281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Altcoins Discussion Are About ETH on: November 11, 2018, 05:28:03 PM
Almost every discussion about altcoins majorly is centered around ETH, this has taken over the first page of the https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0 section. This goes to show the important of the coin in the space and how much premium is being placed on it. My belief is that ETH will not die and most ICOs will continue to launch on the network. This will make the price to back up as the demand for it will increase.

The price of Ethereum will begin to recover exactly when the ICO will again begin to gain popularity. Now it is simply impossible, even the top ICO is not gaining on its sale of 100% of the funds, so Ethereum is not needed and it will decline again. A market turn into a bullish trend will push to buy all tokens and start investing ICO then Ethereum will start to grow 3 times faster than bitcoin.
282  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your experiences with Cryptopia (exchange)? on: November 11, 2018, 05:14:48 PM
Today, the CMC has more than 300 different cryptocurrency exchanges and Cryptopia - one of the many. Cryptopia is no different from most of them, but I try not to trade on it because there are too small volumes. Yes, there is a chance to sell well the tokens are not in the top 100 but it happens so that the deal will have to wait a very long time. And the most important disadvantage is that trading with a large volume is simply impossible. When buying 1 bitcoin, there is an increase in the price to 50-100% because there are few tokens in the glass.

286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your future plans with altcoins? on: November 10, 2018, 06:45:46 PM
The portfolio today consists of a thin wallet which fits easily something that used to only fit in a suitcase. But do not despair - the main income is the experience that everyone has received in this fall and the opportunity to continue to trade on.
Plans? plans remain the same to keep and wait, but of course to revise its portfolio in the direction of optimization of altcoins and throw all the trash.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 7 Reasons why you don’t play blockchain games on: November 10, 2018, 06:39:53 PM
First of all, I do not play blockchain games, but in all other games because it is a waste of time! Yes sometimes the game can be fun, but gave up and frankly sometimes even regret that so much time previously spent for games (all games). Too fast time passes for them-life flies by and in return nothing-it is better to do business, be with family, children and enjoy life!

289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why many projects are dead on: November 06, 2018, 02:12:53 PM
I'm not surprised. Today, 95% of the published projects are of no interest. Even if the project has lived up to publication on the stock exchange, it is simply useless, because it is garbage. Their price will increase only if there is a common bullish market and people just start buying all the crypto-currencies again.

It costs less to mine gold than it does to mine Bitcoin

The inefficiency of mining Bitcoin laid bare… Over the past few weeks, the criticism aimed at Bitcoin mining has grown. Chiefly for the fact that Bitcoin uses a lot of electricity to mine

I don't think that theory makes any sense. Think about how bitcoin mining can be inefficient and harmful more than mining, gold, oil and natural gas. People have been pumping out of the earth for years all that has accumulated in it for thousands of years and all this for their own good. Most of the resources are spent on food, although more than half of the products are simply thrown into the trash.
Electricity production today can be much more efficient than it is now and therefore bitcoin mining can be safe.
All you have to do is switch to alternative energies such as biofuels, wind energy and solar energy. It is necessary to introduce these types of energy and restore the earth's balance only so we can help our planet. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be mined by solar energy and nuclear energy-let's go for it together

I am not at all surprised by this, because the interest in cryptocurrency today is a normal phenomenon. Why can't stars and actors buy bitcoin? Why they can't read and share news about cryptocurrency. Everyone wants his money to work and the cryptocurrency market is one of those places where you can multiply your savings if you make the right contribution.
Today, a huge number of celebrities and politicians are talking about cryptocurrency because it is at least relevant!

293  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 05, 2018, 02:54:42 PM
Many analysts have recently said that bitcoin will begin to grow this year and will reach 40-45 thousand dollars. But today, more and more people are inclined to believe that bitcoin will begin to grow only in 2019 with another bullish trend. We are now in the process of accumulation which may last for several months and then continue to increase. The point of flight according to numerous estimates will reach about 120-150 thousand dollars in bitcoin. So shop until it's too late and wait in the wings
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Asteroid mining company Planetary Resources acquired by blockchain firm on: November 05, 2018, 02:48:46 PM
Today, only the lazy has not yet created a project with blockchain technology and is not trying to realize his idea with the help of ICO. In today's real world, all who at least as it is understood in the crypto currency are combined into groups and begin to promote their delusional product under a beautiful name and with a beautifully written white book. in 99% of cases, projects will never find their application in the real world because they are not necessary or such projects already exist.
If someone decided to take advantage of this wave of ICO and run a block network for the production of asteroids - I'm sure that this idea will not break in the first year. It's just another money laundering, because it's fashionable now.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2018, 02:38:38 PM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

As strange as it may seem, but the world is not ready to move completely to the use of cryptocurrency in their daily lives. And this is primarily due not to the readiness of a person to use but to the readiness of the cryptocurrency to withstand such loads. Every day in the world hundreds of thousands of financial transactions are made all over the world and each operation has its own network and its own Bank. Now imagine what will happen to the bitcoin network or any other cryptocurrency if you put such loads on it now. It just won't hold and will collapse. Yes, today there are already technologies with hundreds of thousands of transactions per second but it is still not enough.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which site are you using for keeping track of the value of tokens? on: November 04, 2018, 03:27:15 PM
So, there are a lot of sites on the market keeping track of the value of our tokens. Of course coinmarketcap.com is most used. But I don't like it that much. On the homepage there is just too little information and I can't keep track on my portfolio.

I'm using livecoinwatch.com a lot. More information and the possibility to built up a portfolio. But it's also kinda buggy.

So, I'm still looking for the perfect solution. Which site or app are you guys using to keep track of your portfolio?

Check out this website: https://www.coingecko.com/en?order=desc&sort_by=market_cap.
This is a similar site with CMC, but there are much more tokens than CMC, including those that have not yet entered the exchange and who still have an ICO/
297  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best cryptocurrency to invest in 2018 on: November 04, 2018, 03:24:00 PM
1 ) NEO
2 ) Cardano
3 ) Monero
4 ) Bitcoin
5 ) Ethereum
6 ) Litecoin
7 ) Binance Coin
8 ) EOS

Do you guys agree? whats your top coins for 2018?

Source: https://altpocket.io/article/best-cryptocurrency-to-invest-2018

All of these tokens are undoubtedly excellent for contributing your money, but this is only a small part of the entire crowd of tokens that are worth paying attention to. Yes, these tokens are included in the top 20 cryptocurrencies and are more reliable in comparison with other cryptocurrencies in the event of a market fall. But as we know the market has already sagged by 80% and most likely reached the bottom. I advise you to look at a larger list of tokens as other tokens will grow much stronger than these listed coins when the market turns..
I would additionally advise :
1. Metronome is the world's first cross-blockchain cryptocurrency that enables decentralization and provides institutional class endurance.
2. QuarkChain is a high-performance blockchain that aims to achieve millions of transactions per second (TPS).
3. Seele-works on the basis of scalable neural consensus Protocol to provide high bandwidth parallelism between large-scale heterogeneous nodes and is able to form a unique heterogeneous forest multi-network ecosystem
4. IoTeX (Blockchain)
A decentralized network for the Internet of things (IoT), powered by a blockchain focused on privacy.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoins aren't tied to a conventional currency how did they get so valuable? on: November 04, 2018, 03:10:41 PM
If Bitcoins aren't tied to a conventional currency, how did they get so valuable?

The market consists not only of cryptocurrencies but of many other items that are of some value. If you say that bitcoin is not supported by real money, then where is the proof that any other cryptocurrency is provided with this money and costs exactly as much as there is on the SMS. Where is the proof that for example the world's leading companies and their shares are worth the price that they offer? like Apple or Microsoft? The essence of the market is not to provide something with real money but demand. If a stock or cryptocurrency is needed by buyers, it will cost more if there is no cheaper and not necessarily a reinforcement of assets with gold or real money. The market is driven by supply and demand.
