Great chance to jump on the board early if you are a miner too. One Baikal Giant A2000 Asic (does 1.6GH on x13) at today's network hash rate will earn about 600 MOTA per day, which at ICO pricing would translate to $150 / day. Jump on it now while you can what a coincidence, that's the reason I stopped gpu mining this coin... I hope for the best and success, and for them to move to other legal states, but 1.6 GH literally makes me sick when I compare 4 1080ti

is there a new wallet update or something? " Assertion failed File- main.cpp line 2068 " wont allow me to open wallet. happened overnight and caused pc to restart
Edit: nvm, I hit ignore and it asked to rebuild the blockchain. all works now

why does network weight say 6,387,409? it should be 100 times that... the one minute stake time would be nice though.

HI guys ! Where u mining Stipend now? Whats the best miner for c11? cheers !
there are 12 pools on the OP. bsod seems to be pretty popular. as for miner, i use CCminer Alexis78-ms2013-cuda7.5 for NVidia, not sure for amd. Sgminer fork I'm guessing

couldn't even wait until it hit market to exit scam. God id like to punch one of these dudes square in the balls. and then let the rest of the people who wasted their time do the same.
Did he at least had masternode auction and scamed few people on it?I am not worried about dev he will make new coin in few days and repeat the proces as long as there are fools that want to buy masternode on discord riged auctions.... yup. people dying to give their money to random, low info scammers

Blockchain stuck at block 2762?
No. It looks like difficulty spiked to 746k for some reason... then returned to normal

Anyone want to hazard a guess why my AMD 480 throws nothing but HW errors when I try to mine? using: sgminer 5.6.1
sgminer -k skein -o stratum+tcp://hash4.life:4933 -u xejQNFTWSaoiYT9uMkrPhmrHiHLLn3m7uv -p c=XDRA
Same, couldn't get mine to work either. When I did I was at 3 mh/s for 6 cards.. I assume you tried lowering the intensity?

Is staking working for any of you guys? If yes, have you have any rewards from PoS yet? what is the percentage? Thanks.
think PoS start at block 3000

I hate to say it but EVERY new coin is fked up good by Nicehash. Cant mine anything new whatsoever. yeah nicehash is a problem, but how about scam MN coins? like perhaps this one here. GOAL= get as many people to throw money at dev so they can get a MN! then lets make MN get MOST of the rewards! looks great for people who crazy enough to buy MN! they will make all the money and leave 1000's of miners with 20% *IF* coin succeeds! yeah. have fun giving away your money for a low info coin with nothing intuitive

Let's assume you are hooking up 6x 1080ti's to a system board that has 2x pci-e x16 and 4x pci-e x1 or whatever. You could plug in two cards directly, and for the other 4 are there different options other than risers?
Just trying to clarify as you say their usage can be avoided but I don't see an alternative mentioned. Thanks!
The alternative would be buying a different board. I don't know why you would buy a board that doesn't support what you plan to do with it. I understand risers have been solid for people in the past, but I've done fine just buying boards that have the amount of slots I plan to use. I guess I've just had the benefit of not being put in a position or situation where I am trying to make something work that wasn't meant to. If you buy a board and a bunch of cards that you didn't research, then I guess yeah you could use risers to fix your mistake. I just wouldn't suggest them as a first option or a priority. it is kinda hard to find a board to do 8 NVidia gpus on one pc or to do 8 nvidia and 8 amd on same pc. there are some boards with 4-6 slots and one that I know of with 8 (octominer) but risers are easy and there is a semi cheap mobo that you can hook 16+ cards to.. so having 3-4 pcs to do the job of one is a massive waste of resources/money. asus b250 mining expert. you can hook 3 separate psu's up to it for whatever combo you have in mind.

ccminer software is the only miner I know of for Motacoin but it only uses NVIDIA cards i'm using AMD, what other miner can I use ?
some version of SGminer.. here is one that does x13 but I'm not sure if its auto switching or what as I haven't looked at it and don't own amd cards atm. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0 EDIT: this one is pretty old, maybe there is more current SGminer that would be better.

I get it, you will be making a good amount of coins. problem is all the MN scams lately and everyone's main goal is to sell MN for 50-$100,000+ in BTC. then you get coins offering more and more to people brave?/stupid? enough to buy MN,Like 99% of rewards go to MN holders and only 1% to stake. and does MN get to do both? get both MN reward AND staking with same coins?? good luck to any miners.

he is saying since there is no actual exchange price, whatever figure that website has is pulling it straight out its rear end. basically false, until the market shows that those coins are worth X amount of dollars or btc. or they are just basing coin price on masternode price, divided by coins per masternode to get the per coin price. We all know as soon as it hits the market, these MN guys who have 99.9% of the stake will be dumping them and murdering the price.

didn't this coin start yesterday? how the hell is there 411,000+ stake weight? lol @ 353 days to stake. later.

yeah I read another post that said "The mining reward is going to be very small until the end of the ICO. The reward until the ICO ends is going to be 0.42 MotaCoin per block." then I saw it changes reward at block 10k in PoW table. so I guess ico will be over around the time we hit block 10k.
|
|
|
so the block rewards will increase after the ICO on 3/23 right?, not on 4/10 after launch?
