81  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Mining with the 5750 on: August 31, 2011, 07:02:46 PM
PowerColor Go Green 6750 (should be simliar to 5750).

875/300. stock voltage. 181mh/s (tried to OC to 925 and it crashed).

best thing is: it's fanless and only draws power from PCI-E interface (so no 6PIN power connector needed). Well, I have a case fan blowing it at it to keep the temp at around 64C.
82  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 27, 2011, 04:04:04 AM
The fact that this is still in stock, after some people bought 8 of them, is probably not a good thing. Now more hashing power will be added to the network and you know what to expect from a difficulty change...
83  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Too Late to Join the Party? on: August 27, 2011, 12:54:46 AM
Never too late to try, especially when the subject is bitcoin.
Today he is worth 10, tomorrow could be worth 100.

 Wink

or worth 0.1
84  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 27, 2011, 12:25:41 AM
I put in the order, then cancelled it. Not really worth it as I can't be sure what's the final bitcoin price will be stable at.
85  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: HD5970 new in stock newegg 499$ ! on: August 26, 2011, 08:05:46 AM
I also checked for codes and got an extra 10 bucks off so shipping was also free.........looks like the order shipped within the last hour as well.

Where do you get free shipping code for newegg? Thanks.
86  Economy / Goods / [WTS] DIRT 3 coupon code on: August 26, 2011, 01:30:01 AM
1 BTC OBO.

PS, I don't have any heatware refs. I only sold one of my 3 5830s before with this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=33627.0 (And yes, I'm still selling the rest 2 but not in a hurry)

I hope you get fired. You waste more company's electricity money than your own personal gain.
88  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Ufasoft Miner Thread - SSE2-optimized for Intel CPUs, version 0.19 (2011-July) on: August 09, 2011, 04:28:01 PM
Considering ufasoft hasn't released the new source and the recent virus warnings, i would start thinking that he is the one spreading the botnet.

He was asked many times in this thread and he just ignored the requests(didn't even bother answering). I don't really need the source, but if he is spreading the botnet, it's very likely the current exe to be "infected" as well.
Well it's not very nice to make stataments like that based on nothing, i'll analyze it tonight to see if there it's any backdoor in it even if i don't really beleive that.
Thank you. In today's world, it's better to trust nobody (rather error in the cautious side). I might be too paranoid that I end up reinstall my os lol

90  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: August 08, 2011, 05:00:53 AM
I''l set them at penalty 0.07 for a bit.. that will make me mine them till they hit 620%
that is nearly a full 100% and i feel that should be more than enough

You are the guy who blamed me for killing polar bears with mining. So you yourself just killing them more efficiently by pool hopping? Lol
91  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [400 GH/s 0% fee SMPPS] ArsBitcoin mining pool! Come join us! on: August 07, 2011, 05:20:50 AM

92  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Sapphire 5830 for $100 plus shipping on: August 07, 2011, 02:51:40 AM
Lowering the price as everybody who is selling 5830 has done that. $100 worth of BTC (shipping INCLUDED)
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy back in! on: August 07, 2011, 01:03:15 AM
So the strategy here is to sell low and buy high. Sounds like a winning plan!

Sounds like some people have...

I've been watching people sell low all weekend.

Are you the guy who claimed (or was confident) BTC will go back to $14 SOON a couple weeks ago? Save your money and don't catch a falling knife.
94  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Who's excited about the difficulty drop? on: August 07, 2011, 12:56:38 AM
It's still profitable, at least for most people in US paying 11 cents per watt. I see no reason to stop mining.

Shut your mouth and besides you are making global warming worse.  Will someone please think of the polar bears.

stop mining you are killing him

Sorry for killing your bear. If I don't mine, I'll have to sell the cards and somebody else will probably kill your bear as well LOL
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN JUST HIT 7.77 on: August 07, 2011, 12:38:56 AM
6.66 hit and even lower.
96  Economy / Goods / Re: FS: 3x Sapphire 5830 $280 shipped on: August 07, 2011, 12:38:05 AM

98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Want to save Bitcoin? Here's how YOU can help. on: August 07, 2011, 12:24:58 AM
If you want to see examples in the market, go look at LEXG, CCME, SPNG.

Excellent examples. BTW, shorted LEXG and took a 50% profit in 2 days.

100  Bitcoin / Mining / hashing rate stats of major pools on: August 06, 2011, 10:37:25 PM
deepbit: 5426 Gh/s
slush: 1845.487 Ghash/s
btcguild: 2192.55 GH/s

they're probably down slightly (especially slush as I remember it was over 2000 Ghs last week). So it means at current price ($7.4), most miners still find it's profitable, or most think it'll bounce.
