Whenever people smell bearmarket, start selling their altcoins, and that is not a good thing. But still, Altcoins are great, and useful to the market IMO.

Sure, it is much better, than just a nicely written whitepaper, with the promises. An MVP is a sign, that the team is ready to work, and put effort to the project.

While there will be people buying the coins, we have no reason to be worried. But sure, without the fear factor, and fuds, we may could avoid these big dumps, or at least some.

It kindof opened my eyes, to realize the importance of decentralization, and see a great technology behind cryptocurrencies, also a nice new way to investment.
In most cases, in the exchanges I use Bitcoin pairs, instead of Ethereum. Of course, in Idex for example it is not the case.
I would not miss cash, I am more likely a digital orientated person. But yes, cryptocurrencies would take out control of the hand of governments, which surely they would not support.

There are always great opportunities, which can show a crazy rally, even in 2018. But to be honest, it is not that easy to find those in the bear market, there are much less projects like that.

These smaller coins have more room to grow, so they can make much higher profits. But also more dangerous to invest, the chance of losing your money is significantly higher. Depends on the individuals risk tolarence, if do so.

Right now, in most of the cases, it is more profitable, as tokens go the exchanges cheaper, than what they cost during the ICO. But in a bullmarket, this statement was, and will not be true.

400 dollar is more than enough to begin trading in my view. Bounties could also be a great thing to do, in case you are not lazy to do, and of course got time for that.

It is quite easy to manipulate people unfortunately, and everybody knows that. We do not just explain price movements with the news behind, we even look for the news what could have caused, whenever some pump / dump happens.

I am not sure how much governments understand what crypto is, and so how to handle the situation. I personally do not think there is such a big war against crypto, at least not yet.
We are all different, and we all experience the risk, and volatility differently. For someone not handling stress too good, I would not recommend to enter this market, or at least do not invest too much, or wait fot the bulls

I love the technology behind, and the way it could change the world in a good way. Also a good investment option, not in this bearmarket, but all together.

Government would be able to make significant damage IMO. They can easily bann websites, we see that in many countries. But do not think this is their intention, and looking forward to see fair, and constructive regulations.

Surely it was a good idea to wait, until Bitcoin fell to 6000$. Now it is hard to tell what will happen, may would wait for the ETF decision, now that it is so close.

They are both stable, well established coins. To a beginner, would advise to start with Bitcoin, it is even easier to buy, and more mainstream as well.
It would surely mean the end of Bitcoin, as we would not be able to trade. But other negative effect would exist, so Bitcoin may wouldn't be our main concerne
