Hi, I was wondering is there a designated date when people around the world celebrate Bitcoin invention or creation of cryptocurrencies in general? I mean commonly accepted tradition, something like International Programmers' Day: Programmers are greeted with positive comments like “Happy Programmer’s Day” in some work environments on International Programmers' Day. The observance is also mentioned among programming communities in online forums and social media, including on Facebook or Twitter. I think it would be fun to have such a day for the crypto community It would be so nice !!!

Silly question right? Unless there is a backup method or heritage system it obviously vanishes for eternity, but the point was to discover methods that you are aware for avoiding such risks. Well, it's not a risk, it's a certainty, but there are other risks of losing access to the crypto account aswell. Some like: * death... obviously * house burns down along with hard wallet * one can accidently loose his cold storage or hard wallet * maybe other you figure out and I add them So, what storage do you use to ensure your savings, or what do you think would be the best solution to overcome these risks? UPDATE: I started this discusion because I can't see a decentralized solution for that, most of the centralized ones are largely known (wills at layers, online wallets and so on) but do not meet the security criteria as still imply a trusted party. Better simply handover the private key directly to the inheritant IMO. What I want to determine is if it IS realy a concern for the comunity or not, and if yes than we can contribute all together to the creation of a such product. But again I realy do think it should be built decentralized and trustless. Ok we never think about dying but good question

I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it. I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.
But, is it possible?
I think it isn't

Bitcoin right now keeps on increasing its value, and many more cryptocurrencies are occurring. Do you think someday bitcoin will end or will be replace by other cryptocurrencies?
Is it too late to invest? Is there a chance that bitcoin will be down?
If survives this year, I think bitcoin will Last for a while

As the age of cryptocurrency comes into full force, it will facilitate a subversively viable taxation avoidance strategy for many of the technically savvy users of peer-to-peer payment systems. In doing so, cryptocurrency use will act to erode the tax revenue base of national jurisdictions, and ultimately, reposition taxation as a voluntary, pay-for-performance function. In this post, I cover some of the benefits such a strategy will have for cryptocurrency investors, why our notion of taxation is ripe for disruption, and why cryptocurrency taxation is enabled by default. I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
taxes , because of that

I have seen an interesting statics about the demographic on bitcoin users. There is very one that is very intriguing, the pie graph that show the Person engaged in Bitcoin by gender. The graph shows only 5 % on the total are female. Does this show that MEN are moreof a risk taker than women? Or that MEN are more impulsive than WOMEN? What do you think Guys? Please see link here. https://coin.dance/stats I am girl, just right here

Be ready and aware that 2018 is the year of regulatory reckoning. Countries around the world are trying to determine how they are going to treat cryptocurrencies. Securities and Exchanges Commission (SEC) has halted several ICOs and hinted at the need for greater crypto regulation. I am into cryptocurrency because of freedom, I can't deny to myself that I have worries regarding this issue. And as an investor, I really have no choice but to stay with crypto once the governments around the world have control to cryptocurrencies (if that became possible). So as much as we can, also invest with physical properties with what you've earned. For we don't know what will happen next with our money in the digital world. This is not an advice. It's simply a shared idea. How about you? What do you have in mind? I don't think so

Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet. BTCSo now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. I think it would not be safe for them

Today I heard that Samsung is going to make bitcoin mining hardware especially Antminer S9 which I heard that they will name it as 'Samsung S9', with this act by Samsung everyone can understand that Samsung is in the favor of bitcoin and they will strongly support bitcoin. Almost all of the Samsung users will then know about this device and so more and more people will then know about bitcoin and the demand and the users of bitcoin will be increased too much.
