61  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin go under regulation on: August 10, 2018, 02:33:52 AM
Many government are seeing Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a threat to their financial system and they think it should be regulated to solve the problem. Do you think they can regulate Bitcoin ?
I hope so that bitcoin will go to government regulations and this is for the benefit for all the people who get involve in cryptocurrency. There are many benefits that government could offer through regularization of cryptocurrency. One of it is the registration of ICO for the team that which acknowledge the project behind and these could minimize the possible scam activities.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: August 09, 2018, 07:47:00 AM

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

For e.g

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

It is good to buy ETH now where market price is relatively cheaper compared to last month or previous month of crypto market price. If you still had a money and eyeing for investment now is the right time to do it. Just be patience with it because as we all know that it could undergone some rough times like the market price fall down.
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Community Is Now Dominated by Speculators Not Criminals!! on: August 08, 2018, 09:18:34 AM
Currently, the ratio of legal to illegal activity on the bitcoin network has completely changed trend as the former surpasses the former. This was stated by DEA Agent Lilita Infante at the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration.

Is the number of criminals on the bitcoin network has significantly reduced compared to early days?

https://coinpedia.org/news/bitcoin-network-speculators-not-criminals/
yes this is 100 Percent true that the dominance here in the bitcoin community is not the criminals or whatsoever groups that has been joining on the forum or community. As i have always see some threads and comments that is purely more on like speculations that will going to happen in bitcoin. But all of these speculations are not assurance.
64  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Someone could create a two way factor digital wallet? on: August 07, 2018, 09:45:05 AM
I like the idea that every time you do a transfer on your digital wallet to another digital wallet a two way factor should be indicated thus it will notify the owner if there is any transactions to be made so as to secure more the digital wallet being held. I wish that this is already applied on some digital wallets and if there is any please comment on the thread and i will checked on it. This will minimize hackers to hack digital wallet.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Breaking] World’s Biggest Stock Exchange Operator is Launching a Bitcoin Market on: August 07, 2018, 06:42:42 AM
At least some thing positive news about Bitcoin.
News from CCN....  World’s Biggest Stock Exchange Operator is Launching a Bitcoin Market

Quote from CCN
Quote
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), has announced that will list a physically-settled bitcoin futures contracts and form a new company whose mission is to make bitcoin a mainstream financial asset.

Quote from CCN
Quote
ICE made the groundbreaking announcement on Friday, revealing that the new platform — Bakkt — has been developed in partnership with a variety of blockbuster names, including Microsoft, Starbucks, and BCG.

Bakkt will integrate with the ICE’s U.S. futures market and clearinghouse to list a physically-settled one-day bitcoin futures product, complete with physical warehousing managed in-house by ICE. This product will launch in November, pending regulatory approval.

"The bitcoin price saw moderate bump in the hours following the announcement, rising as high as $7,503 on Bitfinex after dipping as far as $7,282 earlier in the day."
at least in this thread we can say that bitcoin or cryptocurrency is really helpful and good for the digital development of a certain country as this is the evidence that cryptocurrency is being adapted and accepted. Well we still could not confirm also as there were many FUDSTER's also around this forum.
66  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No women in Bitcoin you say? on: August 07, 2018, 04:05:42 AM
But the biggest fuck-up of all: Lightning Network / Lightning Labs is led by Elizabeth Stark.  If you like train wrecks, get Elizabeth to lead us there.

You can see for yourself how Lightning works...

No not really because if you will check in every telegram channel for crypto there are too many girls hanging around on the telegram channel. You can also check the way they made a conversation which is soft unlike us boys do rude comments on telegram channel.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't worry, Bitcoin will be fine. on: August 06, 2018, 09:30:53 AM
why does everyone start to panicking when they see the price of Bitcoin dropping so much, in my opinion it is natural that the price of Bitcoin falls because Bitcoin has experienced the same thing as now, so I suggest not to be afraid and panic.

we will see from this graphic :
1. On April 29, 2013 the price of Bitcoin was only $ 135.30

2. and on November 30, 2013 the price of Bitcoin increase high at the price of $ 1,149.14

3. then on January 2, 2014 the price of Bitcoin decreased at a price of $ 773.40 and on December 31, 2016 the price of Bitcoin began to increase again

4. and the price of Bitcoin began to rise high at the price of $ 19,783.30 on the 17th of December 2017

and as we know, now the price of Bitcoin at $ 6,948.46 and this is indeed down very far compared to prices on December 17, 2017, but it has already happened in 2014 where the price of Bitcoin dropped very far and it continues until 2016 and in 2017 finally Bitcoin prices start to increase again (it takes around 3 years to make Bitcoin prices rise). so from that, I'm sure the price of Bitcoin will increase again even though the time needed is not short.

So meaning that history will going to repeat itself and there is a huge probability that bitcoin market price for 2018 would even beat the highest market price for bitcoin on 2017. As we all know that bitcoin has been operating on almost a decade and it this process was being seen that history are repeating yearly. In this way the thread shows that there is nothing to worry about to what happen bitcoin nowadays and i strongly agree with it.
68  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard now ready to join the Crypto game on: August 06, 2018, 08:57:25 AM
Mastercard is getting into the crypto game. It's patented "a method that would manage 'fractional reserves of blockchain currency Eventually, this patent will allow Mastercard users to buy and pay for goods with bitcoin instead of dollars and other forms of fiat currency.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/07/17/bitcoin-above-7000.html

Good Good News coming into the Crypto space.
Better days are yet to come
Yes it is better to have a card that will carry crypto or hold and could be used in a certain establishment where in crypto is accepted. In this way cryptocurrency would be put into good use and it will be functioning as real currency that could be use a medium of exhchange. This could be the start and i guess there are other company to follow seeing that there could  be a good income on joining cryptocurrency.
69  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do you want a site to let you take part in English conversations? on: August 05, 2018, 02:59:40 PM
Some of the members of the Fit to Talk English project seem to be worried that their spelling is not good enough to post. Well first let me say that that shouldn't stop you. We are there to help you, and if you don't post, then we can't help. Google is also another great way to check your spelling. and by looking at the results, you can check if you are using the correct word as well.

But what has all that got to do with voice converations? I'm considering paying for a VPS and Teamspeak licence so that you can take part in group discussions to improve your English. You can read about Teamspeak here -
https://www.teamspeak.com/en/

You would need headphones and a microphone, and you would need to install the Teamspeak client. Just think of the advantages of being able to discuss your post on a Bitcoin Talk board as you are making it. What a great way to improve your post quality, if you take advantage of the free service.
This move to get the newbies to get involved in the discussions with the ease and comfort for taking away the fears and worries of not getting the right spelling of the words and also the correct way of using grammar would be so good and many would take it as an advantage. Imagine that you do not need to encode all the things you want to discuss you will just sit and use your microphone to record your statements and arguments. Anyway i know how the poster of the threads wants to have a good and healthier discussion here in the forum just like i remember that when i was a newbie i was able to receive merit from him. I wish i could receive some merits it has been a while.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What you do when someone say bitcoin is illegal thing? on: August 05, 2018, 02:24:03 PM
Most of the common people think that bitcoin is used only by hackers and criminals, even one of my friend said that it is used by hackers when I am telling about crypto currency to him.Later I explained what is bitcoin and other crypto currencies but still he confused,he can only get what is bitcoin when he research about himself.

In this situation how can we explain that what is real bitcoin?
Just ignore them they will be talking about nonsense since you know how much cryptocurrency worth especially when you had earn already on it. As we all know that those people who are talking negatively on bitcoin are those people who did not even consider how to take part on bitcoin or cryptocurrency and was not able to experience earning on cryptocurrency. They just simply talk negatively and we should not argue with them.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't we accept bitcoin is going through developmental stages on: August 05, 2018, 10:04:29 AM
A lot of noise and FUD news was been said about the price movements of bitcoin lately. We are expecting bitcoin price to move up faster without considering the facts that the process of cryptocurrencies revolution comes in stages. Even the fiat currencies also pass through some stages before it become stabilized.

In every sphere of life, there is always a revolution and developmental stages which I believe is also affecting bitcoin too. Let have believe that this process will stabilize bitcoin in the long run and be more acceptable.

Really though we know that bitcoin has done so much development on the past few years of its existence but still there are more room for it to grow and develop fully as a cryptocurrency or decentralized digital currency. Yet i was hoping that they could do more on the market price drop and get a strategic way that it could not go stress over those investors who are loyally and patiently waiting for a good market price increase.

73  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this basically just another way to make money? on: August 04, 2018, 03:14:08 PM
My start with crypto/btc was that I invested a bit end of November last year. I had a few friends that told me about their small successes and how easy it was to just 'start'. It was indeed quite easy. I started to read and research into btc and every other relevant coin. Whitepapers, teams and such. Then I started to shift focus to the block chain, starting to get a grasp on what could be the future possibilities. I started to get real exited and invested some of my savings in a few projects with (to me) real potential. None of those projects appeared to be alive because of speculation only, mainly because they have a vision and actual plans.

So then I noticed that there are quite a few documentaries. I started to watch them all. A few from 2015, 2016 and 2017. I was disappointed to say the least. Everything was about bitcoin and the value/worth of bitcoin. It was about highs and lows, crashes and deceit. Only a few times the actual potential of the block chain was mentioned. Mostly it was about money.

Right now I am starting to feel like this is just a way to make money. Nothing more nothing less. You buy into btc or other coins and in no way are you really supporting the project, besides maybe adding to the order books at the exchanges with some minor effect until whales decided to take over. I sometimes have some sort of dishonest feeling, like the money I make through buying (and seldom) selling is somehow dirty as it comes from people that simply do less research, bail out or simply already had their take.

I started with high feelings of morality, being part of some new future where block chain would be the next internet. Right now it feels like a rat race where you have to grab as much money as possible before others take it before you or from you.

Not that I am ungrateful. I like many projects because of the team behind it that actually want to change the world. But if I look around me, it is mostly those that are in it to make money, a lot of money....and this money has to come from somewhere right (those that lose money)...

What is your take on this? Is this all a phase, part of how this game works?
For some yes it just to make more money but there are quite members also here in the forum just like the poster that wants cryptocurrency for good of an individual who will going to take it as an advantage as we move forward through digital currency. This is indeed a good innovation and one must know that we should use the system positively and not for money.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy in your country on: August 04, 2018, 01:39:46 PM
In the present time economic situation in our country is improving and crypto currencies are normally operating in our country and the unemployment will reduce with crypto and soon the new business will also grow in our country which will increase crypto demand.
That is good and i feel you because i had the same situation here in our country wherein cryptocurrency was being regulated and adapted by the government. Actually the regulations is on the investors side favor since the ICO will be registered and the team could be put to jail if they will scam the investors on the project they will going to run through a crowds fund.
75  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the price of bitcoin rapidly going down on: August 04, 2018, 12:44:43 PM
The news in term of development are actually decent, with LN getting closer to a release, so I think this is just temporary. Smiley
Temporary or not it is still the same that we know bitcoin market price will move depending on its demand. So this means that market price could rapidly go down or rapidly goes up. No one could manipulate the movement for market price for bitcoin. As other member had posted in one of those threads that bitcoin is the vehicle and we run it.
76  Economy / Economics / Does the bitcoin dev. team had bull preparation on 2018? on: August 03, 2018, 02:45:38 PM
I thought of this since market price for bitcoin has drastically drop always after bouncing back and then made another fluctuation on its market price. It does seem to be manipulated by a bitcoin dev. team for the preparation on the upcoming bull run for bitcoin in the next few months on it. Correct me if i am wrong but this is my humble idea to let everyone know that we should be patience and hold still our crypto. Does this market price adjustments is for the preparation for bitcoin bull run?
77  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: August 03, 2018, 02:13:21 PM
if only a million people out of 300 million managed to organize and march on DC the national guard would run away.
we could throw all the traitors there in a cage, abolish the income tax and the fed.
Bullshit.

Don't bring a gun to a drone fight.
Well how could anyone think to abolish income tax and the government rules and regulations on it when it can really be helpful especially to the poor where they can access free services from the government like hospitalization, the concrete roads being done and made from those public services to uphold the rights of the people or its constituents and many more. This is not a war this is a humanitarian prevention and an ideal way to preserve life through public services.
78  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 03, 2018, 07:30:57 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
I am still new on cryptocurrency and for now i would rather say on something that i learned and that is how crypto help me out. Maybe some of the members would say that they were able to get a good profit on crypto since they had a long stay already on it and they were benefited already. GOod for them to get a good reward or even profit on their investment.
79  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin? Advantages and Disadvantages on: August 03, 2018, 06:52:07 AM
While browsing the net, I have stumbled on an interesting article were all the advantages and risks related to investing in Bitcoin have been laid down. An excellent, and informative read: http://cryptodetail.com/page/risks-of-investing-in-cryptocurrency
Well yes all things created has the advantage and disadvantage and we know that there are much more than that to record on those things. It is not only for the record but it is for the people who will going to utilize the bitcoin or any cryptocurrency same as with bitcoin.
80  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: August 02, 2018, 10:48:52 AM
Firsty, them deciding what is suspicious and not suspicious

Not everybody is an employee working for someone. Some people are entrepreneurs, and as an entrepreneur, you can have some HUGE days. I don't need a bank telling me that my successful day where i made $20k+ is suspicious if I want to withdraw all of it. (people have been arrested for making large withdraws before).

Also, banks freely allowing their customers to scam business (via chargeback). Instead of blindly chargingback purchases and screwing over merchants, visa applicants should be required to take a course outlining the risks of credit cards, and Visa should do proper investigations when a chargeback is brought up.

If a tracking number and proof of delivery can be proved, why should the customer be given their money back?

ALSO, i recently looked into banking investment options. It comes across as a way to just make more money off customers. Think of it like this. It's like it's just them taking your money so they can invest it in polyniex. I only tried it out cause my family (who doesn't know about bitcoins) encouraged it.

Do you have any gripes about banks
Actually i never dislikes this banks doing business with them. I do really like to have involve or get with their service because it is so convenient not to hold huge money in our very own pocket or to keep it within the house especially there are many possible reasons why you should not keep your money in your own house instead deposit it in the banks. This will be more secured than keeping it on our own will.
