Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PSA: coinbase.com defrauds with different schemes

I can confirm this is all true..
I have been doing business with Coinbase for quite some time and up until now I thought everything was legit... Until they "decided" to take my money for an attempted purchase... "decide" not to send any BTC.. and then tell me they would refund me in 3 or 4 business days... which basically means sometime next week... I reached out to customer support who assured me they were going to look into my problem, fix it personally, and make sure it NEVER happened again... They told me everything was good and that I could go ahead and attempt the purchase again... I did, and the same thing happened, they "decided" to cancel the transaction after taking my money... now I have to wait 3 or 4 business days while thy play with my money and I get nothing. Meanwhile, the price of bitcoin has gone up so I am now unable to get the purchase price I desired because coinbase "decided" to take my money and send me nothing. This is criminal, it is fraud and they should be shut down.. Do NOT do business with Coinbase they are a giant scam.

Coinbase is a giant scam. Please do not do business with them. I just tried to buy .5 BTC and they au tomatically cancelled the buy and sent this stupid e-mail explaining that it was a "high risk" transaction and that they "decided" not to send me any BTC and that they would refund me in 3 or 4 business days. They basically just stole my money for 3 or 4 days. COMPLETE scam.
what makes it worse is that I reached out to customer support who assured me they had fixed my account and that I could go ahead and try the purchase again.... guess what? they cancelled it again! Now they have over $1,000 of my money for 3 or 4 days and I get nothing... This is criminal and they should be shut down for pulling crap like this.

Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip

After purchasing 4 antminer S1's, I can say without doubt that I am completely depressed. Only two of my units have delivered consistent trouble free results. The other two have had to be played with / cleaned / and restarted several times.. My worst miner, of which I am trying to have RMA'd, goes from 180 GH/s to 50-70 GH/s every night. I have to restart it every morning and no matter what before 12 hours is out it's running at less than half speed. I have tried:
1.) new PSU 2.) switching it to the PSU the other good units are working on 3.) cleanign all the excess thermal paste off 4.) Power cycling tens of times
Nothing seems to work. I am leaving this review because I contacted the RMA department and asked for the RMA process to be started and that was three days ago. I have just now received a resopnse from the company, but it was only my e-mail being forwarded to the RMA department asking them to follow up with me... Now I am waiting more.... it shouldn't take 48 hours to get an RMA process started.. I am losing so much money in BTC every day that this isn't fixed.
I'm sure this company has great intentions, but the products and services they deliver fall far short of acceptable. At this point I am under the impression I may have wasted my money buying these things.... Out of the 4 I purchased only 2 have done what they advertised they would do. Waiting 4 days for an RMA response is unacceptable.. especially in the world of bitcoin mining where every day you're down could be thousands of dollars lost.

To be perfectly honest:
If the sun was blocked out of the sky for JUST long enough to cause the surface temperature of hydrated driving surface to drop below the freezing point of deionized water we could possibly cause an an automobile accident that would delay an important bitcoin foundation meeting JUST long enough to postpone the next update until our super virus elite hacker skills technician can compromise the mainframe.
