I think I'd sell at least half of Bitcoin. It could go up or down from here. So keep half and sell half would be best. If it goes down you can buy more with the money you get from selling half and at a cheaper price. If it goes up then you still have some left to sell at a higher price. I don't think there will be any great boom in the next few weeks. And if it goes down I won't be too surprised.

I keep reading about bull traps. Does this mean that the price is being pumped up by whales to make people think the price will go up and lot and then it doesn't go up but falls . Is that what's happening now? Thanks.

Because the more people putting money in the more it goes up. And when people take money out the price goes down.
It could. But possibly it won't. I think 8k is very possible though. Don't think it will go anything above 12k any time in the near future. Like a few months. It could hover for days and days or just suddenly drop like a stone. Who knows.

No can't see this happening. People lost confidence in the last crash.

But with nobody regulating them some exchanges can do dirty dealing. That is the whole point of regulation. To try and make sure people are not cheated.

Perhaps if one of the big banks bring out a currency that is widely accepted and used that could replace Bitcoin and other coins eventually. I'm surprised one of the banks hasn't brought one out already or maybe they have.

I think I'd sell some at 10k because it's not a bad price for the last month or so. Then you have some left if price goes up and some money to buy more if the price drops lower.
It is certainly difficult to predict up or down now. I thought it would go down again in the last week to around 8k but it didn't. And now it's around 10k will it go up or down from here. But over the weekend it should become clearer what is happening. Or maybe just stable for the whole year at about 10k. Can't see that being the case though.

If the price goes low then invest is better. Like say down to 6k again. So you could keep some money back for that. But perhaps that will never happen. If price is hovering up and down day by day I think trade is better. But you have to watch the market carefully and have a bit of luck on your side and you won't always get it right.

The price is now the highest that it's been for 30 days. If I was one of those big superwhales I'd sell now and then buy back at a lower price. They'd make a lot of money doing that would they not.
It's difficult to tell what is going on behind the scenes just now. It has surprised me that Bitcoin has risen so much in the last week or so and who is buying at the expensive price it is now. I don't think I'd buy any Bitcoin at the present price.
If somebody is sitting on a profit I think they should take one now with at least a part of their investment. Then they will not lose too much either way and will probably gain. Difficult to say whether it is up or down from here. I thought it would go down over this weekend to around 8K. I was wrong.

I agree that Bitcoin is too expensive for ordinary people. If they can only afford a small amount of money it's just not worth it just now. If it crashed down to 2-3k then a lot of people would buy and they could at least get some profit.
I don't think it will bring many new buyers. New buyers are probably looking for a big profit and there isn't the confidence the price will shoot up.
It's a bit too late to buy as price is already up. But you could risk a small amount to see what will happen.
Sorry. I thought I got the right board for predictions or speculations. I apologise.
Here's my predictions. Bitcoin will settle around 8-8.5k over the weekend. But it's all guess work.
I think only a few will survive in the longterm. Say five or ten years. Others will come and go. But people will have to decide if they are a currency or a means of investment. Not sure they can be both. Because who wants there money in a currency that might drop overnight by quite a lot. Nobody.

It's already going down even in the last 15 minutes from around nearly 10k. Doesn't look like this is going to be any sort of bull run over the next few days. I'd say steady decline probably or maybe even a crash. Though it was encouraging that it did go up yesterday but it's just not sustainable.
