1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which decentralized exchanges are going to make the race? on: February 16, 2018, 11:45:10 AM
Certainly, decentralized exchanges are going to become very important in the following years. I don‘t want to miss the train and am looking for good investment opportunities but am also interested in using an exchange and switching from the centralized ones.

Name your top 2 DEX which make the race in your opinion. Currently I am looking for a already established dex and ICOs.

My top 2 DEX:

 1. Altcoin.io- powered by Atomic Swaps has its powered "Altcoin.iobills" itself, Atomic swaps are opening up a whole new world of cryptocurrency exchanges this year with no middle-man required.

 2. Shapeshift.io

Shapeshift is one  the most popular DEXs there is, available to traders everywhere in the world except in New York state and North Korea.

If you’ve tried centralized cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase and Binance, and if you are looking to branch out further, try this decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. There’s no dollars or euros or pounds on Shapeshift; just private, P2P crypto-to-crypto trades.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What innovative Idea would you like to see in crypto? on: February 16, 2018, 09:09:51 AM
Ideas can range from new technologies, different use cases and or anything else you have thought of..

Looking for potential business endeavours..

Thankyou

These innovative ideas I see in cryptocurrency are like:

Gaming- selling rare in-game items for blockchain tokens is now on the rise.

Gambling-crypto-casino is the idea this  includes poker, sports betting and online gaming item using cryptocurrency as the deal money

Cryptocurrency ATMs/BTMs- for those who have enough capital atms/btms is a good idea. It as a good return of investment upto 10%. You will invest on the machine but even then a good profit is sure.

Seeling good for cryptocurrencies-if you already have a retail business you will expand it so that people can pay through cryptocurrency at their convenience by setting up shops with digital POS registers and vending machines that accept cyrptocurrency.

There are still lots of innovations that can be seen in cryptocurrency by setting up a gateway, creating a bitcoin faucet and becoming an oracle.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: February 16, 2018, 03:15:57 AM
Do you think that sometime in the future, Bitcoin might overcome Paypal, as it scales in capacity and userbase over the years?

We already have the ability to create our own marketplace with OpenBazaar, that uses Bitcoin as its payment method, so it should be no surprise that the combination of these two may be a fierce competition for both eBay and Paypal.

Nevertheless, feel free to vote on the poll above and express your opinion about it, if desired.  Grin

Yes, it is because of true efficiency and a total overhaul or upgrade of outdated business models brought forth by unprecedented network-driven efficiencies.

The introduction of the Bitcoinus, a revolutionary online processing for crypto as the company tagged it started last January 22, 2018. The company wanted to make more altcoins available for payments to create more opportunities for all online businesses and crypto developers. Two years from now people will see the difference and after 5 years Paypal will be in trouble. That's from the CEO of the Bitcoinus Thomas Mikauskas.

The digital currency works, Bitcoin has greater volume transactions than Western Union and it is anticipated it will overtake PayPal later this year. That's from CEO Peter Tasca of Laureate Trust.

In the next two years, Bitcoin can surpass the dollar transaction volumes of other established payment companies including Discover, and even American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. That's from CEO Chaya Hendrick of SmartMetric.
4  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why Banks are attacking Bitcoin ? on: February 13, 2018, 01:38:12 PM
Day by day we are getting news like , this country reject bitcoin that country accept Bitcoin. Technically it stands a contrast perspective with the Central Bank and the economy of the country. But as I love BITCOIN , I pray Every single country will accept BITCOIN one day.

No Liabilities or debt with BITCOIN:

Bitcoin is a conveyor machine, meaning that there are no liabilities or debts associated with it. You can't get loan from it , or you can't get profit through interest.  If you hold it, it’s yours. And as such, there can be no run on a “bitcoin bank.” It's Independent.

Bitcoin is considered as Fiat Currency :
Of course you can assume,  holding bitcoin superior in many ways to holding fiat currency in a deposit account. Here Fiat currency are those which can not be backed by commodities . It has all the benefits without the risk of capital controls. Because of this, the growth of bitcoin is sucking value out of national currencies. The higher capital will rise the higher value it will get.

The Capital is really HUGE
I think there is now more than $70B worth of bitcoin sitting in bitcoin wallets. One thing to consider here , the asset is not under any management. So we can call it AUP (Asset Under Management ) , but we can call it Assets Under Protection (AUP). And here is where the risk to traditional banking resides. What does a world look like when a simple bitcoin wallet is indirectly protecting as much money as big giant companies , organizations like  Bank of America or Fargo etc.

Wallet Becomes Bank
At that point that wallet becomes a bank, Haha , a newer form of bank with decentralized function, with different rules, operations, and monetization policy.

The Last Reason-  PEOPLES LOVE BITCOIN
The real reason that banks should worry about People loves BITCOIN. People always love easy process, better stability and full control. All things are available in this case. Bitcoin actually threatens the bedrock policy  and business model of Banks. That's why Banks are attacking Bitcoin.

I am trying to write good article and trying to research more to build good article. Really dreaming to get first MERIT. Thanks you guys. (Forgive me for any mistake)
Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Banks are attacking bitcoin because Banks say Bitcoin and other currencies are by no means currencies because it has no real value, they are pure speculative objects, it's a bubble and it is dangerous, it has technical limitations for users,  it could trigger substantial risks in the side of investors and potential risks in financial stability.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does technical analysis work with crypto? on: February 13, 2018, 01:10:09 PM
I've been thinking about starting to learn how to read charts and do some technical analysis for myself. The problem is I see it ridiculed on pretty much every forum and people saying it's useless for crypto.

What are your thoughts? Worthwhile?

Technical analysis' usage fits for crypto because it is used for day or swing trading from short to medium term trading. Technical analysis serves as a guide for traders. They’ll use indicators like the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). They also watch the charts for trendlines and others. Many also says the technical analysis doesn't fit for cryptocurrency because of its volatility it is only good for stable and predictable markets like forex and stock market.

For me, in every subject, technical analysis is useful this serves as a reference The past data makes you analyze how did you perform in the present. Events happened in the past will give your direction on what to do for the next. So in bitcoin though it's hard to forecast but you have the trend because of reference/comparative data.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: February 11, 2018, 10:27:44 AM
Hi guys! Can you share some tried and tested tricks on making the most out of your buck and also some tips on how to save money more effectively. This will be a heck of a help to our fellow users here. Thank you so much.

How to save your money: 1. You must have a target, short or long term, should be achieveable and realistic and set your deadline when to complete it. 2. Do not spend without planning. Buy things according to your needs not just you want it. Needs is different from Wants. If it is not necessary don't buy it. Don't be an impulsive buyer. 3. Open a bank for your savings so that you will not be tempted to spend it on unnecessary things at least in the bank you will earn an interest. 4. Always plan a budget or allocation of your money. Spend according to your budget not more than you allocate.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: February 11, 2018, 09:09:16 AM
Personally, if I'm in a coffee shop or any store with some people, I pull out my wallet and subtly show them my Xapo debit card. Then they get curious on what kind of card is that since it doesnt look like the usual Mastercard or creditcard. Then I explain it from there on.

What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? Smiley

If I already earn much from Bitcoin and buy some properties or asset I will show to my friends and co workers that I earn those through bitcoin. I create new topics share my tips and strategies and what I learn about bitcoin. Not only in the form in other website and Social Media as well.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we help bitcoin grow? on: February 11, 2018, 06:14:43 AM
Bitcoin doesn't hold the promise it once did, explosive growth and adoption, now the only explosion in adoption is the number of segwit users. People are using the lightning network before it's ready, potentially damaging the bitcoin ecosystem.

So I ask you, what can we do to improve bitcoin adoption, reduce fees and protect bitcoin for being crushed by regulations?

If bitcoin will be used in the clean way and with food purpose bitcoin will be loved more by people. If it will not trigger illegal activities in the financial world I believe bitcoin adoption will improve. People who are so long in bitcoin will lead the way in taking care of bitcoin so that it will become more beneficial to all from A to D kind of clients can access and benefit from it.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: February 11, 2018, 06:06:09 AM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away

I am amazed as I read an article regarding  internet is shutdown. When the internet is down,  miners could potentially develop a radio frequency communication channel, or even take transactions by mail. You could mail your signed transaction to the miner, with the address of the recipient, then the miner would verify the transaction and send a confirmation mail to you and the receiver. As inefficient as that sounds, it would still be a way to transact Bitcoins without the use of the Internet.
I thought if there is no internet it is already impossible to process bitcoin transaction or it is the end of bitcoin.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: February 11, 2018, 05:19:05 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

A Smart Person is the one who won't be toungue-tied in any conversation and won't be caught off-guard. In physical appearance a smart person is well-groomed, neat and clean and with good posture. The strategic person is a good planner will always find ways to solve problems. Whatever complicated the problem is a srategic person knows where to place actions anytime and anywhere.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin in the future? Your thoughts about it? on: February 11, 2018, 03:31:50 AM
I've seen that there are new cyptocurrencies going out, starting new ICO's new cryptos and more, but what about bitcoin, what about satoshis, they are the ones who started digital currency, and I am eager to know what are your thoughts and insights about bitcoin in the mere future, I need your opinions about this, bitcoin is gaining a lot of attention right now, and I can see two (2) sides of what bitcoin will look like in the future, but before that I wanna know what'd be your opinions about this.

Bitcoin in the future: Bitcoin price will become 10 times higher; bitcoin cash will become the most commonly used fast payments, better choice for investing and will have greater demand in the future. Bitcoin is no stopping the value will soar high.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: February 10, 2018, 02:17:27 PM
For me, Bitcoin has many advantages, one advantage is it gives to the individual money to sustain the basic needs, It also reduce the increasing number of unemployed in some countries, The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency, that's the some advantage of bitcoin.

Advantages of bitcoin:

Low transaction fees-cheaper compare to other
Payment anywhere-anywhere and anytime in the world, we are in control of our money in bitcoin
Security- bitcoin can be backed up and encrypted and protected against identity theft
Low risk on merchant side-very hard to cheat because it is protected through the blockchain ledger
Transparency

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable on: February 10, 2018, 01:31:52 PM
bitcoin cannot replace currency in the world because price is not stable.

currency should be more stable.

you may reply me. currency is not stable also but you should think

USD currency price is up and down 1-2% in 1 month.

bitcoin price is up and down 20% in 1 month.

what will people think if they just change USD to bitcoin then their money down 10% in 10 minutes?

bitcoin can become stock but cannot become currency

Bitcoin cannot be a currency but a good channel for exchange. It has a lot of features yet to be polished like scability issue, volatile in nature, unpredictable. So bitcoin cannot still be money because not people can understand it and its usage especially those who are not technology experts.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance for USA to ban bitcoin? on: February 10, 2018, 12:47:43 PM
Every country are starting to ban. What if USA ban? how will it go?

Until now US has no clear direction on the regulation of any cryptocurrency but people are hoping that soon there will be. Similar situation with other countries, SEC always warn the risks on investing in cryptocurrency and as this will possibly be used in money-laundering activities. Government meetings has been called and the federal government has plan of exploring the marketplace of cryptocurrency because they are suspecting that bitcoin is equivalent to the so-called "Swiss bank account". If ever it will be regulated it will be in a state-by-state basis.

19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Women empowerment? on: January 24, 2018, 03:34:47 AM
I don't think women empowement will lead to destruction in the society. Women can be empowered but not to the extent to level more than with men. They should be empowered so that they will not be abused and to keep them away from violence. Women are always help meet to men.
