Both of mine will fall off for a few mins occasionally. Says it lost connection to the pool and/or that there's no work available. Usually they resume after a few mins or less.

hey guys, the earlier issues with the 0 coins found on a few rounds has been fixed up. Was just a display issue on the site.
Still showing all zeros for me... And the confirmed/exchanged balance is only carryover from yesterday.

Would those last few blocks so close to payout cause a low payout? Or was today just bad luck?
With 600KH/s I was seeing about .01BTC/day.
Today with 900KH/s I was paid out .0078BTC.
Doesn't quite make sense.

Glad it's not just me that noticed things being slow.
I'm projected to earn as much or LESS with 2x 7950 than I was a few days ago with 1x7950.
Supplementary question. I have about 1.2MH/s on HC with my 2x 7950s, should I be submitting stales or not? If I set no-submit-stale : true, my reject/stale rate drops to almost zero (but I get a lower Hashrate reported on HC), but if I set no-submit-stale : false, I get lots of stales/rejects.
I'm also seeing frequent connection interruptions, though most of the time it will resume quickly. Is this normal? As well as "running out of work"? Sometimes it will say waiting for work and sit there for a few mins before picking up
Thoughts?

thanks for the reply nearmiss. i appreciate it.
also thanks for the info, not counting the rejects in hashrate calc makes sense.
is there any way to improve these high rejects?
|
|
|
what about the varying hashrate?
|
|
|
It seems this pool is spending quite a lot of time on TAG but I don't see any payouts from it.
What's up with that?
I'm also seeing very high reject rates when on certain coins. and varying hash rates based on coin (as reported by your stats), but my hashrate reported on my miner seems pretty stable.
for example, high hash rates (600-700KH) and low rejects (1-2%) on TAG low hash rates (100-300KH) and high rejects (60%+) on FST

Ok. Bter replied to my email and said that the amount was too small to be credited, but that when I deposit more, they will add it in.

thanks for the help, i will contact them.
but other than the very small amount transferred. did i do anything glaringly wrong? by the looks of things, it SHOULD have transferred correct?
any advice on if i should not use bter in the future because of this? can you use bter as a wallet? or is it not designed to be used that way? basically i was going to use blockchain as my main wallet, and then transfer to bter for exchanges. or is that not wise?
i like the idea of an online wallet, since you can access it anywhere. but i understand the risks. routine backups of the online wallet should be performed, right?
sorry for all the questions and sorry if i'm ever unclear. just trying to learn.

so i got some BTC "dust" from a faucet site(s). and wanted to test out how this works before i lose a larger sum.
could see the balance in my BTC wallet on blockchain (online). so i plugged in the address to my bter account.
i transfered the entire balance, 0.00001128BTC (approx $0.09 at the time a few days ago).
upon transfer from blockchain, i was given a warning that i needed .00002128 BTC to transfer the .00001128 amount. and i selected adjust amount.
at that time, my BTC balance on blockchain went to 0.000000BTC. huh? i thought it just said it wouldnt let me transfer. oh well.
i checked out my bter balance, still 0.00000, however i can see the transfer. so i waited a few days since i did not transfer a fee.
a few days later, the transfer is still there, with 466 confirmations, and there is no balance on bter still.
whats the deal? did i do something wrong? lessons learned?
