Newbium Eth distribution will begin after Ethereum hard fork deadline has been passed.  We have been looking at ways to make the distribution process simpler for everyone.  Full information regarding wallets we are using & the token contract will be provided once the hard fork has been passed.

Yes, they will be able to earn rewards by sharing and build their reputation by posting high quality original content.  Original content has the most weight and is the most important for getting rewards.  Copying content from other sites will not have much weight.

We are currently on NXT 1.0 but once ARDOR (NXT 2.0) is released and tested it will open up many good possibilities for us.  Sidechains will allow us to do many things we cannot do now.

Yes, https://coins.newbium.com will be very similar to Steemit, Facebook, etc as a social media site where anyone can post content.  But keep in mind that we are focused only on crypto related content.  Also we are already a leader in real time crypto market information with the visualization part of newbium.  So with real time crypto market information + crypto related user generated content, we are already seeing something very unique taking shape.

The rewards system is still being fleshed out but it will definitely reward those who provide content.  We have not decided if voting will be used but sharing is one action which is already confirmed.  So users will be rewarded for sharing content to social media even if they are not the original posters of the content.

The reputation system will also be integrated into the rewards system....we intend to build a meritocracy so that only those who provide the best content (analysis, news, information, etc) will have the best ranking.

Although we can see various monetization options our focus at this point is to get the content generation cycle started.  The more high quality content we generate on the platform the more our organic reach increases and the more users we will attract. The more users we have the more we can monetize....revenue streams we have already highlighted are subscriptions and commissions from shapeshift trading.
