Hi,
This is very interesting.
1) Can you also make this multilingual? So that the interface can be changed from English to Chinese and Russian and any other languages, through GUI or customizable .po files
2) Can it be installed on a shared hosting? Or do you need access to the root and shell?
3) Can the buyer (who has a server or shared hosting, but is not very technical) expect assistance from you in installing this? Can you help install the wallet and this script during a Skype conference? Or is it like "pay 1 BTC, get the script and you're on your own"?
4) Can the house advantage be easily altered (say from 1.5% to 2%) without breaking the whole site? or is it forever fixed at 1.5%?
PS: Apart from Dice and Wheel, it would be cool to have a Roulette and Black Jack

We are working on implementing Quarkcoin.
If you have 2 wallets (that means you see 2 wallets on the left bar with the "New Wallet" button below it) you can choose which wallet you want to send the coins from.
Wow! This is exactly what I need. If this feature would work with Quark this would be absolutely awesome(!) because then I could keep the Business account completely separate from my Personal Quark funds. Really looking forward to Quark implementation. Thanks! |

I've just installed it. It works smoothly. Very nice.
Could you please add Quark?
Also a question: say I have 2 wallet addresses: one for Personal expenses, and one for Business income and expenditure. With the current QT if you have several addresses and make a payment, very often the payment will go out of both addresses. And it makes it difficult to keep both accounts separate. This is especially important for Business needs and taxes (because I want the blockchain to be a proof for the taxman). When making a payment through MuCoWa is it possible to choose which address should the payment go out from?

I once bumped into a site like that, but don't remember what its called.

EDIT ADDITION: Since this was a competition, I don't see the point of awarding any of the contestants who received 0 votes or 1 vote (1 vote is always for one's own entry). So, I'd say that your decision is generous very generous to the contestants, and should therefore be appreciated. Furthermore, I don't see the point of awarding the top 4 "winners", who, to my mind, obviously cheated. The rest is agreeable to me. So, i's a Yay.

Quark was added to https://c-cex.com today, so I started testing it out. It is like BTC-E.com with USD access and trollbox - but it's all just faster and nicer. Given that Quark confirmations take only 3o seconds, trading on this new C-Cex.com is simply AWESOME and FUN!!! Deposits take less than 1 minute and withdrawals arrive at your wallet INSTANTLY!!! (although, because it is Quark still take 30 seconds to confirm). It is a new site, but if there is enough trading volume there, we can forget about Cryptsy.com and BTC-E.com altogether. |

@gjeric a valid point at surface value, but... you should feel cheated if this was an order. But this was a competition - and you didn't win it, martijnp "did".
I perfectly understand the dilemma that has been created here; either move by Flip will create bad feeling with someone. That's why I see donating to QF as the neutral solution that should not embitter anyone and will benefit Quark as a whole. It's quite simple really.
@Ashmasser if those are your comments about the QF, then I'd say you know nothing about what QF is, under which conditions it was set up and for what purpose. (hint: it was not for curing cancer or organizing community cleanups)

I am the moderator of Quark Reddit at http://www.reddit.com/r/QuarkCoin/ . When I came in I saw our community shattered, divided with bitter petty quarrels, hopeless and in panic. As a moderator (as well as someone who has started several small successful social networks in the past), my emphasis was on Community Building strategy. I cleared the bugs, made our Reddit look very stylish (and the community recognised this several times), I made sure that our reddit is not just a place to share "official" information, but a hangout space for the Community, where people hold each other's backs and give support. If before Reddit was some forgotten outpost of Quark constellation, now our Reddit has more traffic then all 3 forums combined. I gave countless hours in making sure that each newbie question is answered - and yes the newbies do ask the same questions over and over again, and yes, I write full response to each of them. Those of you who are visiting our Reddit regularly know me and how committed and passionate I am about Quark project and our people. Because through my behaviour I want to set a standard of what the attitude of each of us should be. That's what Leadership is about! Same thing in war, same thing in life. And if the Logo is the Flag, I can't take that logo (no matter how good design it is) from someone whose principles are muddled up!!! It's not just bad karma, it's a question of virtue and integrity. This Sense of Community that has emerged is really THE STRONGEST point of Quark!!! Yes - think about it! Because 30 seconds confirmation and 9 rounds of hashing -- anyone can clone that, and they do. But what they can't clone is the Community that we've got going! The dedicated individuals at Quark Foundation and all others activists, each of whom do their job altruistically! They've called us premined, scamcoin, delusional etc -- but we're still here... and not only that, but we are gradually rising - numbers don't lie: our Reddit is the 4th most popular sub after Bitcoin, Doge and Litecoin -- and the market demonstrates its confidence in Quark too when they see a united, Ambitious and Determined community!
Now, when I see such cheating behaviour, it pains me - seriously! And yes, such behaviour should not be tolerated. Because if it is tolerated and even rewarded with even 1 QRK, then it sends a very wrong message to our Community and a very wrong message to potenntial Quark investors. I personally would be very offended if cheaters were to receive a single Quark! I would therefore strongly urge against giving any rewards to any of the competitors.
Instead, I fully support Quark Foundation -- because it has proven by deed and by delivering accomplished projects that it is a trustworthy body.

* Quark ATM (those Bitcoin ATMs can easily be re-programmed for Quark for $5000 each)
* apps for smart-watches (yes, they are coming and will be the new frontier),
* A site like LocalBitcoins.com (I've been working on that but I need to hire more experienced developers to help me out)
* Community organisation tool and project-management tool (like Kickstarter)
* A tool that integrates with Google Map and shows where Quark is acceptable in your vicinity. (Yes, I've been building that too, but more on that later)
* More videos and in different languages
* A professional Media, Advertising and PR team
* Promotional public events
* Giveaways of few QRK to each new person who has never heard of Quark and doesn't know how to use the wallet.

Any of these projects is more important that the Logo. If the above projects were to be accomplished, Quark could very soon rival even Bitcoin. Yes!
I think the entire pot of 120,000 should be given to Quark Foundation not only because it can help finance these much needed projects, but primarily because you could help send a very important message that Quark is not just a crypto-currency, Quark is a Community, and we don't tolerate sleazy behaviour like cheating!

Someone please help me start mining on Windows 7 .. I've been trying for hours and I still can't connect using 127.0.0.1 -- it just keeps saying json_rpc_call failed This is what I have so far cudaminer.exe --algo=keccak -d 0 -o http://127.0.0.1:8108 -O username:password -i 0 -C 2 -l F14x16 -m 1 I have GTX480. What should I use for command line? And what should I replace username and password with? |

I have a GTX480 -- so far I have been very unlucky about mining all the scrypt coins with this Nvidia card. But tonight I'm hoping to make up for all the losses by using your Cudaminer on keccak Maxcoin. Finally, there's fairness in this world!
Will we have a working Windows 7 version and instructions in time for MaxCoin launch??? And where is the link where it will be (or already is) available for download?

You are all naive sheep, sitting here waiting for the Wallet and Miner to be released. The coin is already being premined by Max Keiser's botnets and has been for a few hours now!!!! Go sign up at http://max.minecrypto.net/ . You will see that the network hashrate is already past 80GHs and the difficulty is already 1080. I have been monitoring it. And it has been this way for more than an hour!!! Yes! So they are rape-mining with their botnets. If this is not a PreMine, I don't know what is.
Did you really think that Max Keiser was gonna pump this coin without reserving the first tens of millions of coins for himself?

@krecu I don't think that we need a forum. Reddit provides a much more dynamic and vibrant format for discussion and that's where most of the coins communities do their discussions. We have our own subreddit here http://www.reddit.com/r/qubitcoin/ I'm one of the mods there and will make it look nicer over time (Right now I'm busy building a site for Qbit organisation). Everybody, come and join that subreddit and let's carry on the discussions there, rather than here under one thread. As for what is the 3rd website, that's probably the one that I'm building. I think it is going to be for community organisation, project development management, organization of local communities ... so basically the Qbit Foundation. |

Current name QBIT does not respond to brand requirements. Totally. Coin name must be brand. We really don't need another one "bit" or "coin" among hundreds of clones, trust me. It should not look like "oh, just another coin". Let's take a look. DOGE is just another Scrypt coin. Why it makes its way to the moon? Brand. DOGE is cool and stylish. It cought the trend. What about QBIT? It is technically different coin. But it is "just another fork" in minds of most people. How to solve the problem? Brand. We need to make this coin some kind of social phenomenon.QUINT I think it should be something like this. Pentagon and Q variations. It represents FIVE - the IDEA of the coin.I know that much job have been done using Q2C or QBIT names. But at last we'll need one name. And I hope you understand that it sould not be Q2C or QBIT. Anyone else interested in starting up a foundation for this coin to initiate projects, collaborate on direction and look at future updates to features/client with the dev? It'd be great to start a cooperative braintrust for ideas and promoting the coin for real world use. That's the main issue with most legitimate crypto altcoins, they have great communities but have gotten nowhere in terms of market penetration and acceptance. We need people to want to invest in Qubits and it's future not just trade it as a pump and dump coin.
