This coin should be listed at WOW WOW  Grin (CRYPTSY) immediately.
It is doing really great.

My guess is Cryptsy is focused on dealing with the heavy increase in demand at the moment and when things settle, DogeCoin would be on their radar.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 10, 2013, 04:48:35 PM
What's the chance that the doge will be traded on, say, Cryptsy?

Its already listed somewhere

http://btc38.com/altcoin/ I don't see it there

Unfortunately this is a photoshop. No exchanges *yet*, but the coin is only a few days old Smiley
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 10, 2013, 03:35:41 AM
Forgive me for not posting this in doge-speak, but I noticed it says max coins 100 billion. I already have 4 million coins after only mining for a few hours (on a 2MHps rig), so I suspect the number of coins must be in the billions already.
Can anyone tell how many coins have already been mined in total? I'm not good at extracting stuff like that from the blockchain files, or I'd just look.

You can find the answer in the dogechain app!

The other pool is going down soon so it would definitely be good to have multiple pools up Smiley

why is that?

Oh, just to migrate his SQL server. It won't be down long. Still, always good to have multiple working pools! Smiley
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 08, 2013, 03:22:39 PM

Not compiling on Ubuntu 12.04:
/usr/bin/ld: i386 architecture of input file `obj/version.o' is incompatible with i386:x86-64 output
/usr/bin/ld: i386 architecture of input file `obj/protocol.o' is incompatible with i386:x86-64 output

/usr/bin/ld: i386 architecture of input file `obj/noui.o' is incompatible with i386:x86-64 output
...

If you fix it, I'll setup a pool, but I need it to compile!

If you delete dogecoin/src/obj and recompile, will it work?
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency - many coin - wow on: December 08, 2013, 07:02:15 AM
much love many compile sad

If anyone has trouble compiling the wallet on linux check this fix out(#3):
http://pw999.wordpress.com/2013/09/29/compiling-memecoin-qt-on-xubuntu/

Quote
3. Fix memecoin-qt.pro

There is a little error in the memecoin-qt.pro file which forces make to use a very specific version of boost. Open ~/src/Memecoin/memecoin-qt.pro and change the line that says
LIBS += -lboost_system-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_filesystem-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_program_options-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_thread-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53
into
LIBS += -lboost_system -lboost_filesystem -lboost_program_options -lboost_thread
BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53
should become
BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX=
and deleting the following lines
isEmpty(BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX) {
macx:BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX = -mt
windows:BOOST_LIB_SUFFIX = -mgw44-mt-s-1_53
}
should help you fix errors like:

ddatamapper.o build/moc_transactiondesc.o build/moc_transactiondescdialog.o build/moc_bitcoinamountfield.o build/moc_transactionfilterproxy.o build/moc_transactionview.o build/moc_walletmodel.o build/moc_overviewpage.o build/moc_csvmodelwriter.o build/moc_sendcoinsentry.o build/moc_qvalidatedlineedit.o build/moc_qvaluecombobox.o build/moc_askpassphrasedialog.o build/moc_notificator.o build/moc_miningpage.o build/moc_rpcconsole.o build/qrc_bitcoin.o    -L/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu -lboost_system -lboost_filesystem -lboost_program_options -lboost_thread -lrt -LC:/deps/boost/stage/lib -Lc:/deps/db/build_unix -Lc:/deps/ssl -lssl -lcrypto -ldb_cxx -lboost_system-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_filesystem-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_program_options-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lboost_thread-mgw46-mt-sd-1_53 -lQtGui -lQtCore -lpthread
