I created an account on BlockGen and wrote a 5 star review of NastyPool. The formatting ended up a bit strange, so to see the entire review, you've got to go here: http://blockgen.net/review/56Looking into the issue now. Issue fixed.

Thank you jonnybravo0311 for the feedback.
I am looking into the issue currently. I actually had the same issue occur on another review, on another pool and I thought I fixed it so now I am scratching my head a little bit. However, ill get it sorted out here soon.
Edit functionality is going to be incorporated eventually, BlockGen is still in beta. I will say however, it will have a time limit built into it. Probably 6 or 12 hours and then editing is locked, also editing would be locked if their is a official reply or comment on the review.
AntPool's pool type has also been changed.

For BTC pools: Discus Fish (i.e. f2pool) and AntPool should probably be added since they represent the top 2 pools by hash rate.
F2Pool (Discus Fish) has been added: http://blockgen.net/miningPool/86AntPool has been added: http://blockgen.net/miningPool/87I am manually adding these pools instead of the pool admin adding it themselves. Their pool admins have not replied back to me with permission to use things such as their logo etc... Hopefully in the future I can add those things. NastyPool has also been added by it's pool admin: http://blockgen.net/miningPool/85I am open to any other suggestions.

Great. I'm not a miner, I thought blockgen was brand new It is, I just contacted a bunch of pools before launch and some of them setup their pool details and what not before launch.

http://www.xpool.ca/This one has a long history and apparent good payment record: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=650952.0I have never used it but the updates seem regular, communication is good and there doesn't seem to be anyone complaining They added Nxt recently so that it the reason I have been following the past few weeks. So far, there is nothing to complain about. Xpool has been on BlockGen since before launch, and there admin team has been really friendly with us. You can review them here: http://blockgen.net/miningPool/63

Crypto-Currency Mining Pool Review, Rating and Ranking Website About BlockGen BlockGen began in March of 2015, it was formed out the idea that there is no central place to find and compare reputable crypto-currency mining pools and aims to fill that gap. It was designed to make life easy for crypto-currency miners. Say you are a miner looking to mine Bitcoin, all you would have to do is use the filter and select the crypto-currency Bitcoin and all the pools that will allow you to mine Bitcoin or payout in Bitcoin will appear in a ranking order from best to worst. No more searching through various forum threads, google searches, and everywhere else. Pools are consolidated and easy to filter, for whatever you are looking for. While open source and/or free pool software is great for the crypto-currency community, sometimes it can also bring about bad people. There has been numerous pools in the past that have stolen miners' coins, or charged them more fees when they were stating, and many other bad things. BlockGen aims to alleviate this problem, by holding them accountable for their actions via reviews and ratings. If miners see that a pool has gotten horrible reviews/ratings over an extended period of time they will know to stay away from said pool. How it Works BlockGen Score The BlockGen score is just a simple formula that assigns a score to a pool based on the number of reviews and average rating, this is what ranks the pools by default on our homepage. The BlockGen score updates every hour. The score does not take effect until there is at least 2 reviews. For Miners Simply register an account and activate it, once activated you can rate/review your favorite pools. You can rate/review multiple pools, however we have a hard limit set in place so you can only rate/review any given pool once per week. Comments are not limited. For Pool Admins Pool admins can register an account on BlockGen and add their mining pool, after their ownership/relation to said pool has been manually verified by the BlockGen admin team they will have complete access over their Pool Details page. They have the ability to edit all of their pool details, upload banners and logos, write their own description, and much more. The pool admin is allowed to reply to reviews on their pool, and they are highlighted and called "Official Replies". BlockGen admins DO NOT post reviews, and heavily monitor all reviews to make sure they are spam free and that multiple reviews for one pool are not made from the same IP or pool admin. Misc.Facebook login is enabled on our site for quick and easy registration.Join our IRC Channel: #BlockGen on FreenodeFollow us on twitter: @BlockGenCheck out our Blog for guides, updates and interesting articles. If there is a currency, pool type, or reward type missing from BlockGen please let us know! We will gladly add it for you! ***BlockGen is currently in beta. Any and all things are subject to change at anytime. If you have any feedback let us know. Contact Us

I follow your very explicit procedure. NOMP look OK MPOS is working and connect to Daemon and Database but I can't connect with miner to port 3333 and I get the error below. We tried to poke your Stratum server using your $config['gettingstarted'] settings but it didn't respond - Unknown server error Wallet is SHA256 from the latest bitcoin 9.3.0 source. any help will be appreciated... I apologize for the very late reply, I don't check bitcoin talk that often. I check my forums everyday though. In the MPOS config, make sure to actually update the stratum ip or URL you want for it. It is by default left blank in the config. That's why you are getting that stratum poke issue. I would suggest restarting NOMP completely, I have seen it on several occasions when you connect NOMP to the coin daemon while it's still updating the block chain it gets stuck in the "download blockchain" mode and can't get out of it. Especially on newly developed crypto-currencies. Also, make sure to check your coin config in NOMP and make sure the port 3333 is in there and it's open in CSF (config server firewall).

Great guide. I was looking for a more complete guide to set up MPOS with NOMP, and your guide is wonderfully detailed and easy to follow.
I am running a NOMP server and hate the frontend/payout system, so I have been wanting to implement an MPOS front-end for a while now.
Once again, this writeup is great and I look forward to seeing what your site turns into.
Thank you for the compliments. Once I feel like I have wrote a decent amount of novice level guides, I will be making some more advanced ones as well. I am trying to push out at least 1 guide per week. However, that's more a guideline then a rule. With the development of the actual BlockGen website and real life time is limited, but ill make do.
