My wallet appears to be working and my conf file is fine but my hashespersec=0 and according to getpeerinfo no one else is connected. getmininginfo says that it is on block 0 and difficulty=1

any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? maybe we need to add more nodes?

close the binary add following lines if not done so already:

addnode=81.107.45.67
rpcport=8682

pitops you can open a new cmd prompt and use it like a normal wallet. Once the blank binary is running open a new cmd navigate to the location of your binary once in the same folder type the name of the file in this case globed followed by a command: e.g. globed getinfo   Here are a list of all the commands : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/API_reference_(JSON-RPC). Some useful ones:

getinfo: gets you data on coin number of blocks connections etc
getmininginfo: gets you mining data hashes per secound etc
getnewaddress: gets yourself a new globe address
setgenerate true 16: starts mining Globe

hey thanks got it up and running. my next question is with getmininginfo it says 0 blocks etc, is this normal?

no problem, do command getinfo, in the section connection how many connections do you have?

it says 0 connections. i added the node in the conf file though

EDIT:it says connection 1

well i don't have any connections right now

i only added the node what you posted. btw am able to globed getinfo now  Grin

no problem Smiley to make sure you have a connection close the binary (you can keep cmd up) and add the following line to globe.conf:

addnode=81.107.45.67

also make sure you set the rpc port as shown:

rpcport=8682
i have done it already at first. i am getting 1 connection in the beginning and it goes back to 0 again.

its because its difficulty is set at 1 and gpu mining. if your seeing a hash with command getmininginfo its working Smiley and yes there are currently 0 blocks
