1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam called ''INACTIVITY FEES'' - HitBTC on: March 31, 2024, 08:26:45 PM
I have not received any notification in this regard, and no one in my situation has. And yet, it is not normal to seize a man's property at will.
Regarding the accepted terms and conditions, I repeat, when I agreed and accepted, these abusive clauses, called inactivity fees, were not introduced, but were introduced later, without being announced in any way.

I second that.

Yesterday I experienced the same problems. No more moving coins to my wallet and the “inactivity fee”.
Currently my 133k dogecoin are locked, and 4k of inactivity fee are gone.

I joined the exchange in 2017 and have been doing some trading there, moving btc in and out, all went well at the time.
The last 3 years I’ve been holding my Doge at HitBtc.

I never received an email about their new inactivity and fee mechanism.
Neither about my doge being stuck.

Unable to move my coins to a personal wallet.

Yesterdays 1 doge value in btc was : 0.0000029BTC
The rate offered : 0.00000017986 btc

while Block Difficulty for block #528729 (just now) at Feb 5, 2018 10:16:32 PM was 0.18104591  Huh

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTV] Bitvote -- A Hard Fork of Bitcoin [Official] on: February 05, 2018, 09:07:37 PM

2018/1/20 update: The main chain is released. Please use the code in GitHub (https://github.com/bitcoinvote/bitcoin) to compile and synchronize data.

2018/2/02 update: Block explorer is released: https://block.bitvote.one

Bitvote has forked successfully at Bitcoin block height 505050. Bitvote is a fork of Bitcoin, and its abbreviation is BTV. There will be no pre-mining and additional issuance. Bitvote uses the CryptoNight algorithm.

why can i see block 505049 generated on Jan 19, 2018 10:51:22 PM blocksize 1012051 ,
then the first visible block is 505171 generated Jan 20, 2018 4:52:06 PM block size 315.

what happened in between ? aliens  Huh

sorry, I just wanted to have a look at the magic 505050 block.

edit: update: I got to 505050 by browsing back one block at a time in detailview.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTV] Bitvote -- A Hard Fork of Bitcoin [Official] on: February 05, 2018, 01:38:18 AM

i’m still mining there. (I hated the other pools)
however i think they’re either still on testnet, or not enough miners.
there is a 0-1 off bug <— i think
Miners: 1=0, 2 shows 1. 3 shows 2.

 Embarrassed GRMBL ! ! !  Embarrassed

Need some miners to test my pool https://btv.coin-miners.info, but remember the pool is on testing mode until we find a block and get confirmed and after i send with success the first payout to the miners then the pool will work normaly

Huh is the pool out of testing mode yet  Huh
see my messages above, the rest looks fine.

@BTV.COIN-MINERS.INFO

The first worker is never shown (or counted in a lot of screens).
The difficulty in “statistics” says 256.

Isn’t that supposed to be difficulty 1 for BTV ?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTV] Bitvote -- A Hard Fork of Bitcoin [Official] on: February 04, 2018, 05:11:20 PM
Sadly i’m the only miner there.
Other miners please join me there !

joined
p.s. fixed diff 1 - Pool Workers:0 - Pool Hashrate: 0.000 Kh/s
sorry for my English...

While i was solo mining it showed 0 workers. Now it’s 1.
I guess the counter starts at -1. (+1=0, +2=1  Shocked

I hope more people join !
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BTV] Bitvote -- A Hard Fork of Bitcoin [Official] on: February 04, 2018, 01:37:39 PM

I switched to miningpool btv.coin-miners.info
as the other pool bitvote.one seems to behave weird and doesn’t give much info about what you mined. (1 share in 4 days :-)

At least btv.coin-miners.info has a normal mpos interface, and shares seem to add up  Grin
13000 shares after one night of mining  Shocked

Sadly i’m the only miner there.

Bitvote blockchain browser on line, https://block.Bitvote.one/; Bitvote is online after bitcoin 505050 height fork and the main chain is in sync with the public in foreign communities. In my opinion, it is the only split coin that is currently comparable to bch. At present, 1btv is convertible 0.0003bch. It's completely undervalued.

Ive been mining BitVote (btv) for three days with bitvotepool.com and coinex.com
but no payments yet !!!

Are the btv blockchain and mining operational yet, yes or no ?

The BTC blockchain is as I write at block 507326, so well over 505050 (!!???)

Thanks for creating a block explorer for btv, but I get “ Ooops! 404 Page not found Sad

Is it possible to get the CoinShield folder zipped and available for download, so a newcomer doesn't need to download from peers?  I got stuck on a block and had to delete my databases (probably corrupted when my computer crashed) but it takes 2 days to download again Sad

I up vote this as a feature for the next wallet ! (dl+extract on first install). perhaps share it p2p. Downloading a full BlockChain takes ages.
Who's with me ?

Just curious,,
why do you manually have to set the (min) difficulty ?

auto diff is not dev yet  Roll Eyes
