Just got funded at Bitstamp and ready to go! Much larger than my usual transactions so I want to get best deal possible. What price are you guys going for? Was thinking $402.26 but even lower would be most agreeable Once it gets near 402, you will chicken out and remove your bids.

+250,000 top by 2016 according to that chart as well. That insane trend applying to 2013 bitcoin is long gone.

i think we won't see sub-400 again.
People said the same thing in March/early April...

Bitfinex is in Hong Kong. Chinese, basically.
Their main office is in Hong Kong, but it's run by a bunch of French guys and most of their customers are Westerners. Sort of like Mt.Gox being more 'Western' than 'Asian'..
I would bet my bottom dollar that this goes down on Bitfinex. Insiders only of course.
Chinese exchanges like Huobi are more likely to be doing this as using BTC exchanges as 'banks'/wallets is more common in China than the West. It must be really tempting for Huobi operators to short sell dormant coins on insider news.

These charts contradict your statement.
How do they contradict my statement? August 2013 looked far more bullish on moving averages and RSI. Current indicators are looking weak as hell.
This is starting to feel like when it was stuggling to get back over 100 agust last year. I am as miserable.
Most long term indicators (moving averages, RSI etc) are far more bearish this time. It is not really comparable to august 2013.
I dont care much about the exact price, but I do find it interesting to see what the market is doing (showing strength/weakness, chart patterns etc).

I'm more for mBTC. The value (now) is very usefull. I think it would be good if the name mBTC would be changed to something better (like for example bits ) That would only lead to more confusion in the future as the bit name has to be changed again and again... Better just go super low from the get go. Also, it would give bitcoin the dogecoin ´millionaire´ effect making people use bitcoin more often.
Bits obviously..
It would get rid of this annoying bitcoin is ´too expensive´ argument
It is cheaper to get fiat on bitstamp than on btc-e which has deposit fees. Hence, more buying pressure on bitstamp relative to btc-e.

No one gives a crap about China anymore. There are no more weak hands left.
The problem is not more Chinese dumps, but the lack of fresh Chinese money to sustain an uptrend to the moon.

It's all priced in. Look at the 2 year charts. We are at the bottom.
Chinese exchanges still have access to some banks. PBOC vs Chinese exchanges Whac A Mole aint over.

i can't wait for sub 1000$ gold
sorry gold bugs.
its going down!
It was possible a few months ago but it is smelling the end game for all the price manipulation on Gold by the FED and Wall Street When it will go up it will go up aggressively, don't miss the train Look at the 1980s-90s Gold charts, countless of weak bull traps before the actual bottom many years later. What if this happens again..

If it breaks this upper support line to the downside, things dont look pretty:
FinCEN is not China. They don't change their mind back and forth every day like the Chinese do.
The PBOC has never flipped flopped on their December notice. It was clear from the beginning that banks could not deal with Chinese bitcoin businesses. Chinese exchange owners are the cause for the uncertainty.

What the fu*k does this have to do with me selling my house?
Some dude on bitcointalk sold his parents' house for BTC. He's currently significantly underwater.

I have an idea in my mind but am not sure yet. Thinking about sending my last bit of cash to stamp because I have a feeling we will see that 340 again soon and then it will shoot up to 500 again Shorting Bitcoin, risky business. He's temporarily going long USD, he isn't shorting.

ok I stopped watching his video when he kept using this chart that began in late 2011 and he guessed that the high in 2011 was $11.
He is aware of Mt.Gox's longer price history and has charted it before, but it's not available on tradingview anymore. For sake of convenience during the lecture he chose that random spot on bitstamp to point out elliott waves. It was not meant as the literal early wave and has no influence on further analysis.
