connect: No error connect: No error connect: No error what this mean? rig is accessing net fine but miner gives this error

sometimes system restarts on cuda errors, sometimes system freezes. is there anyway for miniz to auto restart system on cuda error before the windows hangs or do I need to use a hardware watchdog

You need to stop this bullsh*t of stopping the whole miner when it can't connect to your dev fee pool! It's not our fault when your pools are down or for whatever reason not responding. I lost many hours of mining power due to this already and if this wont stop I'll change back to another miner, even though I have lower hashrates there. Better a lower hashrate than 0 hashrate!
don't think this will ever change I complained on this same issue Nov. 1st. put the miner in a loop inside your bat file; when the disconnect happens it will restart process. why does the miner do this when its so easy to just restart miner? who knows.. in your bat file do following :loopname <miner exec string> goto loopname

I got these EVGA 1070 FTW that require dual 8 pin connections. I use <100 watts on the video card, is there anyway to trick the card into thinking both 8 pin power connections are connected but only connect 1 8pin wire?

miner is still unstable for me at OC settings lower than those stable in gminer. i run my cards at 50-55% PL. im getting crashes every few hrs, sometimes less. OC settings are not high at all. sometimes runs for many hrs and sometimes few minutes
|
|
|
what means this percents (98.0%) (2.0%)?
2.0% is dev fee % of mining time

this cuda error log doesnt mean anything to me. would be great to know which gpu caused error also no error logged if file already exists

How do I create my own batch exe file so that I can put it in my startup windows folder?
what pool you using? to get into startup folder goto run and enter "shell:startup" here is a simple bat: f:\gminer\miner.exe --algo 144_5 --pers BgoldPoW --server us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --port 20595 --user name.worker --pass x --color 1 --pec --logfile f:\gminer\name.log --api 4067 to make a bat file use notepad and save as whatever.bat

Btw we've implemented your request about NVML, now miner exits on NVML initialization faults.
thank you for NVML exits. I guess I feel the energy calcs are useless because I have monitors on the plugs that report energy used. although I do like the watts used reported to make efficiency calcs
|
|
|
the kwh cost calculation is kind of useless. its not a real amount of energy used because it doesnt factor cpu, dram, mboard, psu.....

There is bug with GPU utilization in v1.09 for Equihash 144,5 and Equihash 192,7 under Windows. Use v1.08 if you want mine Equihash 144,5 or Equihash 192,7 under Windows. v1.09 works fine on AION algorithm. We will fix this issue as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm still using 1.07 for some cards because it's more efficient than 1.08

|
|
I think all previous versions should have no fee, and only latest version should have fee, across all mining softwares. this way devs will have more incentive to improve performance/efficiency each version

Nice job

about +10% than ewbf with same settings
Please add pool ping
you should lower power and increase efficiency. will also increase your profits, especially in this market, unless your electricity is free.

So, this measures power draw at the socket?
Miner measure only GPUs consumption seems redundant. would rather see efficiency improvements
|
|
|
they can manipulate the hashrate causing the miner to close and stop mining. think you want them to run your farm to their advantage?
Nope, this is bug in Windows version, sorry. We will fix it ASAP. Also Equihash 210/9 is done, we will release our Equihash 210/9 implementation as well. We have added electricity meter, miner collect electricity consumption and report it on console and browser (via API), also you can specify your cost of electricity, miner will report $ spent to electricity. https://imgur.com/a/RgJPJZehttps://imgur.com/a/AAGRtTRSo, this measures power draw at the socket?

For miniZ it may work with 24 GB, but if you have enough space go with at least 32 GB. Cheers. I am using 14 1070s in my rig and my pagefile is over 80gigs and I still get out of memory error when i try to run all 14 in one instance of the miner. if I split them between 2 instances, I get no error

Nice job man but still gminer winning
189-191 sols, 515W- miniZ 194-201 sols, 505W- gminer
6xGTX 1060 6gb Asus Strix
65% power limit 185 core -520 memory
144,5 needs + mem not -

I think 1.0g propels miniz into 1st place. but its unstable for me at certain power levels. still currently more efficient than gminer. unfortunately the mrkt is sh*t

Hi Zminer777, Out of memory error for 1050ti on Win10 x64 with 192_7 algo Although it seems memory is enough: I have this same issue when i use one miner instance for all 14 gpu. if i split the GPUs between two instances of the miner, works fine. using 1070s with 80gig pagefile
