Would it be possible for someone with 2116 Sig to kill the block chain when it gets to proof of stake?
This is not my area of expertise, but if my numbers are within 4-5 orders of magnitude this is a critical issue.
if interest is paid hourly, as has been stated, it must be recorded on the block chain.
Not sure interest will be paid hourly, where did you read that ? I believe I read it somewhere on here. Page 10 of the white paper actually says it is paid every 5 minutes. A 5 minute payout would be 0.0000004756 so 0.02102608 Sig per wallet, but you would only need 15,000. 15,000 * 0.02102608 + 150 = 465.3912 Main.cpp sets nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8) From what I can tell it simplifies to "nCoinAge * 13689" All the math is e-8, but if nCoinAge is the mature coins and it runs every 5 minutes then this is a 1400% return. Hopefully I am wrong. Edit: Fixed exponential. I flipped the nSubsidy calculation around and for 5% return it would be 365.24242424242424242424242424224 payments, so daily payments considering leap year. This would be the second functional error I have found in the white paper. So 43516 Sig used to create 4320000 addresses with 0.00007305 Sig each could flood the chain with interest transactions? Try to reach devs or something. I am also curious about this. I'm also interested to know more technical calculation about this piece of code, as many other coin also apply same code on it. I Actually contacted the signatumd (Main dev) and i got this awnser: You CANT flood the network, there is a minimal ammount of SIGT that the address needs to be able to stake, and the minimal ammount depends from how much SIGT's are staking on the network, i am actually trying to find the formula for minimal ammount on the code but im not a programmer so...

due my high ping all of my blocks was orphaned
So you lost against the house? I was solomining with setgeneratetrue 4, after this i managed out how to solo mining with GPU and found two blocks after block 1000 anyway my ping is about 150~200ms when i try to connect to 8.8.8.8, imagine to other nodes? Status: 38142 confirmações Data: 18/07/2017 19:22 Fonte: Gerados Crédito: 2500.00 SIGT Valor líquido: +2500.00 SIGT ID da transação: fd0150efb187b9533b2e1abf7d404fe121ffaab35bb64d61033e4d50f3504128-000
Generated coins must mature 510 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

Just wondering
Where did all the funds came from without any ICO or fundraising?
Anybody from Sigt expert/dev please answer these question we need to have enlightenment. Thanks in advance! Funds came from the first 1000 blocks which were instamined. Difficulty only kicked in at block ~1000, dev probably mined about 2.5M SIGT however it was spread across 1000 wallet addresses and has been transferred around into several wallets holding <100k each. Have a look in the block explorer at any block 1-1000 and then follow where that miner's funds went and you'll find a block where ~10 wallet addresses transfer their funds into another wallet (which can only be done using the same private key for all input addresses). Wow nice find indeed. Fair launch - no premine?Trust is lost. Devs lied. No future for this coin. The devs know they have no response for this that is why they left. Probably cashed out already thats why sigt dropped recently. I Was here in block 300, there wasnt any premine/instamine... You can verify this here in the ANN, i am the second person to comment here

I have a question about the market that is soon to be developed -
On the white paper it states: "Signatum Marketplace: A marketplace that will enable people and companies to sell products and services around the world, using Signatum as a currency."
My question is that will there be any restrictions on what can be sold on the market place and if so, how will they be inforced?
Thanks - Fabrizio
They said they'll have moderators to ban any illegal posts. But I dont see the point in them doing that, because people will just go to ebay or amazon if they wanted to be monitored. The use of a private crypto in a monitored market doesnt make sense. Was thinking that myself, to be different from the rest, it has to be completely open, especially with it being on tor, it makes no sense to police the market place. Its fully opensource, anyone can copy it and make for illegal things, only the official will be monitored, the owners (devs) dont want FBI chasing they

@signatum
Using Signatum official Windows Wallet i made Wallet backup. How do i load that backup if i reinstall the wallet or want to add it on another pc?
I see only option to import private key, but when i got wallet with signatum official wallet i was only give an address, cannot see the private key. How do i solve this?
Either see private key for given address inside signatum client, or how do i import wallet after i went to option "Backup wallet"
Cheers!
you only need to replace your backup.dat to wallet.dat in %appdata%/Signatum/ If i am correct

Wow! With nicehash miners now jumping on SIGT, POS Will be Very sooner right? So price Will rise sooner too, and i think right now is the Perfect time to buy ? Since im newbie, i would like to hear yours opinions about that guys
Nicehash today, marketplace next week, bittrex probably this or next month, perfect time to buy Not sure bringing nicehash to signatum was a good idea...
The main purpose of nicehash is automatically convert sigt to btc (so only sell sigt) Why would this be good to this coin?
We don't need more nethash we need investors, news, progress ...
Wrong, nicehash only offers hashpower to buyers, they dont mine SIGT and offers BTC to sellers, the buyer can sell sigt like a normal miner or hodl like most of us Nethash give more security to the network, also makes the price for getting the coin increase, soo coin price might grow up too

I knew Sigt was the most secure, the only thing that's annoying is theyre planning on monitoring their marketplace for "illegal" sales. Safex doesn't monitor anything, if Sigt didn't monitor their market place I'd be 99% certain they'd make the top 10 coins. If they make masternodes too then it might be able to compete with BTC and Eth. The official marketplace will be monitored because the devs dont want problems, but the marketplace will be 100% opensource, soo anyone can copy it and make it for illegal things Masternodes needs hardfork...

Just another Shit coin clone for the devs to make money on.
Crow is using the money he is making to pay back prior debts.
"Just purchased the BURST to right the pool's balance issues, and also drop a bonus on the pool for the missed payouts in the recent past.
Thanks."
This project is going nowhere except for a few P&d's!
Okay, another FUD newbie account... Soo how the devs can make money on without any time of ICO, devfee or even premine? "Ahh, there was a instamine before block 1000 blablabla" NOPE! I was there, i tryed to mine there but due my slow connection (~200ms to other nodes) i only got orphan blocks, proof? see me on the second comment of this ANN

Ive been mining chc and eth with no issue
