earlier this year I tried to hold some coins and tokens but saw the market and the exchange getting downhill, what is the best move to sell it or hold it?
When did you buy how much did you spent? X How much are you currently at loss? Y Can you afford a further loss? Yes/No Do you depend on that money NOW? Yes/No Usually I invest X amount (that i do NOT need to rely on, EVER). I do not care about my Y, (due to X being an amount I would have never relied on, and due to own beliefs into a project due to OWN RESEARCH). If something happens and I cannot afford a further loss due to other variables outside my control, and I require that money, as i would not have anything else, I would cash out, not matter the loss. Otherwise DO NOT TOUCH! This is how i judge if i have to sell or not. Looking forward on better views. |

I invested half of my saving ($25,000) into ETH when it was $725. ETH has now plunged to $459. I am very worried I will keep losing money and I fear for the worst. I want to go kill myself  Is it just me or it seems you have never lost something in life that was of value? Maybe you should consider doing something else after you sort this side (ie. market recovers, may take 1 week , may take 1 year). The golden rules:

ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOOSE!Unnecessary risk, or acting as with the masses but with no concise belief and patience cannot actuate to knowledge. Do some research do some reading, not once, a bit every day... and make sure you read both sides, pro's and con's. And FFS, don't just take the easy way out, you can't be that weak, you have something in you, you took a risk, what did you think it will happen? What happens when you take risk? You loose or gain. No, it is not in danger. Facebook and Twitter banned the paid advertisements of ICO projects, so projects can publish their content in this social media platforms but they cant anymore paying for promoting their posts, videos. In fact I think this will force the projects to hire more bounty hunters to advertise the project's content in this platforms, since paid ads are banned now, the unique way is the effort of their bounty participants.
I see this as quite good, as more rewards will be offered. or is it just me? |

Hi my name is Jorge, I'm new to the forum, and mining, I started to mining about 2 weeks ago with nice hash but I'm more interested to mine ethereum, I've done some research (not enough obviously)on how to use ethermine and mining pool hub, I have lots of questions on mining pool hub but that is a different topic on its own.
Mining on ethermine was easy to set up and run, but after my computer goes to sleep to save power, the mining program stops, when I mine on nice has it runs on the background while the computer sleeps, how can I keep mining ethereum when the computer goes to sleep?
Since you just started, research on how to mine yourself and ditch nice hash and join a mining pool, NiceHash is a loss. I used them the first month when i started and ditched them straight away as i found how much i was actually loosing. It is not hard, just learn/read/watch a video on how to do it and in a couple of days or maximum weeks, move on AND make more for you. Welcome and Good luck our fellow miner! |

Since these new ASICs are coming with all the algoritms that are used in GPU ETH dual mining and these coins are not going anti asic looks like the end of dual mining.
The topic is posted 3 times (although under ETH mining only), but surely this can be added in that topic as well?! |
