I like the general consensus that fossil fuels are as infinite and bountiful as bit ion,all you guys will all be running rigs on reuseables in a generation, unless of course old money and it's chokehold are required to power your currency, bit coin miners are very glib about power whilst stroking their testacles(or clitorus) about their perceived wealth.
Could the original poster get in touch, some of us have vision, posted a solar question recently plenty of views, not an ounce of advice, let's talk dude Wink

As a newcomer i feel off topic means everything else within the realms of perceptive reality?
Bits coin research info can tax the brain a tad and the people therein
Just let it roll,I'm billy meiers love child but wouldn't shout about it Wink

4  Other / Off-topic / Re: My next door neighbour continually smokes weed every 2-3 hours in his garden... on: December 04, 2013, 08:59:47 PM
And it's doing my fucking head in. I have nothing against weed and am in fact pro-drugs, but this shit fucking reeks and often makes me feel sick. It's complete schwag weed and he continually coughs his guts up pretty much every-time he smokes it from 6 in the morning to midnight. He coughs so violently that I've heard him puke several times. My windows are always shut yet it still gets in and smells vile. What do I do? If I ask him to stop doing it, I doubt he will. Do I threaten him with the police if he refuses? I don't want to do that, but this shit is making me feel physically sick, especially when he barfs. He lives with his grandad who has hated me since I was a child. He even attacked me on one occasion for no reason what-so-ever. I don't mind his grandson smoking it as long as I can't smell it or hear him. He also has a 1-2-year-old girl and often leaves her in the house whilst he goes outside to smoke. I can hear her crying and screaming whilst he's outside. He's a stupid skinny degenerate thieving Jeremy Kyle reject chav. I also believe I could kick the living shit out of him if it came to it, but I'm a pacifist and will only fight if I'm attacked and there's no other options.

And who the fuck actually gets addicted to weed? I mean seriously.

Wut do? Please advise.
i also believe I could kick the living shit out of him, pacifists r us,fucktard!
5  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Ashamed to be a bitcoiner – Bitcoin Expo London on: December 04, 2013, 12:33:28 PM
OP; I have to ask.. wtf are you talking about?

People being rude by not allowing people to pass.. genuine gripe.  A speaker disregarding the other speakers whose slot he is infringing upon, genuine gripe.

People cheering 1000 silk roads.. that is not a genuine gripe.  If you are excited about bitcoin for no reason other than it has, and will continue to, make you fat fiat profits.. then you are in the minority among the true believers; and history will be the judge of your convictions.

People embrace bitcoin not just because it is "sound money" *per se*; but because of the ramifications of sound money.  Those stinky neckbeards you love to hate, they see something you have apparently missed: many aspects of the state are evil (including, quite loudly, the so called 'war on drugs').

Not because I think it is the most important example, but because you specifically bring it up and it is just oh-so-easy to destroy, the inevitable '1000 silk roads' is a direct result of a combination of lobbies and facist, religiously-inspired legislation that does nothing but harm to everyone other than the government agencies which are granted power to enforce such legislation; as well as profit for the check-writers for said lobbyists.

Is heroin itself bad?  Maybe.. Is heroin addiction bad?  Clearly.  What about marijuana, should that be illegal too, Mr. Nostink? Has elevinty billion dollars and some of the most powerful government agencies in the world done a single iota to stop heroin addiction, or heroin distribution?  No.

They have done one thing: consolidated the absolutely inevitable suppliers for this free market demand into cartels.  They have increased risk to drug addicts by an order of magnitude since they get neither government nor legal free-market oversight to verify the purity of their drugs; and they source them from dangerous situations.  They have increased prices by an orders of magnitude, leaving addicts not only high, but desperately broke.. unable to get themselves out of a hole which surely only further triggers the underlying neurosis that is leading them to addiction in the first place.

i was with you, for a minute; a bunch of stinky neck-beards being geeky and self-important. It's annoying, I can see.  It doesn't rub me personally, but I can see how a stick-in-the-butt but otherwise genuine figure could be turned off by it.

But getting pissed off that people are bringing up anarchism at a fucking bitcoin conference?  You have to be out of your mind.  Anarcho-capitalism?  Heard of that?  Any non-gutter-punk pseudo intellectual or better that even feigns to promote 'anarchism' is fundamentally assuming that commerce will continue to happen among a bunch of self-interested actors.  Are you so completely removed?

We need a revolution.  We need a revolution for the exact reason that we need bitcoin.  Wealth continues to be concentrated in the hands of the few that are closest to the fountain-of-cash known as central banks; while the middle class shrinks and billions continue to live in poverty.  "Capitalism" is simply freedom.  Freedom to transact and trade capital for one's best interest.  God forbid people recognize the blindingly-obvious fact that power is currently almost entirely in the hands of those that go beyond their own freedom to transact, but shape society and law to restrict others from doing so.

You've received a lot of support and agreement, well of course.  Probably half from anti-bitcoin circle jerkers; as well as other short-sighted fools like yourself.  Look here, in this thread, up until this post and past it; look at your article submitted to /r/bitcoin.  Read the comments.  Go on pretending that the bitcoin community agrees with you; if you can handle the mental dissonance--you seem upto the task.

Viva la resitance!
hear hear my friend,I had a similar story to tell at bilderberg in Watford this year, but all press were shit scared to film it,fear of a spanking that's coming i feel, for those inside the grove this year, long time coming, bitcoin could be inert deflection, worlds mad, lets not change it to much, its interesting?
6  Bitcoin / Mining / Solar powered rigs on: December 04, 2013, 09:49:33 AM
Anyone really moving forward 'independently?'
Power cuts stop everybody and everything, bitcoins main flaw, and I find the lack of respect for where the energy comes from a trifle annoying,I've done some maths but I'm sure there's some real experts out there already mining with free nuclear star power, the bitcoin is still so last century in that respect, but in the next with its ethos?
I'm interested in building a mid range project in the uk somewhere with a team,if anyone's running a renewable system please send pics!
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin Conspiracy on: December 04, 2013, 09:22:52 AM
Might being the operative word, from my study of the financial system on earth, this now has a corruptive force with buying power and friends in high places unlike most of us,the new tech streaming in will move goalposts very quickly, they know this,my big problem is with tech and supply, which is all standard monopolised control,if you think the three private firms that strangulate growth, equality, and control everything bar the rotation of the planet are not involved heavily think again,my brother is a bit of a kiddy for rbs here in the uk,last time we met he lied like a motherfucker to my face about it,his brother dude?
And they love the fact that we need shitloads of lets burn more dead plants for power electricity, further impacting our scar on the planet, this system at present is totally dependent on the shitty existing structure in place, but I'm an optimist dude so I'm in!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin Conspiracy on: December 04, 2013, 08:49:36 AM
How can bitcoin control itself if,how many of the new ASIC miners are going in a big shed somewhere cold,to be run hard by a federal reserve, all new technology is open to mass purchase anonymously with bitcoin, its pluses are also its minuses, but as unknowing as yourself, beats the fucking shit out of watching X factor!
9  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 100 GH/S? on: December 04, 2013, 08:25:51 AM
I really want a bitcoin miner and the cheapest I have found is a black arrow Prospero X-1 that does 100GH/S. It may be able to be overclocked to 128 GH/S. But it ships end of February 2014. Should I pre order?
i a newbie myself so my opinion stands for very little but this is still capitalism in its purest form no matter how much fluffy harmonic resonance is spouted, its a microcosm,Machiavellian, but in its favour it is not a private body, but the ASIC chip manufacturers are a cartel in a so called free market,so be very careful bro,me personally I'm sat with funds and there staying put until there's some parity in the system, and that may change, let's just hope it's not a prototype electronic monetary unit for the matrix
10  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Butterflylabs Huge SCAM on: December 03, 2013, 10:54:28 PM
I myself was VERY excited about those BFL SC things (http://www.butterflylabs.com/products/), but it sounded too good to be true. I was one step before pre-ordering the Mini Rig 'SC' for just $30k, which could deliver 1TH/s (update -> 1.5 TH/s according to the website now!). You know what? Bullshit.

Is butterfly labs mining with those ASICs at the moment? (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=110290.0)
Hell no! Do you see some huge raise in hashing power? No.
Would it be beneficial to mine on their own devices? Hell yes! More than just selling them.

If circumstantial evidence isn't enough, try simple business logic.  The price is set at $149 for a 3500MH/s chip. At current prices, they would make $149 after about 10.8 days of mining!  So why doesn't Butterfly Labs just run them for 10.8 days instead of selling them?  Then they'd have $149 and the chips lol.  I mean seriously, read those last 2 sentences again, people.  You think they're not mining with them?  I can't be the only one that realizes this.  From a business perspective, if you had an investment that would pay off 200% in a month and you sell it off instead, you're a crazy person.

You know the true reason why they are not mining with them? They can't. They don't have them.

But they have already proven legit! They fullfiled the orders and delivered FPGAs!
Sure they have. Gained your trust. And will take them back. And you will pay even more. You will loose your working FPGAs and also money. Huge money.

Trade in terms: Qualifying trade in for upgrades can be either an older generation Mini Rig or 25 older generation Singles. Once your new rig is ready for delivery (currently scheduled for November), you'll be notified to ship your trade in units to us. Upon receipt we'll release your new Mini Rig SC for shipment to you.

They still could have runned before..
They could, but why would they? Establish trust. Then run away.
They could have stolen $1M.

Now they have $30M and the hardware. Many of you fell for it.
