Unfortunately I have followed the instructions for mining SIGT through a mining pool with GPU on this website:

http://cryptovore.com/2017/07/19/how-to-mine-signatum-sigt/

but it seems that it is not working, as soon as I run the signatumminer.bat file I get an error message.

"WARNING: GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS is not specified!"

I have already changed the setting of "setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT" to a "5" which  is a very low number but same error. Any missing instructions on the webpage that I didn't follow?

First update you all drivers.
Second, if you use not graphic cards miners, you need more inform and i help you

You mean update all NVIDIA drivers? I am not using a mining device. I am just relying on my own laptops graphic  card. So can you help me with that? Somebody said to use ccminer. Where can I download it? And what to do to efficiently mine it?

First stop where can I download CCminer? can you give me some links.

Happy to see so much commitment and improvement from you all, thanks! I don't know if you guys have any plan to set up something like a disclaimer:

keep it up!

Amazing news about the marketplace development. When the PoS will hit, there should be a market for using sing already. It's very important.

Funny how some people claim that sigt is a dead coin without arguments.
From my point of view, this coin is far more alive than tons of ICOed coins and come with regular good news :
- Devs are working on the project and they prove it : marketplace is online, escrow is on the way, android wallet is on the way, translations are being done.
- They fired Crowetic and his team, which is definitelly a good news for the future of this coin
- Discord is active, community is growing every day
- Mining is still profitable with nvidia, maybe not the most profitable but in my case still better than equihash
- Always in the top 3 on cryptopia since the first day, with a constant pretty nice volume and market cap, and a quite good resistance to dumps.

Compare with a well known ICO for example : NVO.
Big team, great roadmap, nice and professional communication : they made millions with the ICO : everything to expect a nice, solid and fast development of the asset.
Since ICO ended almost 2 months ago, nothing has moved on, website is not updated, wallet not updated, roadmap seems abandoned, almost no news from the team.
In one month, sigt achieved more things than 99% of ICOs coins in a year.
So, where is the scam ?

I strongly believe sigt has more potential than all those ICOs shits. I don't give a f*ck about those shitposts "will moon tonight", "lambos" or "deadcoin", "scam" ; I just watch facts, and not fud or shill.

Agree with you.
That's why some people who want to have easy fake ICOs hate SIGT here. This is the answer why some exchanges take some "IoweYouSex" coins from day 1, but cannot see SIGT af all.

Would it be possible for someone with 2116 Sig to kill the block chain when it gets to proof of stake?

This is not my area of expertise, but if my numbers are within 4-5 orders of magnitude this is a critical issue.

if interest is paid hourly, as has been stated, it must be recorded on the block chain.

If I am reading the main.h correctly then the maximum space for transactions is 100000 bytes per block.

From Bitcoin an outgoing transaction is about 34 bytes.  I am assuming Signatum is similar.

So a max of roughly 3,000 transactions per minute or 180,000 per hour

5% interest compounded hourly is 0.00000570

In order to collect the minimum amount of 0.00000001 hourly an account needs to stake 0.00175439 Sig.

Minimum Stat required to create 180000 interest bearing accounts.
2116  = 315.7902 transfered + 1800 (Tx Fees)

Since it looks like a single wallet can stake multiple accounts wouldn't this be a trivial script and $200 to kill the chain with interest transactions?

Not sure interest will be paid hourly, where did you read that ?

I believe I read it somewhere on here.  Page 10 of the white paper actually says it is paid every 5 minutes.

A 5 minute payout would be 0.0000004756 so 0.02102608 Sig per wallet, but you would only need 15,000.  15,000 * 0.02102608 + 150 = 465.3912

Main.cpp sets
Code:
nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + 8)

From what I can tell it simplifies to "nCoinAge * 13689"  All the math is e-8, but if nCoinAge is the mature coins and it runs every 5 minutes then this is a 1400% return.

Hopefully I am wrong.

Edit: Fixed exponential.

Draining! Urgently sell! The price will fall to 300sat.
OMG, Jesus Chris, better do what this guy says. Quick! The coin is dying and we will probably loose everything in the next 16 seconds. I can feel the vital signs fading. The room suddenly got colder and the presence of supernatural is in the air. Sell, sell, sell! LOL Cheesy

/sarcasm

Are you sure?
The stats on the website whentosell says 24 seconds.  Why is there a discrepancy?

SIGT almost have 800 BTC volume at cryptopia but now we have 37 BTC volume per day because of the Crow

Those doomsayers are looking for ways to devalue the  coin. They would not succeed. They are trying to find ways to make value of coin so low they could mass buy it.

Pretty much, old trick in the book, spread FUD and hoping the price tank because of mass dump. Its been trading ok over the weekend,  not so many wild swings as before so probably showing signs of a bit of stability.
