have been watching the charts, but can't conclude as to why is this happening. Is it confirmed that Greece has left the Eurozone?

what's happening is that the dollar is a worthless piece of paper while the euro manages to be even more worthless. meanwhile bitcoin is gaining traction as a form of honest money. USD and EUR will both go down the drain eventually. I have been betting on EUR getting there first for years now.

It always had been. The only reason we need to use fiat is, without them, we cannot get BTC currently as what might valuate it?

its official holding USD is now safe and smart!

but, but.....what about BTC?

Bitcoin? Bitcoin is the worst investment of 2014 and 2015 Q1

Do you actually think it's worst?
Then what has made you come here and start boasting around?
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoins ever going to get rid of fiat? on: March 11, 2015, 02:21:47 PM
Bitcoin is actually independent of fiat. It doesn't need fiat to survive nor it is reliant in any way to fiat or any currency for that matter. It is us, the user, who have been all these while trying to associate fiat to bitcoin as a means to gauge the value and performance of bitcoin. And definitely we do not need in any way to take over fiat. If you get what I'm trying to say over here.

True, we want it currently as we need to have a value for it to value it. Wink
The smarter ones will get what I meant.

Don't waste your time mining unless you see some serious price hikes in Bitcoin.
Till then, you might try to buy some and trade the waves and enjoy the ride.

I think it has been said many a times in this thread, please don't mind my advice but have a check on previous posts before making a post so that it might not be considered as spam (if it contains the same information which has already been provided and nothing new). Smiley

Interesting concept and website, but the only thing I am not getting is, if we are to get paid in Bitcoins, then why the bids and ranges are shown in USD there? I think you should change it to Bitcoins, and put some code into your site which will automatically catch the current price and allocate the rate into it itself every few seconds/minutes based on what the user gives in USD while filling up the form.

@OP,
If you think that it's their limit, you are wrong.

Just check this, a 10 year old boy 'shooting Mossad spy dead':

Actually the pictures are from Turkey, the site is in Bulgarian and you can purchase everything with BTC. I even have mine offer there as me an my wife are running family business, we have hair salon for kids where we accept BTC as payment Smiley
You can like us and share us on Facebook if you think our idea is good also we are giving lot of prizes to the people who are in our FB group.
https://www.facebook.com/veselbalon

Thanks Smiley

That's great dude, as going to holidays and paying for such offers with BTC leads it towards the point that it is getting accepted slowly, but steadily everywhere. And goodluck with your deals.
98  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoins ever going to get rid of fiat? on: March 11, 2015, 01:09:14 PM
I think that unless people recognize Bitcoins over a wider pace, we need FIAT to be there in order for everyone to be able to see there's a value for it currently. Later might there be stand a chance but will still need to have value, which is why it is known as the most volatile currency.
99  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 11, 2015, 11:34:29 AM
Seems like a snowfall in the markets as they have been silent since yesterday, not much movements and the volubility of people has since been harmonizing with the value of BTC.
100  Economy / Services / Re: KaChingCoinDev Escrow Service - Free - Up to .1 BTC - Donations Appreciated on: March 10, 2015, 09:22:20 PM
Good luck with the your escrow service. I wish I could open one, but I am afraid I would get to much hate.

Thanks man. You are a Full member, so people might not like that.

On the 17th of March I become a Senior member. So I have that to look forward to.

I don't think that your Member level is important in escrow services as far as trust factor is concerned.
But yes, I can say that below Full Member accounts might not get used as escrows due to higher probability of getting scammed.
