I dont understand. I have to leave browser open with my wallet unlock? is it going to be automatically working since it is a web wallet (meaning its already running 24/7)?
The services on the link is for pow or pos?
Yes. This is the idea. You will mine both pow and pos directly in the browser. Proof of stake at the moment is in our internal test net branch on github. |

The Pool was implemented and released about 2-3 months ago. There are a couple of mining pools that are running and administrated by the members of our community. Moreover, our open source community is at the moment doing the latest tests for the Proof of Stake hybrid mining. Cheers  |

Hey WebD guys, there is any chance to solve de issue about the chaotic jump of the pools?
It is not an issue. For some period of time, some pools become offline, and in order to avoid not mining minutes or even hours, we decided to make the miners to connect automatically to other pools. Sorry webdollar.io_copperMember but this is senseless. Looks like a hidden mining job for me. Centralized (and perhaps favoured). You should let us to decide in wich pool we want to stay. The behaviour of that list is verry annoying thing. You're with programming part and we with the mining; one half without the other isn't working... The things could be done easily: what is the reason to not put the links to the pools in the webdollar.io page? It is so hard to do it? So in your mind you prefer to have 0h/s for hours burning electricity? What I want to tell you, that some of the pools are not available 24/24 |

The website seems in a state of abandonement. For weeks now links are not working. The link to the "Exchange" in the upper bar leads to google. The link to "Referral" leads to nowhere. There is no way to understand how one should use the site. Any newcomer would just leave as there is no explanation whatsoever as the FAQ is outdated and inadequate. This suggests the team having a zero understanding on how to communicate with people. Zero. Not exactly in tune with the declared intent of looking for mass adoption. When you click the referral link, the link is copied in your clipboard and you don't need to do anything else. It is that simple. The project is open source and anybody is welcome to contribute in many forms like adding more answers to the FAQ, coding, fixing minor bugs etc. WebDollar is an open source project, just like Bitcoin. It is built by the community for the community. |

Listing this coin on a reputed exchange would be better than on your own exchange.
You have ZERO experience to build an exchange.
How do you plan to become an exchange if you are not a registered company?
The liquidity will be so small on your own exchange and the coin will be dumped even harder.
There is not a single company which back up your project and you talk about adoption.
Be real! Nobody knows about WEBD besides a few guys from bitcointalk. Twitter account is dead, Reddit is dead, Facebook the same. You are only on telegram but there nothing can be disputed because you can't create threads.
And stop comparing WEBD with BTC.
First of all, many Exchanges are not registered as companies because they do crypto to crypto. Second of all, we respect all the laws from Romania which doesn't recognize cryptocurrencies as anything. So, for the government I live, cryptocurrencies simply doesn't exist. Even the first Exchanges of Bitcoin from 2010 were not registered companies and they were built by the community. To give you a really good example: Etherdelta. Our models to creation is simply Bitcoin. This is exactly what we are achieving "one CPU - one vote". We are not interested in paying big exchanges fees (which even costs millions of dollars for Binance for instance) for listing our coin. Second of all, Bitcoin is not a company but a technology and a community. WebDollar wants to be exactly like Bitcoin, an open source technology and open minded community |

This is real CPU mining, meaning the faster the CPU and the more cores it has the better results will be. Also new CPUs have newer instructions sets which are more efficient. Latest generation of Intel and AMD are the best.
Pools are already available and are working pretty fine. The code is not final (and some features will be added with time) but almost 98% of the miners now mine in pools, so this says a lot about the efficiency of the pools.
Is the mining only done by the CPU ? Doesn't the graphic card have any influence on the hashrate that you can reach? The graphic card doesn't have any influence on the hash rate. This is an important point - still largely underestimated by the community. This will prefent rigs owners to harvest all the coins, not to speak about asic owners. Using computer as they are was the original concept of Satoshi Nakamoto. WebDollar is profitable only with CPU. With GPU video cards it will mine less because it is very important the speed of the cache memory, and the CPU has the fastest speed to access the memory. |

The experimental Pools are up and running. The pools usually update and suspend the activity 10 minutes, usually, it happens from 12 in 12 hours. You can check their availability on webdscan.io, one of our blockchain explorers    |

We were not able to foresee problems caused by a faulty connection design and thus many of you had issues connecting to the correct blockchain.
This was regrettable and we apologize for the confusion today.

For that we have decided to put the mainnet on hold and re-assess our next steps, revert to testnet mining for 7 days and make sure that all the outstanding issues are fixed; after that there will be a countdown to make sure everybody gets a fair chance at mining.

Your Mainnet works terrible! Your network does not work. constantly error. check the Internet router or firewall. I tried on 3 different computers. and two phones. everywhere a different provider.
I have the same problem. Nothing helps - restarting PC, restarting Internet, clean browser cookie, changing browser. Stop your Mainnet, resolve all issues and then start again. The problem is with the connection infrastructure, the entry point to the system. Is not your fault, it is ours. We are working to deploy a fix. The mainnet is safe and it works, it is just hard to connect to it. Apologies. |

Hello, brodyagas86, We are sorry for that. Our infrastructure is overwhelmed and we are working to fix it. It is just a connection error, the blockchain works great, but people have problems connecting to the nodes. Will deploy a fix soon. |

check your firewall antivirus or internet.
Network adjust time didn't work cluster best is empty
It mines for a little while and then gives this error.
