OK, I have finally managed to mine behind a firewall (i.e. NAT)

The problem is that your computer do not have an IP to connect with the server(the pool).

Here is my solution:

Go to your VPS and:


Edit-add: I am not sure if you need to su so the $ might be #, as my user has all the privileges of the root.
xxxx is the port you choose

Run socat under cygwin, and:

xxxx is the port you choose, the same above.

Run minerd with command line or batch file:


Please note that the "-d -d -d -d" after the socat commands are for diagnostic purposes, so showing you what is happenning, i.e. you can completely remove them. I have just managed to run it, so some tunning might be necessary

Same problem here. Check their withdrawal status button *. There is a diagram explainning the withdrawal system. When valid we still need to wait for them to send it to the blockchain and than see if it reached. I am waiting here too, to  stake my first magis

   I do not want to underestimate any of the other (arguably for some) very nice features: POS-II, PoM (lol), Tor (in future), etc.
   But I must admit that the most interesting feature here is that magi STILL is CPU-only. I think that that's the most attractive part for most people. I hope Devs keep it as it is. XMG have all the support I can provide economically at the moment.

Unfortunately, I have tried it and than started a search to mine via other ports like 8080, 80, 81 etc. Thank you for the info.

PS+Edit: I did have succesfully mined XMG with another pc with the standart intructions for suprnova.
PS+Edit2: I have tried both, neither suprnova nor nonce-pool provide a port like 8080, 8333, 80 etc. Just 7127 and 4090 respectively which don't work for me behind a firewall.

Any one willing to help? To implement a socat feature to mine behind a firewall
Here is my batch file for socat running under cgywin:
"socat TCP-LISTEN:80,fork TCP:xmg.suprnova.cc:7127"
and my batch file for minerd: "minerd -o stratum+tcp://10.1.1.1:80 -u username.worker -p password"
I have tried a lot of combinations but didn't succeed (ofcourse username.worker etc are the appropriate ones in my file)

Umarım ben yanılıyorumdur ama adına soyadına kadar ulaşılabilen, biraz uğraşsam adresini bulabileceğim (ki ben bayağı acemi sayılırım) biri 4$ için hırsızlık gibi bir kisvenin altına giriyorsa ben daha da gelmem davos'a. Dediğim gibi biraz erken olabilir ama bu muhabbetin akabinde offline olunca, insan kıllanıp sinirleniyor haliyle. 1-2 gün bekleyip sonrasında scammer'ı yapıştırıcam, belki ufak çaplı bir online takibe de girişirim.
   Tamam ben de suçluyum, niye önce ben gönderiyorum, escrow yok mu vs. ama ne diyeyim yahu 4 dolar ya. Zaten km'leri de bir arkadaşıma hediye olarak almak istedim. Negatif (ancak doğru) eleştirilerinize önceden "hırsızın hiç mi suçu yok yahu" diyesim geldi de.
