Thanks for providing a great service!

this is become a competitor of bitcoins
but you fix the system, until it's same as bitcoin system
thanks

Don't take this the wrong way, but..... Can we get this in English please?
3  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: August 11, 2014, 06:43:19 AM
Is coinjar still operating?

Yes. I get regular emails and have used them many times.

Start off with a small purchase if you are tentative (if you are new they limit your buying ability and build it up over each subsequent trade in any case).

And always remember, any bitcoins that someone else holds the private key for aren't really your bitcoins.

I emailed Wood Law with all my case details (trying to get refund) . They seem unresponsive. They do not pick up their phone or answer repeated emails. Has anyone had luck working with Wood Law on refunds?

Maybe they are busy working on intelliSue?

Annnnnnnd .... its over.

Hashing has stopped.

btc account balance is down to 1.13 BTC

 Roll Eyes

Well, it's been entertaining.  Can't say I got my money's worth, though.
6  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: July 02, 2014, 04:32:11 AM
Wish I had never heard of bitcoin securities.  Would be much, much, much wealthier with just my original bitcoins.

I've lost more on Bitcoin mining ASICs than I have lost on Bitcoin securities, but I feel your pain.
7  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: The official BitcoinPaperWallet.com thread -- updates and news. on: June 17, 2014, 12:34:09 AM
Nice work.

I notice you changed the pattern on the private key obfuscation panel - any particular reason?

...
At least he is active on Crypto Trade -

Was online there yesterday.

Buying shares for 1/10 of the reimbursement amount?

Maybe transferring the shares of those of us still waiting?

Everytime Ken has said that something is a top priority that something doesn't get worked on.

Quite possibly the truest thing that has been stated in this entire thread.

Might be someone picking up shares for the divs that will be released on the 21st.

Looking forward to receiving my dividends on the 21st.  Shame I still don't have my shares yet....

We are currently running one of our Demo boards on BTCGuild and our total hashing rate is:

Team AMC:

 211435   926.93 GH/s
""Our existing hardware assets from AMC liquidation
6 Avalon miners, currently running on BTC Guild under "Team AMC" for around 430 GH/s;
An order of Avalon chips from steamboat's batch #1, for 68 Klondike-16 boards, rated at 68*16*282 = 307 GH/s;
An order of 20,000 Avalon chips (end of May and beginging of June orders), for a combined hashrate of 20,000*282 = 5,640 GH/s.

In total, around 6,377 GH/s, expected to be fully operational in the middle of August."

In a recent news video from about a month ago, it was clear you still had those machines. Thats 737GH so I dont know what to expect your demo board is worth - 190GH.

Without further explanation or (im serious) a photo, my assumption would be that you threw an antminer into your collection at a simple 375Mhz (190GH+/- 2GH) overclock.

nobody understands what is going on, and you are evidently a man of few and imprecise words. Maybe photography would be more your style if you actually want to post useful updates

AFAIK the kondikes were never delivered.  And the 20k chips were refunded because Avalon fucks their customers.  So all we have that is "old" is the 6 avalons, for 430GH/s.

I can't say what I do know, but I can say what I don't know and that is I hadn't been aware that Avalon chips were even an option until I read that speculation yesterday in this thread.

Also, while the Avalon website has a countdown timer which seems to line up with Ken's Wednesday announcement, Ken was hoping to make his announcement as early as last week.

I don't think this Wednesday is the guaranteed announcement deadline but hope Ken can make it work.

I'm pretty sure I saw a reddit thread regarding the Avalon chips. I didn't post in it because my contribution would have boiled down to "Fuck Avalon" (having been burned three times by their batch three debacle).

At this point who knows  Huh

Nobody knows, but rampant idle speculation has got to be more fun for everyone than the other stuff that's been going on here lately.

Back on topic. So this Wednesday news won't be a 28nm then?

News will be nothing of value, nothing but words - guarantee it.

My guess is for something more substantial, along the lines of "we're buying some next-gen Avalon chips to build miners to fill customer orders and mine with as a temporary stop-gap until our custom 28nm chip is ready"

At which point we will have come full circle to near enough to 12 months ago, having achieved almost nothing yet burned and spent and lost much.

And I expect the cycle of incompetence, delays and excuses to continue until the whole thing implodes.  I hope I'm wrong.

Where is this avalon information coming from? Why would we buy avalons? I doubt we have enough money to produce the 28nm chip let alone buy avalons AND produce a 28m chip.

You nailed it we cant produce a 28nm chip or any chip so the most likely news is that we are buying AM or avalon chips.

Yep, our 28nm eASIC was cancelled, our 55nm was cancelled, so far we're 0 from 2 in chip production and nothing that's happened in the last 12 months makes me believe the third try will be the charm.

We can't buy AM chips - AM are competent, deliver on time, and don't screw their customers.  Which is why I predict we'll buy Avalon chips (despite getting burned before), and we'll get burned again, and again, until there is nothing left but a smoking ruin.

Funny (?) thing is, I was pretty much a fence-sitter with a "wait and see" and "give Ken a chance" attitude until this latest round of failures (cancelled 55nm) were delivered via a third party news article.  That slap in the face to shareholders was the last straw for my cautious optimism.  On the plus side, if this debacle actually delivers anything other than hot air and promises, imagine how happy us doubters will be!

So let me ask - what would excite you?

Would tape-out get you excited? That would mean 5-10 weeks for prototypes....
What about "Test chip in hand"?

I wonder when Ken actually started the 28nm full custom.

Weekly Update 2/19/2014

We have started with a new vendor for our 28nm project.

Ken is on a war path to prove trolls wrong... roll on wednesday.

Given our history of half-truths and last minute changes in direction, delays and vapour ware, nothing short of test chips hashing on a publicised address with a message signed by Ken would make me believe.
17  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 10, 2014, 06:16:42 AM
Well written, so do I have what it takes you ask, well ask again in about 14 days.

And then in 14 days, ask again in an additional 14 days because there will be another setback that makes no sense.

Quoted for truthyness and predictionability.

My 2 uBit, the non-update will be defended vehemently by those that were defending the last non-update and those that made excuses for shareholder news being broken to us by a third party news article.

I so very much want to be wrong.  On the plus side, the losses incurred by relatively paltry shareholding pale into insignificance compared to other dud investments I've made.
18  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: March 03, 2014, 09:54:46 PM
I'd be somewhat appeased if dividends were dispersed to us immediately as a show of faith… at this point it feels like we'll never see anything back on this dud.

If this 28nm thing is real, then chances are the withheld dividends are what's paying for it.

As was mentioned earlier, the IPO was supposed to raise funds for Avalons and the eASIC stuff.

I can't recall how much we spent/got refunded on the Avalons, and we have no idea how much of what we spent on eASIC has been refunded (and if those refunds were in cash or in-kind).

Even with our mining (ie. withheld dividends) I too find it hard to believe that, after buying People's ASIC and paying for a full production run (isn't that what Ken told us happened?), then cancelling that production run (money back? who knows?) that we would have enough money for a 28nm chip.

Pretty much up until the most recent news was broken to us shareholders via a reporter, I was leaning heavily towards the "give it a chance, we've had some problems but everything is moving in the right direction" camp.

This latest slap in the face to shareholders has flipped that 180 degrees.  I'm not saying a lawsuit is the way to go (right now), but I hope Ken realises that every time he takes a dump on his shareholders, like he did this week, he turns a few more supporters into sceptics, some skeptics into disbelievers, and makes the disbelievers angry enough to want to tear the whole thing down just to get at Ken.

Ken, for the love of all that is good, get your act together.

We have started with a new vendor for our 28nm project.

Wat?

Seriously, what does that mean?  That we're dumping eASIC?

If so, what did we get for our million dollars?  How much of our million dollars are we getting back in cash?  How much are we getting back in-kind?
20  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinJar - Australia's first VC-backed Bitcoin startup on: February 18, 2014, 10:59:06 PM
I've used Coinjar before once, and everything went as advertised.
But this second time I am having problems with my deposit at the bank not coming through (filler still doesn't show the money in my account).
As I have used their printout NAB deposit slip, there can be no mistake on my part.
24 hours later - no money, coinjar isn't replying to emails or tickets raised at their site.
Not happy.
Will go elsewhere next time.
Buyer beware coinjar, definitely.

So, did your money come through eventually?  I would have hoped after a posting such as yours, you would have at least had the decency to come back and either confirm they stole your money, or that it eventually came through.
