Because a properly managed altcoin can give tremendous growth in the form of several hundred percentage over a very short period of time. This is very unlikely in case of other form of conventional investments. Investment in altcoin is sometimes considered as the shortest way to getting rich. However, investment in altcoin should always be done after proper research and understanding of the process.

Yes, it is Ripple. Centralized currency that might become very successful due to tight involvement with banks and cross-border payments for financial institutions; banks and companies like Western Union and Moneygram (who they are currently working with) as customers customers. Bitcoin was the first cryptocoin currency ever invented. I dont know exactly who created it – cryptocurrencies are designed for maximum anonymity – but bitcoins first appeared in 2009 from a developer supposedly named Satoshi Nakamoto. He has since disappeared and left behind a Bitcoin fortune.

You can use your bitcoins to purchase goods and services online, or you can tuck them away and hope that their value increases over the years.

Ethereum had 40* growth rate over last 2 years.It is a decentralized platform that runs smart contracts:application that runs exactly as programmed without any possibility of downtime,censorship,fraud or any third party interface.Ethereum have incresed a lot in recent mont and i am sure that its value will keep increasing.I think the only cryptocurrency that has the ability to overtake Bitcoin is Etherum in my view so it is worh to invest on Etherum.

Favourite Altcoins of mine:
Ethereum: Ethereum is best option. They are still waiting for commercial app built on Ethereum platform. Once they have a success story, Ethereum will shoot to the moon.
Litecoin: It is one of the best performing currency this year
Monero: Well, it’s privacy king and will be.

When it comes to Tron (TRX) I lean towards the perspective that it is not a good investment. Their white paper also seems to lack detail in some portions and really plays upon buzzwords rather than technical strength

Everything is cheaper, but not everything has potential. Here's the coins that I will buy and why:
Cardano: Great team with alot of experience from ETH and ETC. They are focusing on a long term approach and real life use cases. Some pros with them are that they'll soon release nano s support, their team is massive and them peer reviewing everything which reduces uncertainty. They also focus hwavily on scaling, and since they havent released the entire product it is easier to improve the protocol as opposed to when it's up and running like Eth for example. Cons are that the investment is mostly based on the belief of the team delivering in the future. I've researched the team and I feel comfortable trusting them in the long run.
ETH: Great smart contract platform that is already up and running. It has alot of scaling solutions being worked on right now. More and more successful ICOs are getting based on ETH. The devcon they had a few weeks back gained alot of attention from developers which is a very good sign.
