I'm still interested in both. Mostly interested in the Saturn.

I'd like to buy a Mercury for 3.9 BTC or a Saturn for 7.5 BTC. I'm in the west USA (Seattle and San Francisco), and I can fly over to pick it up if you're not too far away. My estimate is that a Mercury has 3.6 BTC of revenue left in it, and a Saturn about 7.2 BTC, so I'm not trying to make a profit with this purchase; merely trying to fix a broken miner. I fried my October Jupiter's control board. I'm trying to replace it, and KNCMiner is a bit slow on the RMA, so I'd rather not wait for them.

Note the end time on this auction, people. It's not over until next Sunday. Make sure you take into account the fact that the difficulty will be higher on the 15th of December, and your revenues will be less.

11 BTC including shipping to Seattle, USA and escrow.
What time zone are you using for the end time? GMT+1?
|
|
|
Bitpop meant "Auction ends December 07, 2013, 03:26:55 AM" Pacific Standard Time. The forum displays timestamps in GMT by default. 16.5 BTC was the highest bid at the close.

7 BTC without .
(I recently broke my October Jupiter's controller board. I'd like to get this so I can move some modules over from the Jupiter to the Saturn. Think you can outbid me and still make a profit? You're probably wrong.)

I'll pitch in a bid of 6.0 BTC with PSU or 5.5 without PSU, with shipping to the USA. I'll pay escrow fees. (Bitrated preferred, btcrow acceptable.)
Before I pay the escrower, I would want you to set the miner to hash into Eligius account for a few minutes to verify the hashrate and that you have it in person.
This is an October batch, yes?
I'm not sure if I want the PSU yet. 0.5 BTC sounds like it might be more than the PSU is worth, but that depends on the exchange rate at the time of closing. Are you willing to tie the PSU price to USD, instead of BTC? (Miners should be priced in BTC because they produce BTC, so their value is tied to the value of BTC. Power supplies are commodity goods, and their value is better expressed in USD.)

I think this guy just wants a higher price than people here are willing to pay, so he doesn't reply because the price you offer is too low.

Me neither. Is the miner still available?

We could use Bitrated. There are no fees associated with Bitrated unless the transaction goes sour.
We could also use BTCrow. Their fee is 1.55%. Just for reference, 14.5 BTC * (1 - .0155) = 14.27525 BTC. That's 0.27525 BTC higher than the 14 BTC bid. I think that should qualify as a higher bid. Also, I think it's likely that the 14 BTC bid wanted to use escrow too, but just didn't deign to mention it.
Or we could use Ninjaboon or John K, but I prefer to deal with machines and algorithms over people for escrow.
By the way, in case I purchase from you and we do the escrow thing: I will videotape from the moment I or my agent signs for the package up through the opening of the box. If I claim the box is empty or contains something other than the stated product, such a claim should be backed by this evidence. I just wanted to go on the record saying that, since I think it addresses one of the nasty scams that can be pulled with escrow services. I think everyone else who uses escrow should do the same when possible.

Looks like one of its cores doesn't work properly, thereby bringing the hashrate down.
I'll offer 6.25 BTC with pickup in NYC (or possibly another airport -- you name it), or 6.5 BTC shipped (2nd day air) with escrow. If you want to do the pickup option, you'll have to let me know fast. I'm in Cincinnati until tomorrow. I can fly to NY before going home, but you'll have to let me know you're interested before I get my ticket back west (which I'll probably buy in about 4 hours).

I bid 14.5 BTC, and since you don't want to see my ugly face, I'll let you pay shipping and escrow fees. I'll accept Bitrated (not quite escrow, but same purpose, and cooler technology), BTCrow, and John K for escrow. I'll also consider other reasonable suggestions, as long as you don't suggest yourself.

I'll bid 2.5 BTC, shipped to 98102, paid with escrow via btcrow.com or bitrated.com or John K.
