141  Other / Meta / Re: What are we going to do about the Shitposters? on: December 07, 2017, 09:07:36 AM
The only way to fix the problem is banning Sig. Ad Campaigns.

Because of the Sig Ad Campaigns there have been thousands of new accounts,Threads,Replies All spam
This makes the forum "Appear" to be very busy and valuable. If you remove the Ad campaigns thousands of accounts will go Dormant and the forum loses $$

You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Revenue is being made by these spammers and will continue.

Sorry Bro you will NOT get this account back due to ADMIN failures.   I know for a fact with Simple machines software they can detect what IP you are using and if it's different than what you normally use. But they won't give it back. Sorry.

Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords

 #1
If you use any sort of Google email service, then the password recovery email will go to your spam folder.

If you want us to recover a hacked/lost account, you need to prove that you own it. Typically, the only acceptable method of proving ownership is by signing a message (including current date and desired new email address) using a Bitcoin address or PGP key associated with the account. A Bitcoin address or PGP key is associated with the account only if the account posted the key/address, sent it in a PM, or if it is still listed in the account's profile.

I very rarely recover accounts if you can't prove ownership as described above. There are alternative ways of proving ownership, but they take too much time. If I point you to this thread, you can't prove ownership properly, and then I ignore your future PMs, this means that I'm not going to recover your account. Create a new one.

Send one PM to Cyrus. If Cyrus doesn't respond after two weeks, you can try sending a PM to me instead. When sending a PM, use a template like this:

Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account <account> has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to <email>. The current date is <date>.
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----
<insert address here>
<insert signature here>
-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...
OR
I sent that address to someone in a PM with PM ID#...

All required info must be in one PM.

Do not create your temporary account using the same email address you want for the hacked/lost account. No two accounts can have the same email address.

So you locked and removed the thread pointing on your failures as an Admin then you undid the post and reinstated the thread!  GJ!
146  Other / Meta / theymos on: October 29, 2017, 12:30:31 AM
You should have broader shoulders to accept Criticism from forum users when they disagree with your BS. You hid an entire thread pointing out your Weakness as an ADMIN and lack of caring for forum users.

Good Job HITLER. But you still have failed many many forum users with a very real problem with their Compromised accounts.

You suck as an Admin and you Don't do your Job!

You can hide this and ban me now fuck you!
147  Other / Meta / Re: Sick of seeing, ACCT. Hacked,Banned,Locked on: October 29, 2017, 12:23:04 AM
So many Hacked/phished/Compromised accounts with Admins doing NOTHING. Just Crickets playing in the background.

When your Account is Hacked/Phised/Stolen/Compromised you should follow these instructions...According to Admins but in Reality it's  Cheesy Go fuck yourself!
148  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie PM changes to address phishing on: October 24, 2017, 10:51:09 PM
How about you address Phishing,Hacked<banned accounts Directly as so many have Begged you in PM's and Emails according to your own guidelines? So many people have provided proof through their posts,PM's and Emails With linked BTC Accounts but yet you put them off and do nothing. Why have users Email you through your own guidelines only to ignore those users?

You have ignored Abused Users of this Forum for years.  IF you can't Do your Job as an ADMIN why the fuck are you here?

You are an Abusive prick.
If you are not willing to do your job as an Admin of this site at least tell those Users they will not get their accounts back instead of ignoring them Douchebag!

People have a real life, and afaik hacked users are getting their accounts back but after few weeks or maybe months..
Forums need a dedicated member to do this job tho..

Back to the subject, any img to have an idea?

Agreed with this part. But it sure as hell doesn't Exist right now.

otrkid70 you right, atleast looks like to me, hacked account is lost forever. Nobody realy cares help recover account back to right owner. Same happen to me, my account was hacked and is lost. What to say here more, probably some kind of 2FA can help, or what else, im not sure.

Nah if the Admins cared about their Fucking positions here instead of pocketing cash more people would be helped.

This problem lies solely on the FAILED Admins Shoulders  both previous and current. This problem goes years back. Even when Badbear was an "Admin"

151  Other / Meta / Re: Sick of seeing, ACCT. Hacked,Banned,Locked on: October 24, 2017, 09:09:11 PM
Ok i get it. I also do starting to accept it but atleast am tryin to get it fair that if I cant get my account back atleast the hacker cant used that one either.

Tho i am also hoping that you would experience the same thing so i could see if you were not to fcking beg as well

I wouldn't beg at all.   IF my account were to get Hacked I would let it go. My account has no Tied postings to any accessible BTC Address from the past. Every BTC Address I have ever used has become corrupt. My account is unprotected right now in a sense that i could not Validate it using any previously posted address.

It's just an account that you will never get back. Get over it and move on.
152  Other / Meta / Sick of seeing, ACCT. Hacked,Banned,Locked on: October 23, 2017, 10:35:49 PM
So So sick of Seeing People complaining about their accounts being Hacked,Stolen,Banned on here. People Obvioulsly can't read from previous posts that these accounts will NEVER Reinstated or given back. (With the Exceptions of a few)

Stop Whining about your shitty account being hacked...No matter what you do or how many E-Mails you send you Won't get them back. Next time stay off the BS Porn sites and stop opening those Fucking Blatent E-mails just begging you to be hacked.

Stop Begging to get your Shitty banned Accounts back....You fucked up and now you have to deal with it.

The Admins here(2) Don't give a rats ass about your complaints or problems. You will not get them back. Please stop begging.

Pathetic!
153  Other / Meta / Re: i sent email to appeal, how long it will takes for reply? on: October 20, 2017, 09:55:10 PM
You will NOT get your Banned account back. If you keep bugging the Admins/Staff/Mods you will get that account banned too no doubt.
154  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk Selling my Email? on: October 18, 2017, 12:40:24 AM
I have too, and I was wondering about this as well.  I don't do any business here really, and
no one else related to crypto has my e-mail address.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Theymos or whoever was doing this.  This is a forum where
scammers aren't banned, and some of the worst behavior takes place with no consequences.
I don't see any other explanation.

Has there been a hacking in the last year?  I haven't been registered all that long.

lol, no. thats imposible. maybe you'v just signed up to some websites before thats why you are recieving those spam messages on your emails inbox.
But I haven't signed up on any sort of ICO or crypto website, and I've been getting those spam e-mails.

There is a second.
155  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk Selling my Email? on: October 18, 2017, 12:35:25 AM
Do not and it's a fact.
From at beginning of my registration never got any spam emails at all! Just checked that one time more.
I made and using currently an email - especially made for this forum. So you have to look at someone else.

I hear what you are saying and i completely looked at all the alternatives. The fact remains i HAVE NOT USED my main Email Address for any crypto website besides bitcointalk.org This is the last time i will say this. Maybe you were not part of the "Hack" maybe it was older members? Maybe Email addresses of Senior members and above are being sold?    Maybe maybe maybe doesn't answer the question though.

I have been here since 2013. I changed my Profile Email to one of my secondaries like 6 Months ago after i started getting "Offers" thinking it might be my Email being sold by this website. I realized my Email has always been hidden from the public on this forum.  It has only been a problem the last few months.

So have any major hacks occurred on the Website in the last 6 months that would make you point your finger to that?
158  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk Selling my Email? on: October 17, 2017, 11:24:43 PM
No, but the forum database was hacked and leaked and these spammy scammy scumfuck ICOs just buy the mailing lists. I keep tagging any Icos who send me emails so hopefully they'll get the message.

Thanks!

I have been getting hammered with NEW ICO offers from shitcoins in my Email. I have ZERO affiliation with any Cryptocoin Websites or Mining programs With the Exception of one....Bitcointalk.org

My Email address is Hidden from my profile and after receiving Dozens of offers i thought i would put a Fake Email on My profile just in case. The offers continue to flow.  How in the fuck is this happening? The only reasonable common Denominator is Bitcointalk is either selling them or their security is a joke.

Correct me if i'm wrong here...Please keep the lame Trolling and the paid Signature campaign spammers to a minimum.

lol, no. thats imposible. maybe you'v just signed up to some websites before thats why you are recieving those spam messages on your emails inbox.  anyway you can just report it or mark them as spam so they cant bothered you anymore. thats solves your problem and this is not really a big deal.

Thanks for the input But, I have never signed up for anything crypto Currency related using my main Email address. I have Multiple Addresses that i use for BS that i don't want replies or offers from crappy companies.  I have NEVER used my main Email address Except for Bitcointalk.org.

I have been marking them as spam but new "Offers" everyday.
