Oops, re-read the post. Ignore the PSU question.

Also, is a power supply included? If so, what type?

Which city are you in? I'm in the SF bay right now, and my brother lives in Seattle (and maintains my mining farm there).

I bid 11 BTC. Yes, I'm skipping the 10 BTC node.
Where are you located? I may choose to fly in and pick it up in person. It tends to make more sense given that Jupiters currently earn about 0.4 BTC/day, as $300 overnight shipping plus 12 to 36 hours of mining is often more than a plane ticket. If I'm picking it up in person, would you be willing to add 0.3 BTC to my bids before comparing them to others'?

Okay, 15.5 BTC immediately, then, with 1.55 BTC deposit, PSU included.
BTCrow is acceptable to me. I have a slight preference for bitrated.com because I think the technology is really cool and I want to try it out, but if you prefer btcrow that's fine with me.
I'll PM you my email address and phone number in 360 seconds, and we can take it from there.

PSU is included? What is its stats?
I wouldn't book the 1:35 flight in advance; no way. I'd just try to catch it if I could (i.e. if we completed the transaction by 12:00 or 12:30pm).

For escrow, John K would be okay with me, but I think I would prefer to try out https://www.bitrated.com/. It's not exactly escrow, but it serves the same purpose, and serves it better. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm excited about what it promises. But again, as I said, John K is fine with me. I think the way it would work if we use John K is that I send John K 1.5 BTC, then when the miner arrives and I verify that it is actually a November Jupiter, I will pay you 13.5 BTC and we will both send a message to John K asking him to release the remaining 1.5 BTC to you. I suppose I could also pay you 15 BTC and ask him to release the 1.5 to me; it doesn't really matter. If we tell the escrower in advance what time we expect the transaction to take place, I think he should be able to respond quickly and release the funds within an hour or two. I've read that John K has been a bit busy (finals, or something) and less responsive recently, though, so maybe another escrower would be better. Maybe finals are over for him. Don't know. We could ask. If we used bitrated/m-of-n, we wouldn't need to wait for John K or anyone else, since your sig plus my sig would be enough to release the 1.5 BTC into your address (or mine). Bitrated's arbitrator only needs to act in case the two of us can't agree on what should be done with the 1.5 BTC deposit, in which case the arbitrator and one of us would need to agree on what to do with it. (2 of 3 signatures required.) I'm not sure what I would do about the return flight. I think I would probably hold off on booking it until the miner arrived. There's a good flight that leaves at 1:35 pm on Thursday, so if we could catch that, it would be great. Otherwise, I'd probably spend the night in Cin city, and try to find somewhere (motel?) where I could plug the miner in and run it while waiting for my flight. By the way, do you have a power supply for the miner? They ship without one, right?

Auction closes at 11:59pm EST on which day? Wednesday 12/4? Would you be willing to close the auction a few hours earlier? There's a fairly cheap flight at 10:10pm PST on Wednesday that arrives in CVG at 8:55am Thursday morning, but I would like more than 1 hour from auction close to boarding the plane. Could you close the auction at 8:00pm EST instead?

I'm willing to give you a 10% btc deposit with escrow. I can prove to you that I have enough BTC to complete the purchase by signing a message of your choice with addresses in my wallet. Also, I can send you my flight information (after I book it). I would be unlikely to back out after having invested a few hundred non-refundable bucks on a flight, right?
|
|
|
Okay, I'll bid 15 BTC with local pickup at CVG. That should save you about $200 and some hassle on shipping and put me in first, right?
|
|
|
I'll start the bidding at 11 BTC.
What's your location? I tend to prefer to fly over to pick it up in person to reduce the amount of revenue lost due to slow shipping, but that probably will only make sense if you're in North America or possibly Asia (since I have to go to China and India soon anyway).

I bid 1.5 BTC including shipping (USPS Priority Mail or another 2/3-day method to Seattle). Escrow or multisig/m-of-n ( https://www.bitrated.com/) required.
|
|
|
I'll offer you 14 BTC with pickup at a local airport. (What city are you in? Where's the nearest airport?) I'll pay you in person without escrow; if you require advance payment, I will be slightly annoyed, but will acquiesce if you are okay with escrow or https://www.bitrated.com/ multisig. I'd need about 24 hours' notice so I can plan my flight there.

Would you consider 13 BTC? I'll pay for shipping to Seattle and escrow, as you requested. 14 BTC+misc is a bit too much for something that won't arrive at my place until (probably) Thursday. This next difficulty adjustment is going to be big from all the November Jupiters arriving, and the one after that will be even bigger.
Normal escrow only protects buyers, not sellers. There's also double escrow, where both parties send the goods to be traded to the escrower, and then the escrower forwards them on. However, very few offer that service.

Hey wizkid057,
Would it be possible to have the stats display per-worker revenue (in BTC, cumulatively)? I would like to be able to use one payment address, but still see at a glance which miners have paid for themselves and which ones have not. I recognize you're too busy to implement it now with the recent chaos. Would it be possible to make this work retroactively so that in a few weeks (when you have time) we can see the earnings that are being made now?
If you do this, I'll dump 50 mBTC into the 1Stats address.
Alternately, if you point me to the relevant section of code, I can try to construct a patch myself.

I might be willing to pay a bit more (and maybe beat the $2300 craigslist offer), but I'd want to know a bit more about it first. Think I might be able to stop by tomorrow and check it out? I'd like to examine hash rates, clock speeds, power draw, and temperatures. Have you tried overclocking it yet?
I'll PM you my email address in about 360 seconds.

I'm looking to buy some KNCMiner equipment. I'm mostly interested in October and November Jupiters, but I could go for a Saturn too if the price is right. If you're in the western USA, I'll probably fly over and pick up (and pay for) the miner(s) in person. Bonus points if you're in Seattle or San Francisco.
I'd like to spend about 10 to 14 BTC per Jupiter. Saturns, half that. Exact price depends on whether you have it in hand or if it's still in the mail from KNCMiner, where you're located, whether it's a Oct or Nov miner, your reputation/trading history, and escrow arrangements. I'm interested in buying 0.5 to 4 TH/s total, depending on prices.
If you have other mining equipment for sale (at least 30 GH/s), feel free to send me offers. I expect to be willing to pay between 0.013 and 0.024 BTC/(GH/s).
Scammers, don't waste your (and my) time. I will see through you, and I will not agree to any mail-based trades without escrow and proof of possession.

I'll offer you 6.5 BTC for it, shipped to Seattle (98102).
I don't think you're going to get anything close to 10 BTC for it, but I understand if you don't want to sell for less.
