1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: █▓▒░-< [ZPOOL.CA][BTC Multipool] The miners multipool >-░▒▓█ Paid 830+ BTC on: September 01, 2016, 03:21:12 PM
Hello,
For last few months I have been connecting with a ASICMiner Block Erupter CUBE through a mining proxy.  It stopped getting work yesterday.  Has anything changed?

Currently getting from pool:
Connected to Stratum pool at sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333
Subscribing for mining jobs
Connection to upstream pool timed out sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333
Disconnected from Stratum pool at sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333
0 peers connected, state changed 1 times
1 peers connected, state changed 1 times

.......repeats over and over.

Thank you

Windows wallet says "0 active connection(s) to cosmic network".

Any ideas to get it to connect?

addnode=70.72.236.5
addnode=149.56.20.223
addnode=69.204.176.145
addnode=104.172.24.79

Made cosmic.conf file and added it to ComputerUserName/AppData/Roaming/cosmic folder then added nodes.
Got it working.  Catching up now.

Fake software or does what they say it will?

https://asicminersoft.com/product/asic-usb-miner/
Mines at over 20-30GH/s and with 3 sticks close to 100GH/s

I had thought usb asic's were made to mine at a set speed and could not be changed without modding the boards.
I would think the software is fake, but thought I would post for more thoughts.

Couldn't find a post on this, but if there is just point me to it.
Thanks for replies.

Was watching the same story on CNBC TV and Bitcoin prices dropping at the same time.
Isn't a lot of the hardware made in China?  Hopefully they will be able to continue to accept bitcoin for payment of hardware.

I sold some bitcoins for USD on Mt Gox around Oct 24, 2013.  I had not received the funds 4 weeks later so I wrote them.  Took 4 days to get this reply back from them.

Nancy, Nov 25 15:41 (JST):

Dear xxxxxx ,

Thank you for the email and sorry for the delay in response.

Due to a change in our banking system we are currently experiencing a back-log of withdrawals that we need to process. Our team is working hard to increase transaction speeds, but there are back-logs we need to overcome. Sorry that we would not be able to provide ETA at the moment

Again, we apologize for the delay and we will contact you once your withdrawal has been processed.

Best regards,

Mt.Gox Team

As of today Dec. 5th I still have not received the funds from Mt. Gox.  I'm thinking about trying bitstamp next unless someone has something bad to say about them.  At this point I'm willing to take a little less in trade for speed.
