NATIVE OverClocking NVIDIA Driver Version 416.34
Anyone notice that while using this feature the gpu core will be throttled well before the fans move to 100%. Example
Set Temp limit to 65c fan speed auto. AM will maintain that temp. Gpu Fan will speed will not go up to 100% because temp is maintained due to throttling Core.
If I move fan speed to 100% remove auto fan Gpu core goes back up and drastically improves hash rate. (20%-30% improvement)
Maybe Im missing something please let me know if I am.
AMD clocking is great because it has the fan target temp and temp Limit
I do not have that problem. Native OC is perfect for me. What drivers are you using? what are you describing is not a bug, it's meant to be that way with NVIDIA GPUs. the temp limit sets the max temperature for a GPU, after reaching that temp the core will throttle, but it does not affect the fan curve in any way. maybe some day Awesome Miner will have its own fan control with desired fan speed/temp tables or curves, but for now you should disable automatic fan speed and set your fans to 90-100%, or use MSI Afterburner to set your custom fan curve. @patrike besides that I would suggest adding core voltage lock to NVIDIA clocking profiles. that should be easy to implement, with just one NvAPI call. also I've found a bug with native OC on mixed AMD/NVIDIA rigs - in my case, when applying the profiles for AMD GPUs, some of them like fan speed, fan mode and power limit are applied to NVIDIAs as well. Thank you I figured it was normal and I have been using AB just for the fan curve but hoping this can be addressed so we dont need AB. As for amd I notice odd behavior if using latest drivers and have resorted back to ONTool on those rigs. But my AMD w driver 18.6.1 seem good. thanks for clarification.

Maybe this is already possible I looked but only saw the ability to change to BTC exclusively.
Thanks

Integration - Updates to how Grin (CuckaRoo29, CuckaToo31) revenue is calculated User interface - Updated tooltip information for the buttons in the status bar to include more details - Added additional coin buttons in the status bar - Updated coin images Mining software - Gminer 1.31 Corrections - Correction to benchmarking where x16rt wasn't included correctly To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates Direct download links http://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msihttp://www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMinerRemoteService.msi @Patrike First off this is a huge + for AM Thank you. Scenario. I have several Rigs that require unique settings per card. Presently using OverdriveNtoool w .bat file. I see you can set each card individually but how would I achieve multiple OC/Voltage settings from a profile standpoint? Another suggestion is if you used the latest beta of OverdriveNtool they added a grat feature for fan controls not as good as a custom curve but very effective possibly this could be added or looked at as an addition. Basically you have fan settings for 4 temps w a % so it could be like 50c=50% 60c=70% 65c=85% 70c=100% both the temp and the percentage are adjustable. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/overdriventool-tool-for-amd-gpus.416116/page-23Link to the beta download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ibxcdlrgkm82ccg/OverdriveNTool%200.2.8beta1.7z?dl=1Thank you for an "AWESOME" program

@Patrike
Profit Switch Rules ? Is it possible to switch to a pool right after they found block? Scenario: Set up multiple pools same coin. Switch to pool that just found Block. Mine that pool for a minimum fixed time then switch to next pool that finds block.
Thanks

Any Instructions on how to use google Drive for auto download of miner software. The link generated by drive is not.zip even though the file is. @Patrike
I configured the shared link to auto download and it works but Awesome miner is not finding the miner. Any info anyone please.
I just want this for all the miners that are not on git hub or should I say that are on mega.
Thanks

why no integrated Support of JCE GPU Miner?
it is great for all CN algo - best for CN Heavy
pls!
It might be supported if it's a popular mining software to use. I've not really had a change to look into it yet to see how much it differs from their CPU miner. within the same level with SRB and Teamredminer at any cn algo TIA Yes, the performance will be faster. I was more thinking of the difference in how you configure it compared to the JCE CPU miner. Like different command line arguments and so on. Would it for example work to select JCE CPU Miner and instead of auto-download, point it to the GPU miner instead? i dont hitnk so...different versions...but...he is very active at his own thread here...maybe ask him?! he will for sure be happy to help integrate his GPU version = more incoming for him I use JCE GPU version with auto download works great. Have to add the software thats it can you please tell me how to manage the config.txt that jce used within awesome miner? PN would be nice THX @nordmann666 Cant PM newbies so ill post it here Not sure if you use remote miners, or local (same machine AM is installed on). All my miners are remote. shouldnt matter much either way. You need to navigate to the AM folder that the mining software is located in. If auto downloaded it should be C:\Users\#YOUR_USER#\AppData\Roaming\AwesomeMinerService Then locate the config.txt file and update it as needed. Now in AM go to manage miner properties>command line> in the code box "Parameters to mining software" need to add -c config.txt Thats assuming you keep the config.txt file the same name as it is. I create several for testing and just change the names as you will see in my screen shot its -c config944.txt This rig in mining CN_Haven average about 1150 per gpu RX570 8gb

Hello, Findings on 3.7 TRM 3.6 Stable on 6 Rigs since release Auto config. Just tried 3.7 on 1 Rig Its 6 GPUS 3-RX5808GB 1-RX5804gb and 2-RX570 8GB. I set the 4gb card to 7+7 and removed all OC and undervolt so card is running w stock clocks and voltages. The same card runs just fine on 3.6 w OC and undervolt. https://imgur.com/a/xe6Reww

Hello,
Run Batch commands before starting miner HELP. I am trying to run a OverdriveN Tool batch file to set OC and voltage. The file runs perfectly on the machine if i launch it. But when i try from Managed Miner Properties>batch Commands>Execute additional commands before starting the mining software. It appears to open and close the .bat never allowing it to complete and apply the OC Profiles. I must need some type of wait command. My command C:\Users\XXXX\Desktop\OverdriveN\RUNONT.bat
Thanks.
@Patrike
Did you forget to specify the full path to your .exe in the bat file? Windows doesn't magically know where your exe is. Or you could add this to the top of your .bat file (if your .exe is in the same folder): cd %~dp0 That did it thank you.

Vega owners, check your hotspot temps. My Vega didnt survive the night mining v8 even when I dropped the core to 1250@865mV And a big fat F U to Monero devs
Over the night SRBMiner reset every cca 2 hours, ONE Vega 56 (gpu 0) drop hash to 0 and reset. And that is after I changed power and intensity. Try more mV on core and memory to see the result. Now testing OverdriveNtool: Problematic card Vega 56 reference: [Profile_0] Name=Sapphire GPU_P0=852;900 GPU_P1=991;900;0 GPU_P2=1084;900;0 GPU_P3=1138;900;0 GPU_P4=1150;900;0 GPU_P5=1202;900;0 GPU_P6=1212;905;0 GPU_P7=1407;950 Mem_P0=167;900;0 Mem_P1=500;900;0 Mem_P2=800;900;0 Mem_P3=1050;950 Fan_Min=3350 Fan_Max=4900 Fan_Target=75 Fan_Acoustic=2400 Power_Temp=85 Power_Target=0 Other Vega 56 reference: [Profile_3] Name=Gigabyte GPU_P0=852;900 GPU_P1=991;900;0 GPU_P2=1084;900;0 GPU_P3=1138;900;0 GPU_P4=1150;900;0 GPU_P5=1202;900;0 GPU_P6=1212;905;0 GPU_P7=1407;950 Mem_P0=167;900;0 Mem_P1=500;900;0 Mem_P2=800;900;0 Mem_P3=1095;950 Fan_Min=3350 Fan_Max=4900 Fan_Target=75 Fan_Acoustic=2400 Power_Temp=85 Power_Target=0 I cant get my P3 near that high any higher and I get compute errors. @Patrike
Looks like miningpool hub online services using algo V7 and now profit profile switching to MPH XMR and resulting in rejected shares.
|
|
|
Ok I got it Options>Statistics Providers>Override coin algorithms>Configure Coin, XMR, algo, CryptonightV8
|
|
|
CN V2 or V8 has forked. XMR listed as CN7 please update.
@Patrike
Also I think the SRB you have on auto download is not the most recent version of 1.6.8. When you download the recent version its to large to upload to remote miner(larger than 100mb) so has to be done on remote miner.
Just an FYI
