he's probably being sarcastic. i thought chicago was super hot in the summer though. seems like there's inclement weather there.

Yes I was! These temps are subnormal, and Chicago isn't SUPER HOT in the summer, though it had its years.

Lol. Last time I was in Chicago was in 2005 during the record setting heatwave that was killing off all the old people. And the last time I was in the midwest, I was in Iowa during the winter of 2009-2010 during a major cold snap where the temps were plunging down below -40F. From what people were saying, it was the coldest winter they'd seen there since the 1930's. Seems like every time I travel to the middle of the country, it's during an extreme in their weather cycle. Lucky me Tongue

We have to download a special client? Sooooo.... You want us to be part of your botnet... Thanks, but no.

Hitleap is trusted. I have been using it for website hits.

Just because it works doesn't mean there's nothing going on in the background that you don't know about. Thanks for the input. But I'm still gonna stay away from this one.

Hitleap client is safe and very well trusted, but since it automatically switches between various websites and you can't vouch for the security of those sites, then it is recommended to run it in a virtual machine.

still not gonna touch it with the 10-foot pole that is a virtual machine. i've got too much sensitive data on my machine to even think about risking it. besides, i make 10x more in a day from mining than what OP's offer works out to.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mining equipment, eBay and PayPal on: August 01, 2014, 12:09:29 AM
Thanks for this. I will see how listing it goes.

I'm aware that any item you sell on eBay that you cannot prove delivery for can be forcibly refunded by PayPal.

Yes. That's why it's best, if you're going to sell cryptocoins on ebay, to send the buyer a physical paper wallet through the mail with a tracking number attached. That way, if a non-delivery dispute happens to come up at some point, you can give paypal the tracking number to prove to them that it was indeed delivered. Paypal likes physical stuff. So if you can prove that whatever it is was indeed a physical item (and paper wallets do count as physical items) that was delivered to the buyer, chances are the dispute is much more likely to go in your favor.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mining equipment, eBay and PayPal on: August 01, 2014, 12:04:01 AM
in short ... if you accepted or sell crypto-currency ... you will be banned (delete items and no refund of the pay for item presentation).
you can sell crypto-currency miner ... but with "real currency" (sic!) ... wire, paypal, etcs ...

Are you sure? I don't think it's been like that for a while. There's plenty of crypto currency for sale. They even allowed it a while back. There's still a big problem with charge backs for digital currency though as they dont cover digital goods and tend to ignore blockchain proof.

Ebay does allow sales of cryptocurrency now. But it can't be listed in the coins & paper money section like so many people used to do. It has to be listed in the proper section (cryptocurrencies) which is actually a classifieds section and not an auction/buy it now section. The reason for this is ebay doesn't want to be held responsible somehow if you get scammed. If you list it anywhere but 'classifieds: cryptocurrencies', ebay will remove the listing as soon as they notice it.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XIV] Xivra accepted by HostDab ! on: July 31, 2014, 03:13:12 AM
XIV and exchange site now? Huh

None, as far as I know...

XIV/BTC market on xnigma.com is still open. no real volume to speak of though. but that could just be because almost nobody knows about that exchange.

8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trouble with finding business on: July 27, 2014, 12:46:34 PM
find a payment processor like coinpayments.net or bitpay that maintains a public list of all the merchants that use their service. people regularly look through these lists searching for businesses that accept btc. it's free advertising and you get a stable payment processor to handle your btc payments out of the deal.
9  Other / Meta / Re: is selling database of people with credit cards allowed here in bitcointalk? on: July 27, 2014, 12:37:33 PM
It is a criminal offense to sell credit card numbers.

that. so much that.

if you really wanna do it though, try taking it to the derpweb. torchan is probably your best bet. somebody on there will probably want to buy. just be careful with it, whatever you do. law enforcement is everywhere.

MAKE $5000 A WEEK FROM BUYING IT 597 THEN WP TAIT UNTIOL THE PRICE GOES UP TO 595 2 DOLLER PROFIT

Ummm... How is the price going UP if it goes from 597 to 595? Last time I checked, that's a DROP in price. Unless you're using some kind of math that I've never heard of before...

14  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: buying 16btc via PAYPAL on: July 26, 2014, 10:32:55 PM
actually i do would you like to skype screenshare and ill login to my social media AND paypal to show you? remove the negative trust i got people whove already viewed i have 9600 in paypal as well as other large deposits. people like you tomato just be throwing around negative rep to new users and fuck them over from the beginning.

If you really do legitimately have 9600 in your paypal account and the paypal account is legitimately owned by you, then you can jump through the necessary hoops. Either buy an amazon code from gyft.com or get yourself a moneypak or something else that isn't reversible. Showing us your account(s) via skype means nothing. Just because you have the passwords doesn't mean you own the accounts. Passwords are EASILY obtainable via phishing attacks. I could phish theymos's paypal account password and then create a facebook page pretending to be him if I wanted to. Still doesn't mean I'm theymos. That's why it means nothing, especially when there's almost $10k on the line.

not looking to do the extra stuff. simply looking to consistently offload elance project funds for btc. simple as that.

buying an amazon code with paypal via gyft.com takes literally 2 minutes. If you can't take the time to do that, nobody here can take the time to sell you 16 BTC. Paypal is reversible, which means the risk is all on us if we decide to accept it. Until you've gained at least some bit of trust here, that's just the way it is. Simple as that.
18  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: (clubminer) took my $600 Paypal and only gave me $40 on: July 26, 2014, 07:24:19 AM
A piece of advice to you, quickbits: If you want pull a convincing scam, make up one story and stick to it.

If, in the process of trying to pull a scam on someone, you yourself get scammed, don't come crying to us. You have nobody but yourself to blame.

I'm also gonna go out on a limb here and say that eveRRR is an alt account owned by quickbits seeing that it's a brand new account with (as of now) zero posts unrelated to this scam accusation or trying to buy btc from other users.

Nice try quickbits/eveRRR, whoever you are...
