1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surprised fact about Bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 11:38:34 AM
Bitcoin is not a company like Disney so you can't compare their market value. It's like comparing market value of Dollar and market value of Toyota.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: January 29, 2018, 11:37:37 AM
No one is using ETC. Most wallets don't support ETC but they support ETH.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: January 29, 2018, 11:35:42 AM
No. Never place all your funds into one coin.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will lightning network succeed? on: January 29, 2018, 11:35:12 AM
It is an indispensable supplement in the system of small transactions and high-frequency concurrent transactions. Lightning network micropayment space will also become larger and larger. In addition to solving the extensibility, the lightning network can also solve the privacy problem, after all, not everyone's transaction is suitable to be exposed in the main chain. That's one of the good things about it.

Are you sure your not being paid to say this ?

I look at the advert in your footer and it mentions block-chain and Lightning is "off-block" using a system of private ledgers
and banking hubs so looks like you want to have your cake and eat it.

Wepower is a completely different coin not Bitcoin.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will a fork of Bitcoin ever take over? on: January 29, 2018, 09:00:24 AM
I think bitcoin gold will be able to compete with bitcoin, but it still takes a very long time. There is a possibility but it's not likely. Seeing as how many exchanges have BTC as the default currency of trade, Even with ETH being the runner up of BTC you will notice that the markets are significantly smaller.

Bitcoin Gold has nothing special about it. It will never compete with bitcoin.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No future for bitcoin on: January 29, 2018, 08:59:41 AM
I don't think this will happen. Bitcoin has a bright future.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will lightning network succeed? on: January 28, 2018, 10:32:00 PM
Apparently for now, there are still some few bugs according to those who have used it, but that is the essence of the usage as that would strengthen it the more for premium usage. I believe it will succeed, not without some challenges, but nothing to worry about except it is at user's risk presently.

However, at least we are a step ahead and not where we used to be before. After all, isn't the success something to look forward to? Hopefully this becomes an end to the scaling issue.

What bugs are there right now?
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed? on: January 28, 2018, 03:41:55 PM
There is no sense: a bank is something create to store money in a safe place.
Bitcoin is stored in the blockchain, so there is no need for banks.

Banks also give loans and interest on money.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Segwit reduce transaction fees? on: January 28, 2018, 03:40:51 PM
As far I know a fork does not have any impact on the orginal blockchain.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Will lightning network succeed? on: January 28, 2018, 02:45:05 PM
Lightning network has started being used by some people. How is it working right now? Will it succeed?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Historical crypto month? on: January 28, 2018, 02:00:02 PM
January is usually a bad crypto month historically.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO trend giving (Eastern) Europe chance to catch up w. Silicon Valley? on: January 28, 2018, 01:59:06 PM
This is a very interesting premise!

The short answer for me is: No.

But in reality the answer will follow the market or material value created by the portfolio of ICOs coming out of Eastern Eirope.

It’s not that they are crypto currency or token based, it’s what these new companies create for the world. If Eastern Europe sees more Vitaliks, the future will be very, very bright!

Whoch ICOs do you see as offering the greatest utility to the world?

There are genius inventors like Vitaliks in many countries. What makes Silicon Valley unique is the whole tech ecosystem.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Banks: needed? on: January 27, 2018, 09:29:18 PM
Bitcoin acts like a bank itself but some people might feel they need a bank to use cryptocurrencies.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the ICO trend giving (Eastern) Europe chance to catch up w. Silicon Valley? on: January 27, 2018, 09:28:01 PM
Eastern europe cannot compete with Silicon Valley. There is just too much difference in tech eco-system.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: January 27, 2018, 09:26:36 PM
Bitcoin is already an international currency. It is used by people from all countries.

18  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do I find bettors to come to my site on: January 20, 2018, 04:06:17 PM
Some mod really needs to close this topic.

The original poster hasn't commented since he created this thread over a month and a half ago and people keep posting and saying the same stuff over and over again.

The discussion could be useful to some other budding entrepreneur. Or not.

No thanks, binary options are typically scam operated.

Why do you think binary options are a scam?
