101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: December 16, 2013, 06:32:33 PM
Yeah, if I were him, I wouldn't appreciate people making his site look untrustworthy, but I do appreciate that he listed it in the first place.

Sorry guys. I can't control the internet, unfortunately. :/
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: December 16, 2013, 06:28:39 PM
It is a shame how can be manipulated doge by one single marketcap. I hope doge gonna survive this and ppl wont take a serious action what just happened there. Wink

I think things like this will kill the coin as soon as the troll/meme culture gets fed up with typing DOGE-style.
Looks like they're not even ashamed of the fake buying. More alts like this will come but most people will see though it or learn from their misstakes now.

I've messaged Gliss with a possible solution, but I understand if he would want to delist the coin for now.

What is coinedup? Why do they not want any fee? It looks like coded in less than one day^^

I'd be surprised if it took them a full day to code it.

I just don't know what's taking Cryptsy so long to add Dogecoin. They have a fee and could probably make a lot of money from trading it.

Is there any coin that gets added to Cryptsy after 7 days of existence?

Is there any coin that has an active exchange after 3 days of existence?

CoinedUp did this coin a huge service, and kudos to them. I can see why Cryptsy - especially considering they are dealing with stability issues right now - didn't immediately jump on adding a new coin with a ton of buzz. They will, just hang tight Smiley

Alright, I messaged Gliss. We'll see if he decides to delist it or not.

In terms of whether DogeCoin is serious or not, "not serious" is not the phrase I would use. Fun is.

DogeCoin can be whatever everyone wants it to be.

Is it possible to get in touch with coinmarketcap and sort this mess out asap???

I'll give it a shot.

I think its not a good idea troll exchanges. Investors can think that Dogecoin is not serious.

I agree with this, to be honest, if the goal is to be taken somewhat seriously and not to get it delisted everywhere.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin market capitalization watcher thread on: December 16, 2013, 05:52:21 PM
quark/namecoin routinely swap places, depending on the market.

I wish Gliss would just delist doge permanently, for their trolling shennanigans

I don't think it needs to be delisted, but for now maybe "if over $1 a coin, ignore and use previous price" type logic.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge @ #2? Are you f*#king kidding me? on: December 16, 2013, 05:39:51 PM
http://coinmarketcap.com/

This is ridiculous and totally makes coinmarketcap lose credibility. Why is this coin even listed?

I realy dont like these childish things  Angry Its about money not a kids game  Angry  Angry  Angry Fuck coinmarketcap  Angry

Read a few posts up. This isn't coinmarketcap's fault, or anyone's fault, really, except whoever is messing around at coinedup.com.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge @ #2? Are you f*#king kidding me? on: December 16, 2013, 05:32:39 PM
seems... someone on coinedup is screwing with the market... buying 0.0000000001 doge at 1 BTC..

so you can imagine how that screws with coinmarket cap...

I figure its part of the hype... and it does a great job of pandering to their need for attention.. plus imagine a lot of ppl who dont go to forums.. will fall for coinmarketcaps strat

This is what is happening. It's not in my control and not coinmarketcap's fault that random people are purchasing tiny amounts of dogecoin on CoinedUp's at very high ask prices (apparently CoinedUp allows this), which puts the overall value to a huge number.

Yes, that being said, I do need to cleanup OP and add more information on each of the pools so it isn't just a static list. It would help me if the pool operators messaged me some quick stats about their pool (Fee%, min payout, how much server load it can handle, uptime, etc)

117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [DOGE] Looking for investors so DOGE can be added to rapidballs.eu (15/20 left) on: December 13, 2013, 02:11:48 AM
Howdy folks --

I thought it would be fun for folks if DogeCoin was added to http://rapidballs.eu, which is a keno-esque type gambling site with raffles and such as well for many other coins.

To get on the site, the rapidballs folks asked for investors -- those who are willing to put in 2,000,000 DOGE (with 500,000 of that being a donation, and 1,500,000 of it being reserved for a stake in the profits of the site).

Here is the full detail:

"About Invest
RapidBalls for DogeCoin would like to offer the community a chance to become involved in an opt-in profit share on any losing stakes. This means for RapidBalls that we can increase the minimum stakes currently offered with the increased BankRoll created by the investors.

1. How does it work?
RapidBalls offers 30% of all profits out to 20 people who participate within Invest. Each time someone loses a stake, we distribute the losing stake with a 70%/30% split, RapidBalls taking 70% for covering BankRoll losses and Investors receiving a share of the remaining 30%.

Example
100 Stakes are placed at 1DogeCoin each totalling 100DogeCoin. 31 of the Stakes placed win and receive the winnings out of the available BankRoll, the remaining 69 stakes are lost with this share being distributed.
70% of 69 = 48.3DogeCoin To RapidBalls towards Business profits, Bankroll losses and costs.
30% of 69 = 20.7DogeCoin To Invest Shareholders.

If you have 25% of the total investment given, then you will receive 25% of the payment: 5.175DogeCoin.

2. How much can you Invest?
We offer a capped system, we start on a minimum of 2m investment per person with a 20 person cap, once the 20 people have invested we will raise the cap to 500m to allow any of the 20 to invest as much as they like to gain more % of the losing stakes.

3. Can you lose DogeCoin?
We are charging 500k from each of the 20 people to put towards the costs and the remainder (1.5m) of the 2m investment will be at no risk and can be withdrawn after a 7 days request notice with a 15% commission charge on any profits made during the account lifetime.

4. Can you withdraw part of my Investment at anytime?
No, you must withdraw all of your investment when you decide to do so. With a 15% commission charge on any profits made during the account lifetime. As the Invest account will be closed.

5. How often can I withdraw my profits?
Any time they are available. Minimum withdraw is 1DogeCoin, subject to any transaction charges. Please note item 4.

6. Being Anonymous
We believe in your privacy so will not share your Username with any other Investor. We do show a numerical list with % of profit ownership against them.

7. Invest Control Panel
Being part of the Invest program you will receive access to a control panel that will offer you current betting on the DogeCoin RapidBalls web site along with, your current profits and profit % you have of any losing stakes.

8. Do you need to Invest to Join?
Yes, only those who are involved within the Invest Program can access the Control Panel."

If you would like to be involved, please send me a PM with your email address so I can forward it to the rapidballs admins for the next steps.

Version 1.1 of the client has been released. Generally minor cosmetic changes, but it should sync better.

There's a simple gambling webapp here. I'll put it on the main page if people can confirm it is fair and working.
