303  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Wallet Password Recovery Without Needing Your Wallet.dat 5-10% fee. on: August 04, 2014, 06:21:44 PM
How long does it take you to crack a password? Just pondering..

It ultimately depends on the amount of information someone gives me on their password. It can take as little as a few seconds after setting it up or it could take up to a month. If you know the majority of your password then it's normally a simple fix, if you are certain you have put the right password in that normally takes a hour at the most.

Obviously, the more you don't know about your password the longer the process. If you only know 2 characters out of 10 it's impossible.

There's never a definite answer it varies.

Ok, thanks for the information and quick reply Smiley
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC.com bought by GAW Miners for 1.1 milion USD on: August 04, 2014, 06:17:49 PM

I had the pleasure of running their signature campaign and they were always on time with the payments. I also used their hosting services and can't say a bad word.

Im part of it too, great deal, thanks again for running it Smiley

Looks like they aren't wasting time. This is probably the fastest growing bitcoin hardware supplier.

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/bitcoin-domain-btc-com-sold-1-1m-1459644

This reminds me that BicoinWallet.com was sold for 2 million USD and now they advertise themselve on Google as official bitcoin wallet Cheesy

It doesnt seem to be doing too well IMO, and it was bought for 250k along with bitcoinwallets.com.

btc.com is a valuable domain!
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: August 04, 2014, 06:15:10 PM
Cold storage.

Let me expand:

Download bitaddress.org webpage

Open it offline

Generate a few addresses

Write all the information down

Send bitcoins to the wallets

When you want to use the coins just enter the private key section of the wallet into blockchain.info's wallet and send ALL the coins to a new wallet.

308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wikimedia Foundation is now accepting Bitcoin donations on: August 04, 2014, 06:11:51 PM
Im unhappy because the donation form is too intrusive Sad I have to supply personal info instead of being able to donate fast and anonymously....
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not the answer for microtransactions; how to rebroadcast unconfirmed? on: August 04, 2014, 06:10:30 PM

312  Economy / Services / Re: Offering Free Escrow on: August 04, 2014, 06:07:23 PM
Even if you are offering free service, people could get it free as well from more trusted users like juggalodarkclow (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80071.0), Maidak (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133985.0), escrow.ms (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=235452), DannyHamilton (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254369.0), etc.

Sorry no offense, but I don't see why we should use your service instead of the above 4 persons.

Often, the big people offering free escrow have so many requests its hard to get in touch with them Undecided

314  Economy / Services / Re: [DiceBitco.in] [Make the most out of your sig!] Make coins by simply posting! on: August 04, 2014, 06:03:22 PM
first post says:

You need AT LEAST 50 posts minimum to claim the reward

And

Quote
Maximum 400 posts will be counted per month, minimum 20.

Is the minimum to claim payment 20 or 50 posts?

Guess it was 20 initially and now has been edited to 50.
You should have 50 posts, just to be sure of collecting...  Wink

Im asking for others and myself: if we make less than 50 can be carry them over? I may be interested Wink

The address in the picture above is

It is not 1Lb3H...

Classic bitcoin scammers, trying to get money off people unsuspecting that its not the real address...

A bet halving button and pvp play would be nice.

I like PD but the spikes in losses, even at high % win chances, is really suspicious to me.

It is provably fair , and u can check that.
Its all about luck and house edge. Smiley

Mostly house edge, you will ALWAYS lose in the long run Smiley
