EWBF_, can you add ability for miner to exit as soon as there is an error with the cuda cores? currently when there is a memory error or something like that it tries to restart the GPUs and stuff. I'd prefer the miner just quit so computer restarts faster. everytime the miner tries to restart GPUs one of them doesnt mine or the computer restarts anyways. It would be more efficient if the program exited right away

Second crash occurred with my 5 GPU rig, each 1070Ti with PL=120 W and OC=200/1000.
make sure your page file is big enough. i set mine to 7168 mb per card. then start lowering your OC until stability increases. I'd also decrease power for higher efficiency
Where do I have to set the page file settings? It is Ubuntu. My knowledge about page file how to set is in Windows, no clue about settings in Ubunto. Many thanks in advance for your help. is the mining software able to send a power limit to the gpu? or can the miner execute an nvidiainspector command line? I want to change my OC settings based on pool difficulty. i just want to change powerlimit as diff goes up and down

At the moment EWBF is the only viable GPU miner for nvidia. I'm averaging 43 sol/s on a 14 card 1070 rig. power per card is 90-100 watts. this is the most efficient setup for me.
I tried funakoshi's latest miner, v4.10, and with same OC settings I was getting mid 30's...... so there really is no competition, unless I did something wrong with funakoshi's
Basically Im suggesting there's maybe no need to focus on speed increases, but the focus should be efficiency & stability if there's more room to do so. but maybe speed & efficiency are synonymous?

Im running 14 1070s, been using a different miner avg 43 sol/s mining BTG (90-100w/card).
Downloaded 4.10 to try it, and im getting low 30s with same OC settings.
missing something?

SO CRAZY! The rig with 4 x 1080Ti and 6 x 1070 from 535 sols/s (EWBF v0.5) jumped to 600 sols/s (EWBF v0.6)! 1080Ti delivers now 78 to 82 sols/s and 1070 has 44 to 49 sols/s. Good job, man!  What TDP and overclock do you set to get 82 on gtx 1080 ti? I can run my EVGA 1070 FTW's at 80% pwr and avg 48 sol/s but profit is higher when i run them at 50% pwr averaging 43 sol/s |

Is there any efficiency or speed benefits in the different CUDA versions? the latest NVIDIA drivers added support for CUDA 10. Does this affect mining applications?

The rich and the poor also. The only equality in this world is death, it's the same for everyone. Sorry for this off.  You're right, but most all of us need money for bills and such and there's nothing wrong with being paid for work. EWBF_, in next ver could you add an avg speed readout for avg sol/s, averaging the sol/s over the runtime of the miner since last start, and also avg efficiency in sol/w (averaging all cards together) over the runtime since last start?

all my gpus are working properly now. I was changing risers to troubleshoot the issue but windows decided to update at the same time. im not sure if the risers did it or the windows update, im leaning towards windows update. regardless, all issues have resolved themselves

I have 12 evga 1070 SCs on Win10 Pro using nvidia inspector to OC to 100/450 85% power. each card using around 123 watts. and my SOL/s is about 470 in EWBF 0.5
I previously had this machine running on Win10 Home, same hardware, using EWBF 0.4 I'd get about 470 sol/s then i upgraded to 0.5 and was getting 505-515 sol/s. but formatted ssd and did a clean install of win10 pro and now EWBF 0.5 is maxing at 475 sol/s and not over 500 as previously achieved with same OC settings. I'm at a loss.
I also updated B250 mining expert from bios 1010 to bios 1026, or whatever the latest BIOS is. Could this contribute?
Which version of nvidia driver are you currently using? was using 399.07, driver date 8/21/18. updated to 411.63 date: 9/18/18 and it got slower. one gpu is down to 35 sol/s |

I had this same problem and I decreased my OC until this stoppped happening. noticed my SOL/s stayed about the same also as i decreased. this is my run.bat, it will restart on errors and such: :restart @echo off TIMEOUT 3 miner.exe --algo 144_5 --pers BgoldPoW --server us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --port 20595 --user xxxx --pass x --pec --fee x --log 2 --eexit 1 ping 127.0.0.1 > nul goto :restart |

I dont know what is confusing about this.... I went into the fabric token telegram and saw a user account that had "admin" in the top right corner like all admins have. he initiated a DM with me and that was the conversation.
