161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware Bitcoins Email Hack is going viral. on: January 21, 2019, 03:17:55 PM
Thanks for this information. I would have been a victim if I did not come across this post. I also notice that a very good number of my exchange accounts have been compromised and really do not know what is happening these days.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You've earned tons of tokens, NOW WHAT? on: December 24, 2018, 10:04:17 AM
There are two things that I normally do with my coins. First is that any coins that are already listed in exchange , I will exchange and convert to my local fiat and safe for better tomorrow. secondly the ones that are yet to be listed, those are the ones that I will hold and wait for it  to be listed and sell for my real profit.                                                                                                 z
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: December 22, 2018, 10:55:51 AM
It is better than the present uploading of documents because despite the promise of the project team that they will never harm you with your documents but who knows what they will do at last. So if video calls can be used for KYC/AML it will go along way to restore integrity on both parties. I know a lot of my friends who decline to do any bounty that required KYC and also many who have been denied their reward because they did not do KYC.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is less stable than some ALTs ! on: December 22, 2018, 10:44:17 AM
Your observation is right but that will never be accepted as the final position because the crypto market is never stable. Yes for some few weeks now XRP has overtaken ethereum but I believe it is for a brief period because the hard fork of ether that will be coming on at about early part of 2019 and this will highly impact on ether price and movement. I forsee ether overcoming the challenges XRP and regain her position.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: December 21, 2018, 08:24:23 AM
This is a good omen to the cryptocurrency exchange and management. The more exchange we have more competition among them to satisfy the customer and attract many of them to their platform. This competition will lead to less transaction fee, faster scalability and good and faster response to issues from the support team.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alibaba Uses Blockchain to Track the Goods. on: December 21, 2018, 08:18:17 AM
This is great news as blockchain to be adopted by a renowned corporate body like Alibaba. Blockchain technology is one the best invention of the twenty-first century. Initially, people thought that blockchain will only to be used for cryptocurrency but events of a few years ago have shown that blockchain can be deployed to so many aspects of human ventures which include hospital/medical management, Election management, logistics management and other things.
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have to be aware that bitcoin will not last forever on: December 20, 2018, 06:24:48 PM
Nothing last forever so it is possible that bitcoin will one day be replaced by something more suprior but for now bitcoin is still the best with the attached blockchain technology. Bitcoin has been around for ten years now and it is still waxing strong leading other altcoin both in price and volume.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe what is bitcoin for a 7 year old kid in few words on: December 20, 2018, 06:15:52 PM
Bitcoin is money but not physical money so you cannot see it. It is digital money that nobody or government controls, for this reason, it is decentralized. and bitcoin is sent from one person to another person(P2P) without any third party who like any other payment system will mediate between these two persons for a fee but it is not so with bitcoin. The  P2P transaction will go through from one person to the other person and no service charge to any third party as there is none. Bitcoin runs on an electronic ledger called blockchain where the data is stored and can be confirmed any day.

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why each and every ico is failing.??? on: November 18, 2018, 06:08:43 PM
Exactly ICO means a waste of money and time now. But the project owners are the problem why the ico are not paying investors well. Very soon it will be difficult to get investors for icos. Only the developers that can help to change the situation so the token price will be saved from dumping by the bounty hunters.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using Take-Profit Orders or Stop Loss on: November 18, 2018, 05:39:01 PM
Stop loss is a money management tool in trading. It is used to stop a running trade that has turned against the trader. If you do not use it definitely your trading capital will vanish with only one trade that has run against you. But when stop loss is used you will live to trade another day.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blochain in the medical industry?! on: November 18, 2018, 04:01:21 PM
Blockchain is making an impact in almost every aspect of human life. In last Russian general election blockchain was employed and the election was adjudged one of the best so far organized by that country. Blockchain is also making a very great impact on hospital management where the patient file management and drug dispensing it was employed.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: November 16, 2018, 12:14:53 PM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

The market situation is terribly bad and so much fund has been lost due to the price level in the market. But we are always told that you do not lose money in cryptocurrency till you sold off your coins. It is believed that the price will reverse any moment and the expected profit will emerge. So Hodl your position and sell only when you are in profit or at least broken even.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: November 16, 2018, 11:50:42 AM
Bitcoin has a limited quantity which is 21 million and out of this quantity, only 16 million is in circulation. If Bitcoin is forked a new coin will be created with its own total quantity and amount in circulation also, an example is last year when bitcoin was forked and BTG was created. BTG is a coin of its own standing and not bitcoin  (BTC). It did not add to the original quantity of bitcoin in existence rather it is a different coin.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jobless No More on: November 15, 2018, 11:13:26 AM
This is true because I am a beneficiary. I was jobless and was introduced to bitcointalk.org forum and was able to find my way around the various activities here to earn some coins. There is a lot of change in my economic wellbeing and has been in a position to help other people financially.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an example of true democracy ? on: November 15, 2018, 10:50:14 AM
Bitcoin was a concept for ordinary people to have access to funding anytime they have a need. The P2P transaction actually makes some money available for both parties which would have been used for the settlement of the third party. So saving what would have been used to pay the third party will be some kind of empowerment.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your views on cryptocurrencies on: November 13, 2018, 04:21:21 PM
The current price of cryptocurrency has been in a bearish mode for almost part of this year. This year also is like the worst in the past 3 years ago. But one thing is outstanding despite the market situation which is that bitcoin has remained above the $6k price level and has been bouncing off this price level and has never broken down the price. I believe the price will soon reverse and move up till the bulls will take over completely.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice for the new investor on: November 13, 2018, 03:38:44 PM
You can open an account with Luno .com  to receive your bitcoin and exchange same there to fiat of your choice. So the price of bitcoin, for now, is good to buy and hold. The support  at $6k level which has not been broken for sometimes is a pointer that the reversal is near so the price will soon reverse to start trending to profits.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ⚡⚡⚡ BITCOIN for Long-term investment ⚡⚡⚡ on: November 13, 2018, 03:18:30 PM
Bitcoin can be used for longterm investment for those countries that have legalized its usage. Bitcoin is fast and easy to transact with. Bitcoin runs on blockchain which makes it easier to trace and accountability possible and then fraud put to check. If bitcoin adoption continues at the rate it is going then in the near future most of the remaining countries will also legalize bitcoin.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2013 and 2018 on: November 12, 2018, 10:54:09 AM
I think the major announcement everyone is waiting for is the SEC-ETF pronouncement. This very announcement is like the key that is holding the life and death of bitcoin. Unfortunately, Sec has been postponing this announcement for the 3rd consecutive time and people are getting apprehensive and could no longer wait for the announcement.
