Yes, cards are bios modded. Seems to be stable setting core undervolt to 780. Hashrate actually went up a bit and dropped 15 watts (according to SMOS).

Great hash rate, what is your wall power consumption?
I mean only the increased speed of the fans, and the fans of the ACUS video cards are not of the highest quality, therefore, with this operating mode,
the fans will break after 2 years or a little earlier.
Don’t have a wattmeter on this one so not sure what the power is at the wall.

I’m mining ETH with a 6 card RX 5700 rig (non XT). Below is how I have the rig overclocked in SimpleMining (I’m using the Phoenix miner). Any thoughts on tweaks I can / should make?

Any recommendations for what coins to stake that have a decent reward with low to moderate risk?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Any news about nvidia 3060ti hash rates? on: December 23, 2020, 03:05:34 AM
Anyone have an EVGA 3060 Ti XC Gaming card? I have an opportunity to purchase a few of these at close to MSRP. I’m curious what kind of experience people have had mining ETH (or other coins) with this card.

Buy them. If you do not want them I will take at least one of them maybe 2 of them.

I would pay a small  markup and shipping .

All assuming you are usa based.
I will scoop them up. I would like to help you out Phil but I am in Canada.

Thanks for the input. I’m leaning towards the 3060 cards. I’ve got a rig with RX 580 4GB cards that I’m going to have to swap out soon. Seems like the smart decision would be replace with 3060’s. I would likely also have to upgrade PSUs as well if I went with the 3080 cards.

Assuming you can find these cards at MSRP, seven 3060 ti cards could cost approximately the same as four 3080 cards. What would you choose the 3060’s or the 3080’s and why?

Do you think one 750W PSU could power three 3060 ti cards?

Are the E3 190 MH/s miners also dead, or will be soon?
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Sudden Drop in ETH Hashrate on: December 13, 2020, 06:51:21 PM
I have been mining ETH with a 6 card (RX 580 / RX 570 4 GB) rig using Pheonix miner on SimpleMining, I have been averaging about 30 MH/s for each card. I noticed on December 11th, the rashrate dropped to about 22 MH/s so I rebooted the rig.  After the reboot, the average is only about 3 MH/s.  I have tried adjusting the overclock settings and nothing seems to work.  Any ideas what happened and how I can get back to a decent hashrate?

The best miner at the moment avoiding the ETH drop is lolMiner, other the drop down is much bigger...
You only need to add:
 --4g-alloc-size 4072 in extra parameters

Well... but if it work try 4074, 4076 and 4078... until it stops - for maxing out epoch 382+ performance, later zombie mode will start slowly...
Switched to lolminer and you are right, hashrate back to 30 MH/s. Thanks!

dag memory size, you need to update pm to 5.3b fix.
That's what I am using.

Switch to another miner  , you probably used claymores .
PhoenixMiner_5.3b is kinda easy switch Smiley but you might going to lose some hashrate

4GB still can mine ETH fine , 4GB ASICs also still hashing
Thanks! This worked!
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / My ETH Rigs Quit Last Night on: December 02, 2020, 03:15:25 PM
I’ve got two ETH rigs made up of RX580 and RX570 8GB and 4GB cards.

The error I’m getting is: “cannot write buffer for DAG”.

Does this mean the 4GB can no longer mine ETH?

Can a member with a high trust post a link to the may firmware , bitmain has taken it down.

(There should NOT be a "http://" before the link! I can't see the "http://" when editing)

FTP Server is not even up now. Anyone got a link to this on a google drive or someplace?

I hope this will do!

Just had another Z9 Mini that arrived today have a chip blow out (x000) when Oc'd to 668 seems that the late batch 2 machines dont just stop hashing when Oc'd too much they loose a chip
When you say “have a chip blow out”, do you mean the board is fried?
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 mini overclocked on: September 02, 2018, 04:46:04 AM
I don’t think it’s limited to one board. I’ve had hardware failures on two out of the three boards on my machines.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant-B on: September 01, 2018, 02:16:44 PM
It seems to be the best solution with Baikal Giant B - it seems.. more i can not say,
i was testing some configs but had some problems to make the config right for Nanopool.

Can some one tell me how to setup Nanopool with Pascal on Baikal Giant B?

So i mine Vcash at the moment.
Before i was mining LBRY.

Have a great day, cheers

Nanopool reported hash rate around 30 to 34 Ghz for giant B and the profit also low.  I was mining Lbry on Luxor and seems to be the best profit for Giant B.

Currently I mine on NiceHash for auto profit switching between Pascal and Blake256r8 because would like to reduce the consumption of electricity.  it seems NH also having same issue as Nanopool where the reported hash rate is very low on Pascal, 22 to 36 ghz.  Blake256r8 reported hash rate is stable around 160ghz.    I wonder I should just mine on Blake256r8 for better profit.

I can not get algo switching to work on NH, can you post your settings?
