941  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: February 02, 2018, 03:18:44 PM
Of course. Electric vehicles will destroy the oil industry because it helps thier consumers save more by not consuming gasoline. All they have to do is to chaege thier vehicles for 5 hours max and they can use it for how many miles. It is a great invention for everyone.

Warmly welcome to the forum. I cannot give you all recommendations about what you should and should not do in the forum. In the thread, I can only recommend you several fundamental things that might help you to be faster familiar with mechanism of the forum, how to contribute, what should do to be ranked up.

1. Be eagerly to learn new things, new terms/ definitions, new knowledge, new forum's rules too. Forum rules will continuously change over time, if you cannot catch new ones, you might do wrong things which violates new rules, then bad unexpected things might come (account banned, for instance).
2. Be ready to help other new users (I be here to help you today, so when you have more knowledge, please help back to other new ones), such as going to Others > Beginners & helps board for this mindful purpose.
3. Be as constructive as possible; don't and reduce as more as possible spam threads. Those threads will make the topic like a ugly, chaotic forum; really hard to find useful threads whichwill be covered by tons of shitty posts.
4. Dont's try copying and pasting; or plagiarising. Your account will be under extremely high risks of bans (at worst, permanent bans). Please quote original posts/ authors if you take someone's ideas and put them in your posts. Respect them and protect yourself.
5. Don't indulge in buying, selling, exchanging sMerits and Merits. There are admin, moderators, and higher-qualitied users -who will eagerly to spot you if you tried to abuse/ cheat the system. Be smart and don't do that.
Hope that my thread help you have clearer general view about the foru,m, how to survive and be a useful one in the forum.
All newbies should read this thread more specialy to this comment.
945  Other / Off-topic / Re: If bitcoin goes to zero on: February 02, 2018, 05:44:33 AM
If that ever happens, the other crypto will also go down to zero since they are all dependent with bitcoin.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today was the lowest it can go, Bitcoin price expected to Rise on: February 02, 2018, 04:22:34 AM
Good news guys, I have insiders tells me today was the lowest it could ever go so expect bitcoin price to soar to the sky high from
now on. Its expected to go up to $28000 in the next 2 months.
The only thing we investors to do is to trust bitcoin. Bitcoin is decentralized remember so it cant be taken away easily since its distributed to everyone whos into cryptocurrency. Rest assured that this sea of red will recover eventualy.
947  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: February 02, 2018, 03:43:47 AM
now many altcoin, sprung up between it all there must be in the place of investing other than bitcoin, all also have the same opportunity as bitcoin all promising profit

but why do more choose bitcoin as the place they invest?
Bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrencies thats why some still prefers as thier main investment option.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: February 02, 2018, 02:49:23 AM
How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

I think buying coins when ico is more profitable because you will get some bonus tokens.
while when the coin enter your exchanger will not get any bonus.
Not all Ico is profitable, be carefull on which one you are investing to because you might end up losing everything in 1 snap.
949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DIP BITCOIN on: February 02, 2018, 02:46:02 AM

950  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: February 01, 2018, 12:42:07 PM
I will reply on your Jan 30 2018 update since your observation is true that most users just copy and paste message just to level up. Whats your main goal in posting btctalk? Your rank shows that you have been an active and a loyal member of this forum for many years maybe. But for what? At the end of the day it still boils down to one reason, that is to make money. Everyone here in this forum are welcome to join I guess. So that we could learn from each other, mostly you high ranking members since you people have more knowledge with crypto. Maube bitcoin is useless for you but for us it brings us new hope that there is still a way for us to find better financial options and that is through bitcoin.
951  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: February 01, 2018, 11:35:33 AM
If you refuse to pay tax you are tax evader and you will get imprisoned. Better follow the rules of your house if you are still not sble to stand up on your own.

953  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN crash on: January 31, 2018, 06:49:07 AM
let me remind you of this, that this is not the first time bitcoin has crashed very significantly and is not the worst of it all. (correct me if i'm wrong) Based on bitcoin history, crashes occur on:

2011 jun- Nov: -97%---> From $ 32 to $ 2
2012 jan - Aug: -36%---> From from $ 7 to $ 4
2013 Mar 6 -11: -25%---> From $ 49 to $ 36
2013 Apr 10: -79%---> From $ 266 to $ 54
2014 Feb 24: -49%---> From $ 867 to $ 439
2017 jun 11-16: -36%---> From $ 3,000 to $ 1.869
2017 Sept 2-15: -40%---> From $ 5,000 to $ 2,972
2018 Jan 17: -48%---> From $ 19,783 to $ 9,496

If viewed from history, crashes often happen every year since 2011 and proved that this year is not the worst year of the year - the year before. What do you think, whether this crash will continue or not?
How i wish I already knew bitcoin in 2011. I  should be rich by now.
954  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: *** REBELLIOUS SCAM ALERT** on: January 31, 2018, 02:23:16 AM
Too much fud in this thread. Your accusation is pointless and has no basis at all.

956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: January 30, 2018, 04:15:51 AM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!
Hold for the mean time. They will increase thier value overtime. Thise coins are still under appreciated thats why they have a low value.
957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallets? on: January 30, 2018, 12:17:38 AM

958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is 1 bitcoin worth? on: January 29, 2018, 10:51:59 PM
Bitcoin WAS worth 1 million Philippine pesos more than a month ago. It's currently down to $11,773.90(approx ₱590,000). You can check the prices via sites like coinmarketcap[1] or livecoinwatch[2]. Cryptocurrencies are very volatile. Prices are expected to rise and crash a lot; and mostly unexpectedly.

[1] https://coinmarketcap.com/
[2] https://www.livecoinwatch.com/

I checked coinmarketcap.com and it seems it is a reliable site. I also found a mobile app and seems legit so I downloaded it.
