1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Larry @ vxminers.com is a thief on: April 01, 2014, 10:18:57 PM
First off thanks for serving our country, and sorry about the scam. What you could do for at least me to attempt to track this guys down is post more information. You say you have emails? Post the header information ex: the ip the email originated from. Post any other information you may have also anything is helpful. I'm not sure if this post will get moved or if you are aloud to post this info so to be safe shoot me a PM with all the information you can.

Who knows what could turn up but these would be the steps I take in a situation like this.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Island on: March 31, 2014, 07:37:51 PM
This should become real... I know for sure this can become a reality the question we have to ask is, when will USA bomb us for not allowing there banks to take over and there "democratic" leaders to hold top positions in office.
3  Bitcoin / Meetups / Any Las Vegas meetups? on: March 31, 2014, 07:21:27 PM
Anyone live here in Las Vegas and know of any meetups or want to set one up? Vegas is my home town, I just recently moved back would love to join the Vegas Bitcoin Community if there is one.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is becoming obsolete. on: March 31, 2014, 07:15:18 PM
If you honesly believe bitcoin will become obsolete then you shouldnt be here, this site of the believers of new money.  We are the people and we say what goes not the banks and our governments, we have to all stand together against there takedown on bitcoin.  They fear it, so lets roar!!!

+1 so should everyone else on this forum...
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is doomed. Thanks IRS!!! You Ass hats! on: March 31, 2014, 06:48:23 PM
One thing that tells you this article is point blank retarded...

They talk about taxing each bitcoin you have differently based on how much it was when you bought it etc. There is no way of tracking this and this is not how the taxes work. If you trade BTC for BTC you don't get taxed. If you spend BTC for services and goods there is NO TAX.

If you cash out 1 million dollars worth of BTC to USD you better believe you need to pay taxes and if you think you did not have to do this before the IRS announcement you don't make shit in the first place so don't worry about it.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name something you've actually BOUGHT with bitcoin on: March 31, 2014, 06:39:38 PM
$1000+ Target Gyft
$400+ Walmart Gyft
$100 Burgerking Gyft
$2000 Amazon Gyft
$250+ The D Casino restaurant and giftshop combined
$900+ Overstock.com
$600 Bitmaintech.com Antminer S1
$100+ Website hosting and servers

Over all I've spent over BTC4.2 in March alone.

I don't have tons of it I'm not rich just got lucky on some altcoins and am looking into increasing my farm just a bit to make around $50 a day in BTC is my goal.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is A joke and will never last. on: March 31, 2014, 06:33:05 PM
OP sends money to a friend, transaction takes 15 minutes to verify... OP quits crypto currency.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin today? on: March 31, 2014, 05:15:13 AM
I have never purchased bitcoin with usd and it would be a stupid thing to advice others not to purchase it also because that would hurt the value but I would never buy bitcoins. I'm a miner I mine bitcoin I've spent bitcoin multiple times on overstock.com for computer equipment, shampoo and jewelry for the wife. I've also spent bitcoin in las vegas at The D Casino. I've also spent bitcoin to purchase miners from bitmaintech and other locals here in vegas. More and more people are accepting bitcoins now on craigslist and other classifieds.

I think of bitcoin like paypal but with more potential and less centralization. Remember when paypal started getting known to everyone it was crazy to store money online but look what paypal has done for online transactions and think of what the open crypto platform can improve on this so much possibility.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can't miners increase the block reward? on: March 31, 2014, 05:08:10 AM
Unfortunately miners or peers on the network have no control over the amount of coins generated per block. But if you know who does have the power to do this might be a bit scary.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: x11 Mining Guide on: March 30, 2014, 08:38:37 PM
How about instead of another fake algorithm that uses "less energy" and generates "less heat" lets work on the false positive in the virus warnings. Call me stupid but I'm almost 100% sure its a rootkit and if it's not those false positive warnings are telling you and everyone else that you are opening your computer to more vulnerabilities.

We need legit programming we don't need more hex edited shit with a rootkit binded to minerd ty men.
11  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ant Miner S1 - Need Help on: March 29, 2014, 04:57:32 PM
I just encountered the same exact problem, will post back if I find a fix. As far as I can tell its a problem with showing the stats.

Edit: I shut the S1 down then turned it back on it fixed the problem.

My only explanation is maybe I had another connection to the miner viewing stats at the same time I requested stats donno ;/
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zerocoin - has it's time come? on: March 29, 2014, 07:59:04 AM
Zerocoin offers real anonymity - which we all of a sudden really need.

Anyone have any idea if the devs will add it any time soon (or ever?)

Can you please tell me how a fucking HEX Edited coin is any different and offers any more anonymity then other coins out there? Why even post this thread I really don't understand what the hell some of you are smoking.

You idiots would buy a rock if I told you it makes your mining operation more energy efficient. We need a community that is capable of harnessing some type of brain cells I'm surprised you had the brain power to create an account and post in the right forum ty men.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Nazban's Dummy Guide - How to tell a shit coin on: March 29, 2014, 07:46:17 AM
It seems I have to make this guide for dummies on how to tell a shit coin...

Here are some basic questions and scenarios that will tell you its guaranteed to be a shit coin or pump and dump.

1. If the dev has made multiple coins.
-Come on people seeing posts like "but this dev made this coin!, and that dev worked on this coin!" thanks for letting us know its a scam with these posts.

2. If the software has viruses.
-Did we go back to 1999? Do a virus check people... (I know there are FUDs, and thats why you make sure software is released and tested before a launch)

3. When they claim they are innovating but just changed the name of the coin with a HEX Editor.
-Every wonder why ALL the coins are exact same shit same thing? Means the "devs" did not develop shit ty men. (Granted some coins actually required code to be compiled and they might go somewhere)

4. PREMINED
-Any coin premined for any reason is a scam period. Don't post or argue unless your a "hex editing dev" who needs a quick pump and dump.

5. 99% of coins here on bitcointalk.org will never hit $1 per coin unless its for a week max during the dump.

So next time you are looking for that new coin to mine keep the first 4 tips in mind and remember that #5 is a fact. Thanks for reading shitcoins for dummies Smiley This is not a rant or sarcasm this is the reality here if this is the standard you guys want for crypto (just a bunch of new names and no new innovation moving us forward) then simply we will not move forward and it will all eventually die out.

My next Guide will be on how to use "hex editing devs" and those fun pump and dumps to earn a few or more bitcoin during the first few days of shit coin launch!

PS Yes this was not a joke... people really do not know those 4 easy tips and you can see proof in the announcement forum.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Dying, And why it is different this time. on: March 26, 2014, 08:31:15 AM
They said this last crash then it rose to $1,200 USD. Just wondering how this is different, when this crash has more longevity developments, news and propaganda. For instance the IRS claiming now bitcoin is a possession why would they waste time if they new it was not going to last long. We aren't even nearing the end of mining all the bitcoin.
15  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: If Bitcoin are property, why isn't it bartering? on: March 26, 2014, 08:23:34 AM
At least this possession... the government or any other organizations can't take unless they know the wallet password  Grin. Now lets just hope the NSA are not the real creators of bitcoin and have implemented back doors like they have done other important shit.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we know if Satoshi is still alive? on: March 24, 2014, 07:08:55 PM
Sorry - it will be announced in a few more days that he was on MH370.  RIP

I have  been working closely with his family and we have been able to recover most keys

Oh... to soon.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gambling walking the line? on: March 24, 2014, 06:58:42 PM
What doesn't sit well with me is the fact that this guy tucks in his sweatshirt

That made me laugh, but I'm still building my BTC so I would never gamble it on a gambling site, I however gamble DOGE since I have plenty of it and it is fun. Casinos out here in Las Vegas will accept BTC for restaurants, the gift shops, alcohol and cigarettes but laws need to be made before you can use BTC to gamble or buy chips to gamble.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin environment seems toxic right now... has it felt like this before? on: March 24, 2014, 10:41:55 AM
FUCK THIS SHIT!!

You seriously MUST be CRAZY to have anything to do with BITCOIN!! This is my observation after only three months!!

If you think this is the new frontier in currency, unfortunately you are DELIRIOUS!

My posts are now being moved, and I am called a troll for my negative, BUT HONEST experiences and posts made about the SCAM that is BITCOIN.

My technical issues were never solved, I had two payments never received, even though they were on the blockchain, they were never accounted for in the QT and no "EXPERTS" here have ever solved the problem.
Subjects and posts left are now being manicured, and I'll even go as far as saying it was GRUE who intercepted my P.M., logged onto my PC through Teamviewer, stole my Private keys and deleted the TeamViewer history.

NOW I'm getting allegations of being pseudo and quasi!!

I cannot even find one soul to take what I am saying seriously and offer help.

BITCOIN - Just one giant Ponzi scam run by criminals!

I will taking my own advise given and will be returning with a vengeance!!

You do have a valid point but Im sure the problem with receiving payments to your wallet are from you downloading malicious software/rootkits. Letting some stranger from the internet teamview into your machine is not the smartest idea ever. If you did any kind of research installing software from teamviewer or logmein opens you up to vulnerabilities that anyone on the internet can exploit.

I've been keeping up on bitcoin since 2010 even mined a few coins back then because I'm a geek and thought it would be cool just to say I have some. The bitcoin platform is not bad its the community and the way its used for bad is our problem. Not only newbs (dont take the word as an insult) but my self get the same scammer/unprofessional vibe but that is something we all can change and is something we for sure need to work on if we all as the early adopters of bitcoin expect to see this thing last.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't going anywhere, here's why on: March 24, 2014, 10:11:03 AM
Is there a way not to use isp ?
You don't want to use an Internet Service Provider?
If you don't want to use your own ISP, than you can use e.g. a public WiFi, but just using Tor is enough, if you don't want your ISP to know, what you do on the Internet.

I remember a great quote by a top NSA Agent went something like "If we had a place were all the bad people can go or use like badguys.com it would be great! evil chuckles"

Umm think about it for a sec and then wonder why the NSA is not only hated for spying but placing back doors into encryption as well. We have not lost the war on privacy and a free internet yet. So please stop using "badguys.com".
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't going anywhere, here's why on: March 24, 2014, 04:22:33 AM

This is incorrect if you're using TOR.

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=228869

Unless TOR runs wires or a satellite signal to your modem from a private ISP then you are still sending traffic through your ISP (Which Government has LEGAL access to any time). Your original IP from your ISP may be invisible to online servers and networks but that is not the method the government/cyber security uses.

You login to bitcointalk.org they have your IP address.
You login to bitcointalk.org under VPN/Proxy they have a different IP address.
You use TOR...

All of the above still does not change the fact all of your communication is coming and going straight through your ISP.

The second lie is encrypted data... If you use windows, mac or ubuntu they have already all the access they need for an automated system to detect what you are doing. If you run huge illegal ops or just dont want the NSA in your ass and you use unlisted distros it still does not counter the fact that SSL has been decrypted and is now as useless as the Wireless WEP protocol and WPA alike. We just use it to deter intruders.

You can stay under the micro scope and get away without any action taken on you but to say you can do stuff secretly online while you are using ISP's that are designed to monitor what you are doing, the only solution is to not use an ISP that monitors you and here in the US there are very FEW left.

Chances are if cryptocurrency and mining are made illegal here in the US it will turn out like pirating. No matter what you do YES they can find out legally if you are but chances are if you only download a program or a movie or a new game a few times a year I can guarantee nothing will ever happen except a silly letter from your ISP saying they will shut you off.

The big mining farms that are actually using bitcoin for 100% of there income (bills, rent, food etc) will be hit no one will get away with operations this big in the US if it becomes illegal. Right now the way bitcoin is going it will have to be taxed by the government or they simply will not allow it to go on if it continues to grow and the market cap gets larger and more and more people start using it more. I don't want this to happen nor am I trying to spread fear or claiming bitcoin will fail you just have to realize the reality of our greedy stealing government. There is no way they will let this slide if there is millions to be taxed from it each year.
