everything is fine except when i put globed getwork, it returns with the error Globe is downloading blocks. I have 8 connections but it seems like not syncing.
Hmmm just seems to be an issue with you :/ Ok i know i told you to do this before but stop cgminer and close binary. Delete everything and i mean everything including blocks folder etc just keep your globe.conf and try running the binary again. Try mining with the binary and see if it syncs if its an issue with cgminer I don't have much knowledge in that area. Mining using the one in the binary is just as good... Sorry if you still have issues should i delete the wallet as well? nvm deleted already |

kizilsakal i don't have specific information for external miners. if you are mining using the binary and see a hash your all good. you can see if you have a block with command listsinceblock
sphere i appreciate your efforts, forgive us we are not used to command line client, yet  by the way when i type listsinceblock if i see { transactions: [ ], lastblock: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx } that means i have not found any block yet, right? |

did it still can't use my miner it says downloading blocks i get hashrate when i setgenerate true 16 but not sure if it is the most efficient way. i want to see accepteds on my cgminer screen ok no problem because blocks have already been mined is probably just syncing dont worry about that. if you get a hash your all good to go. if after a couple hours you still have an issue ie 0 blocks etc than just post how do i even find out if i got a block? lol i am really low on this satoshi thing btw still telling me the same thing downloading. how do i know if i am synced or not? |

well i don't have any connections right now i only added the node what you posted. btw am able to globed getinfo now  no problem to make sure you have a connection close the binary (you can keep cmd up) and add the following line to globe.conf: addnode=81.107.45.67 also make sure you set the rpc port as shown: rpcport=8682 i have done it already at first. i am getting 1 connection in the beginning and it goes back to 0 again. |

sphere, sorry about being sceptic but i have to be i couldn't make it anyway. i configured the conf file with everything and tried to call "globed getinfo" but it only says couldn't connect to the server are you going to release a gui qt wallet soon? |

On both WinXp and Win7, a cmd prompt asks you to set an RPC password on the config file. After you do, the cmd prompt is empty and the wallet doesn't appear.
I'm destroying the virtual machines I used to test this. Doesn't smell good.
same here blocked on a simple firewall before starting it but hope this is not collecting our wallets and why even a 67 mb client after all? |

Hi all, Self-explaining topic. It is just real hard to follow all topics under Alternate cryptocurrencies and when a coin is listed under the List of all cryptocoins topic it is being kinda late. I just would like to see the new coins to be released in future which are under development right now and choose the promising ones to set up for mining right after it is released. For example a guy in another community mentioned about a new hot-prospect coin, which will have support of environmental-conscious communities and is under development right now. He never told its name or where to find information about it, I couldn't find out it on google although tried hard  I just don't want to miss when it is released and would like to know about the updates. Is there something like that? Thanks very much for the replies in advance. |

Anyone think there is gonna be some major profit taking soon? Some of you must be set to make a small fortune.
As tempting as it is to try and take profits, I know how much I am going to regret it if I sell now. This coin hasn't even begun to hit the mainstream cryptocurrency community and its potentials from its features are amazing. I refuse to sell right now, but I'm sure others will try taking profits. that feeel exactly the same reason that I will never sell my sbc stash till it hits like $5 depending on the market I may not sell even at $5 too, we'll see in time |
