1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: May 31, 2019, 06:40:09 PM
Main advantage of litecoin mus be lower fees compare to Bitcoin. Exchanges are getting crazy when you need withdraw your btc. If you have lower amounts of BTC then its easy to exchange it to LTC and send it to your private wallet for a few cents. I think team has already succeed to keep people interest on LTC by their great idea of being lite version of bitcoin Smiley

This is why Litecoin is getting more people using it. If people use bitcoin for transactions without the lightning network, then the bitcoin network might suffer the same problem of a congestionated network like happened in the end of 2017.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: May 25, 2019, 02:57:41 PM
decided that i am going to start getting paid in LTC, instead of BTC... BTC fees have killed me over the last month :/

There is a reason why litecoin is ranked in the 5th place on coinmarketcap. When cryptocurrencies become mainstream, many people will want to send transactions using litecoin as an alternative to bitcoin.

You guys should keep track of the GitHub activity to see if a project is active on development before investing. Clearly Dubaicoin has not been active on their GitHub: https://github.com/dubaicoin-dbix/go-dubaicoin
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: May 25, 2019, 10:19:34 AM
I am going to be very brave and say it. My ethereum price prediction for the next bullrun price peak is going to be between $5000 and $8000. That is a 100x from the 2018 December lows of $80.
It's a bold prediction but not impossible if ethereum keeps the status of the second coin on coinmarketcap.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 25, 2019, 09:36:33 AM
prices wont be going higher anytime soon

And why you have such  decision? We had small correction and now seems will be grow again. Price can't grow without correction. A lot of big news and big things are happening behind scene.
Weak hands already sell out when Eth at lowest price so now Ethereum trying to go up and weak hands regretting, trying best to dump price so they buy again at low price. No doubt many big things happening behind the scene, market showing some good effort to stable and anytime prices will skyrocket.

Yes, you are right weak hands will sell the coins when they make some profit but people who have patient towards ETH will wait for the price recovery. Even i have strong patience that this the price of ETH will surely cross the value of 1000$ easily.

On what basis do you think that ETH will cost more than $ 1000? I would like to know what prerequisites you consider important. What events will push ETH to rise above $ 1000?

If the development scalable solutions for ethereum come to be successful that is reason alone to push ethereum to $1000 but I don't think that will happen until bitcoin breaks the $20k all time high. Once new people invest in this space, they will want to invest in the top 10 to 100 coins and that could push ethereum past $1000.

The best fraud money on the market
create token and swindle people

You should work with a kyc credential

What are you talking about? Ethereum is a descentralized network where anyone can create dapps. The people who create these dapps tokens on the ethereum network are the ones who should request Kyc. Please tell us what are you trying to say.

all of the generated tokens are frauds
big scam

used to defraud people.

Publish the credentials of everyone who constitutes token.
https://etherscan.io

otherwise they do ico and collect money from people . they disappear later

No one forced people to invest in these ICO. People are greedy by nature and should be accountable for investing in things they don't understand just because everyone else is. It's not ethereum's fault that fraudulent people build on top of ethereum or anyother network. This market is young and very risky but highly rewardable and we should only invest what we can afford to lose.

LMAO. It is like saying Bitcoin is a scam. A scam that enabled criminal hackers to install ransomware. A scam that facilitated drug pushers to flourish online. Heck, the US dollar is also a scam. Everything is a scam, let's all write a letter to our congressman to investigate all these things.

Exactly! Where is Money, there are also criminals, frauds, scams. You name it. Wall Street is full of fraudulent schemes and yet people continue to invest with these hedge funds and vcs. Pink sheet markets are full of pump and dumps. Online business and money has brought a new wave of criminals called hackers but the old scammers also want a piece of the pie so we cannot blame Bitcoin or any other crypto for any bad actors in this space.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB Price discussion on: May 25, 2019, 08:32:28 AM
in my opinion coin BNB is the best coin for me. if to touch the price of 50 $ in my opinion it can. and can exceed. coin BNB has a large community, big partners and big partners so it's the best coin for me....

Why BNB is the best coin for you right now with the current market capitalization? There are plenty of Exchange tokens that can give us a better ROI within a few years. I know it's a risky investment to buy these exchange tokens but people thought the same about BNB back in 2017 and now they are buying a 300x higher price for it because they did not want to risk their money. A good strategy is to buy a little of every exchange token that you think are going to do well.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO - new ICO? what is difference? on: May 22, 2019, 05:25:14 AM
Most of team member of ICO was fraud, always intend to scam. Since they have used fake identity, the chances was high to scam people. As a result, people were not motivated to invest in ICO, not even in a legit project because they don't know which one is legit and not.
On the other hand, IEO is being held on exchange platform. The team member procedure the KYC too, the chance of scamming is very lower. On behalf of you, reputed exchange do the research as well.
Investors get attracted, project get fund.
That's the basic different between ICO and IEO.

There are no guarantees that some IEO's won't be scams like some past ICO's but is true that initial Exchange offerings (IEO) can be less of a risk on legit exchanges that require KYC. Do your research about the Exchange that is launching these IEO's before investing. This is why I am bullish on Exchange tokens. I think these Exchange tokens will have more demand as more people enter this industry.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 50K, China banned miners on: May 18, 2019, 04:29:40 PM
35 days ago I started a thread and I told you btc will go 9k$ bcz china banned miners, but some of you dont believed me, Today BTC is 8100$ in some exchange, Here is that thread:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5130327.msg50545198#msg50545198
Now I have a good news , BTC to 50k$ bcz china banned miner, my friend in China confirmed 90% of miner in china are shutdown. BTC can easy go to 50K$ and more.
Less miners = More Demand = increasing price, as simple as that.

How do you figure that with less miners the demand will be higher? As the price of bitcoin goes higher the more people want to mine it. If China have less miners, other countries will gain more miners. Bitmain has mining farms outsider of China. I don't see bitcoin having less miners because of any China ban. The only reason I see for bitcoin to have less miners in the future is if the demand for bitcoin decreases over time.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Game of Thrones cryptocurrency! on: May 18, 2019, 07:15:21 AM
the idea is interesting, but you cant just make tokens with major brands names
IF it ever got traction, the ACTUAL GoT people would sue its ass off
no point in even taking part, as exchanges don't want the liability either and never list these
nub

It's true. You can't just create tokens that use brand names or celebrity names. You can try and fly under their radar but I remember back in 2014 when some guys launched Conye coin and they received a cease and desist letter from kanye west lawyers. Cagecoin was created using Nicholas Cage as a meme and you cant still find that one on coinmarketcap xD
It is a gamble but I don't think many people will want to play that game.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | STRATIS | The first blockchain developed for businesses |Full POS on: May 18, 2019, 05:14:57 AM
Definitely, Stratis isn't a scam. But maybe we just had very big expectation from this team. I'm not sure that STRAT price can be over 50k in future. It's really sad, especially when we have already seen price 400k.

Everything was overbought back in june and in december 2017. In March the first wave of newbies that entered this industry pushed the prices to overbought levels. Bitcoin rised to 20k in December and altcoins followed after. The same will happen in 2021 when a new wave of new investors buy again bitcoin and altcoins to overbought levels so you people don't despair to think that Stratis won't see 50k or even 400k sats in the future because if they continue to build, it will probably see those price levels again but this time don't forget to sell in the next bull cycle peak.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $500k portfolio - Suggestions? on: May 17, 2019, 09:50:40 PM
Hi guys,

I'm new here. I'm working on Wall Street (no, I'm not rich) and I've heard about cryptocurrencies a lot these days. Last year I've made a small fortune and I have $500k right now.

Five big coins and two small coins that have potential.

My portfolio:

10 BTC - $70k
250 ETH - $57k
250k XRP - $92k
1250 XMR - $100k
1m Zilliqa - $16k
1m XEL - $24k
120k SHIFT $40k

I have $100k left now. What do you suggest? Can you tell me other small coins that have big potential? Thanks!

I would invest a small amount on exchange tokens. I know it's a high risk investment but if you think that in the last 2017 bullrun the exchanges were not being able to handle the amount of new users trying open accounts and they had to stop new registrations for some weeks, then we can expect that to happen again in the next bullrun. Some of these exchanges offer incentives for token holders and with the new influx of new users the Exchange tokens might be something to consider to have in any portfolio.

Also why don't you have any litecoin or Tezos?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: May 17, 2019, 08:43:41 PM
If someone here ask me about my opinion on Litecoin, at the moment, I will say that: Litecoin is a very good altcoins, and should always be considered for our portfolios. However, at the moment, I think that there are so  many other better options to invest (only top altcoins) and get better profits. I don't say invest in Litecoin now will not give you profits, but profits if you actually receive might be smaller than what you might get by invest into others top altcoins, like DASH, Bitshares, or Dogecoin. It's my two cents for current situation, but honestly I always keep my eyes on Litecoin to find good chance to invest in LTC.

Some people don't want to risk their Money in high risk altcoins that potentially give more rewards. They prefer to stick with the oldest, largest and most secure networks like bitcoin and litecoin.

Litecoin has always followed bitcoin so when bitcoin was at it's peak back in 2013 trading at $1200 USD, litecoin was $50 USD. When Bitcoin was trading at 20k USD, litecoin was $400 USD so one can speculate that litecoin can be trading at least 50k usd if bitcoin one day reaches 1 million dollars.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: May 17, 2019, 08:06:05 PM
Dogecoin is currently facing a major correction. Probably the $0.0025 support level will be tested, read more:

https://coincodex.com/article/3630/dogecoin-price-analysis-bears-eye-00025-doge-correction-is-not-over/

Correction is always healthy process especially before bull run get started Doge is very popular and it have very big community I don't think there is any kind of sign of worry soon it will explode to the moon.

If you guys look at the dogecoin history chart, we can see that dogecoin makes this corrections moves to it's low support level in the bitcoin pair so I am expecting to enter doge again at around 20 sats and with luck at 16 sats  Wink
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 16, 2019, 01:03:34 AM
Price is still cheap, down from $1300 ATH, so if we will be able to come back at that price, that's instant x10 profit.
However, you might want to take advantage it on short term, a possible 100% return is easy at this movement it's showing now,
we need to see ETH at $500 then that's already money in short term.

Do you think it will hit $500 any time soon? I have doubts.

If bitcoin goes higher, then ethereum will probably reach $500 within the next few weeks but if bitcoin goes below $7000 then eth and other altcoins will follow the downtrend. Anyway, you guys can see what altcoins can do when bitcoin goes high in price so people that were on the fence about buying crypto you should start thinking on buying if the market starts to sell. Don't miss the chance of a lifetime.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Farewell Cryptopia on: May 15, 2019, 04:47:50 AM
Cryptopia took it's last breath today, before slipping off into eternal slumber.
RIP 'topia you will be missed.

What's next for Noble?
Are we willing to call it a day now too?

It is unfortunate to see what happened to noblecoin. I remember when people back in 2014 were saying that 1 billion coins was a huge supply and 1% premine was a scam and that noble did not had a chance. Years after in 2017 I see them coming out everyday with a much larger supply and all premined in the ethereum blockchain with reserves for the dev teams up to 50%. It's insane! And they have called coins like this a scam. lol

About cryptopia, It is sad to see that they are not going to take our coins out for now if ever. It is going to be a long wait! I did not had that many coins in there but still they are ours.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] (QTUM) - A Scalable Smart Contract Platform w/ Proof of Stake on: May 15, 2019, 04:36:05 AM
this time hodl please. i hate to see this coin going up with much effort then falling down to beginning every time.  Grin

QTUM ATH was 103 usd. When the next bull market reaches it's peak between 2021 and 2022 the qtum chart will challenge it's ATH again and if it breaks it we can see a new ATH so my bets are on at least seeing Qtum trading again for $100. I would not worry much unless there is a huge black swan event.
