63  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to transfer bitcoins from wallet over to Bitstamp account on: December 10, 2013, 12:40:33 AM
Login to bitstamp, click deposit -> then bitcoin. There should be a bitcoin address, that's where you need to send your coins Smiley
64  Other / MultiBit / Re: transaction not showing on blockchain on: December 08, 2013, 09:34:54 AM
I don't use multibit, but maybe this helps:

A few days ago I read a post with a script to test electrum passwords,
you need ruby to run it, maybe it helps you: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=85495.msg3546401#msg3546401

Good luck!
67  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Cold Wallet Issue on: November 12, 2013, 06:59:46 AM
It is still on the server but not linked on the homepage anymore, here you go:

68  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Cold Wallet Issue on: November 12, 2013, 12:03:26 AM
I had the same problem here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=324614.msg3524989#msg3524989
Downgrading the watchonly/seedless wallet back to 1.8.1 helped as workaround for me.

There are some bugs reported related to exceptions, maybe it will also fix this problem, I need to try later:

69  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 1.9 released on: November 08, 2013, 10:35:53 PM
Hey,

I upgraded my watchonly wallet to 1.9.2, tried to send some coins,
but I could not sign the transaction on my offline pc (older electrum 1.7.1)

Error Message on the offline pc was:
exceptions must be old-style classes or derived from BaseException, not Nonetype

After downgrading the watchonly wallet to 1.8.1 it works again.
Not sure if this is a bug or if I just need to upgrade the offline electrum (too lazy right now, it is a live cd)
70  Economy / Securities / Re: WTB Asicminer direct shares! on: November 06, 2013, 09:29:20 PM
If you find nobody selling, you can also buy shares at havelock and
have them exported to direct shares  Cool
71  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Zeroed balances after restoring wallet on: October 30, 2013, 02:11:29 AM
There is another arrow which you can click to expand the change addresses, maybe it's there.

Username should be in this format.
[username]/[target diff]+[local diff]

username = "name" of worker.
target diff = p2pool difficulty.  must be higher than current min p2pool difficult.  if used by larger miners helps reduce variance (by lower min p2pool diff) of smaller miners.
local diff = difficulty of shares as seen by the miner.  if not used p2pool uses a dynamic difficulty to keep shares / sec low.

Examples:
user             = creates worker with username user and uses dynamic min difficulty for both p2pool shares and local shares.
user/1000     = creates worker with username user and tells it to use difficulty 1000 shares for p2pool
user/200       = the 200 is ignored.  As of the time of writing min difficulty is 650 thus 650 will still be used.
user/1000+1  = creates worker w/ username "user".  p2pool diff shares = 1000, local diff = 1

Hallo,

Code:
2013-10-25 22:40:36.266435 P2Pool: 17310 shares in chain (8866 verified/17314 total) Peers: 6 (0 incoming)
2013-10-25 22:40:36.266739  Local: 1395MH/s in last 10.0 minutes Local dead on arrival: ~1.5% (0-5%) Expected time to share: 5.5 days
2013-10-25 22:40:36.266872  Shares: 0 (0 orphan, 0 dead) Stale rate: ??? Efficiency: ??? Current payout: 0.0000 BTC
2013-10-25 22:40:36.267438  Pool: 27516GH/s Stale rate: 16.1% Expected time to block: 11.6 hours

Was läuft hier falsch?

(Expected time to share)

Und wie kann ich den Fehler beheben?
Code:
[...]
2013-10-25 23:14:40.574763 > Traceback (most recent call last):

2013-10-25 23:14:40.576952 > Failure: twisted.internet.error.ConnectionAborted: Connection was aborted locally, using.
[...]

75  Economy / Economics / Re: ASICMINER blades now 3 Bitcoin Each on: September 27, 2013, 03:35:09 PM
Please be careful with this website, it was registered just a few days ago,
could easily be another scam. Use escrow or go to the official resellers!
76  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTS] Btc for SEPA 0.54 for 50 € on: September 25, 2013, 09:28:49 PM
Bitstamp allows SEPA transfer.

Yes but only to accounts that are in the same country of residence or that have your name as the owner of the account. Being talking with their support for a week, a complete waste of time... I even asked if i could take the risk and live with the consecuences if the xfer was rejected, and they say no and ask me to verify. I don't have an issue about getting verified, but what is the point if they are not going to let me withdraw any money out of it?

I can only deposit bitcoins and withdraw them, thats the reason why i left gox in the first place... I'm getting tired of not having a big and serious exchange...

I have one of those cards too and loaded it via bitstamp a few days ago...
But I live in the EU and after 30. Sept bitstamp needs verification.

Maybe try bips.me , I've read that works too with those cards.
77  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 23, 2013, 08:02:16 AM
Okay so I read that btctc is closing... Is there any way to keep shares? :O

Probably, yes. I highly doubt they'll just disappear...
I think having balls now and loading up on shares in the panic will be quite profitable.

I am literally crying over my keyboard because I don't have coins to buy them cheap shares........
Me too, but it looks like trading has been stopped. Probably PT shares will be xferd to direct.

Something is wrong with the site too, I have a tiny balance, but it does not show up where you
buy. And I had an ask which is gone hmm... Not trusting site enough to send more btc into atm, lol damnit.

Edit: it works now, if you have this problem,go to account -> settings and enter a share withdrawal address... Roll Eyes
78  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange w/ Options, DRIP, 2FA, API, CSV, etc. on: September 23, 2013, 07:44:05 AM
wtf. I have 1 ASICMiner-PT, can this be transfered to a direct share then now?  Undecided
79  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 2asic.com not delivering on: September 20, 2013, 09:51:58 PM
I've joined this forum so I can PM blacklilac to ask him why the orders I (and at least 1 other person) have placed haven't been sent out yet. The site is www.2asic.com, associated with www.asicminer.info and apparently a product company of www.blacklilacfinancial.com.

They claim to guarantee orders will be despatched in no more than 10 days (doesn't specify whether these are business days or not) and in any case, I placed my order on the 31st of August. I tried contacting someone via email on several occasions (no response) and by calling the number listed on their site (repeatedly) which always goes to voicemail.

There are several other troubling aspects to this, but I'd like to PM blacklilac first (as he regularly logs into this forum) to give him an opportunity to resolve the matter before I have to take things further.

I am pretty sure blacklilac is legit and will sort it out, but ofc one never knows, here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=70557

afaik he is ASICMiner shareholder and also had some ads running here for 2asic. Maybe he is drinking whisky in a bar somewhere, last month or
so was pretty rough on AM shareholders  Cry

Notes:

1. If you couldn't access to 192.168.1.254:8000, please try doing a hardware reset by short-cutting the two pins closest to the ethernet socket and try again.
2. Please take additional care to polarity.
