2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learning is earning! on: October 20, 2018, 06:08:21 AM
The biggest problem of the society is that nobody wants to learn now. A lot of young people dream about easy gains which is totally disappointing.

This is true. Younger generations tend to just ignore the importance of learning. They, or maybe I am also included, rely too much on technology. In the world of crypto you could never be successful without learning.
3  Other / Off-topic / Re: sMerit. Let's help each other. on: October 20, 2018, 05:34:38 AM
As far as I know, according to the rules of the forum it is prohibited to sell merit, or am I mistaken?
There were cases when my friends were blocked for this, but that was a long time ago, maybe something has changed.

Merit that is for sale is prohibited and might result to banning of accounts. But there are still cases of these things we just dont know.

5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: October 20, 2018, 05:17:07 AM
Yes indeed trading is a difficult thing to do. I am an into trading because I dont have much time monitoring my coins but I can just hold it now and check if I make profit.

7  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your favorite manga? on: April 26, 2018, 06:44:04 AM
I love to read the "The Gamer". The character has amazing powers like if he study a skill he would immediately learn it.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: JR member on: April 26, 2018, 06:36:35 AM
I want to be a JR member? How i do it?

For us to rank up to Junior Member, we have to consider

Rank   Required activity   Required merit

Jr Member         30                             0

To calculate activities:

activity = min(time * 14, posts). This means you have 14 posts counted per 2 weeks.

9  Other / Beginners & Help / NEWBIE TUTORIAL: STAKES | How many coins do I have? on: April 26, 2018, 06:19:49 AM
Hola! Buenas tardes mi amigo y amiga. I know this kind of topic has already been posted repeatedly. I am just concerned with the newbies and non-newbies who still do not know about stakes so I hope you can read this.

Calculating the total number of your coins given that you have stakes earned.

   1. Bounty allocation (in terms of $ or coins)
   2. Campaign allocation (in %)
   3. Total number of stakes earned by all participants
   4. Total number of participants

Then input data to this formula,

11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is Copper Member Rank? How can I be Copper Member? on: April 18, 2018, 12:47:19 PM
What is the actual mean by Copper member tag? How can be A Copper Member. Though my rank is full member but now I want to be aa Copper member. Please if you know about it then help me out.
Thanks.

I think it is some king of organization and has nothing to do with bitcointalk rankings. But I am not really sure though.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk account profile URL/link. on: April 18, 2018, 12:39:42 PM
You donīt need to do any of that. Just click on your name in any post you made and you have your Profile URL.

I never knew it, not until now. Thank you mister.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a whitelist ? on: April 17, 2018, 10:25:18 AM
Hello,

Many project spoke about whitelist. What is it?

Thanks for your answer !

Whitelist is a pre-registration for those who want to contribute in an ICO in exchange for rewards - tokens.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why should we rank? on: April 17, 2018, 09:23:04 AM
I dont know why we need to rank. Please someone answer this question.

What are the benefits of having a rank?

We need to rank up to avail of better opportunities to earn more bucks especially when you are doing a signature campaigns. And there are campaigns which requires a higher-ranking member of this forum in order to participate because based on the rankings one can tell that he/she has already a considerable experience and fit to the job. So I think that is why.
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What does FUD mean? on: April 17, 2018, 09:13:42 AM
I do not really understand what FUD means? Who can explain? Tks

This means an upcoming red tide for the market. You will notice that most coins will experience a dramatic price drop.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcointalk account profile URL/link. on: April 17, 2018, 09:04:22 AM
When joining bounty campaigns or airdrops, we are sometimes asked to give the bitcointalk profile URL. But what if you have given a wrong URL and in the end your hard-earned tokens/coins was denied after so much effort to just meet the terms and conditions of the campaign. Would't it be a waste of time?

For certified beginners who does not know how to get you bitcointalk account profile URL, here is the steps:

1. Login to your bitcointalk account. You will encounter this right?

HOME  HELP  SEARCH  DONATE  PROFILE  MY MESSAGES  MEMBERS  LOGOUT

2. Choose PROFILE.

3. After clicking on profile you will see this options:

Profile Info

Summary
Show Stats
Show Posts

Modify Profile

Account Related Settings
Forum Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options
Ignore user options
Ignore Boards Preferences

4. Choose to CLICK ANY of the above options.

For example, Forum Profile Information.

5. After the step (4) you will finally see your account profile URL like this for example.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1920190;sa=forumProfile

6. BUT!!!! You are not finished yet because you will have to omit something in the link. In the above example, you should not include the ";sa=forumProfile".

7. After doing so, you will be left out with the BITCOINTALK ACCOUNT PROFILE URL.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1920190

8. In fact, if you click it you will see the basic information of the one who owns the account. Some information includes:

Posts

Activity

Merit
     etc.

This is what bounty managers look for especially if you are joining signature campaigns where your posts needs to be counted for corresponding rewards. So I hope this helps the true beginners who does not want to make their efforts be wasted just because of this issue. If this post is kinda posted already before, you can just delete it I am fine with that. This information was just taught by my elder and I wanna share it to my co-beginners.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I report on: April 16, 2018, 12:17:19 PM
How can I report my work. After posting

If you joined in a social media campaign like facebook or twitter assuming that you already have done what has been asked by the manager just copy the URL of your post/repost then paste it in the bounty thread to where you have joined into. Organize your work and observe deadlines of submission.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the link to my profile? on: April 16, 2018, 06:03:48 AM
Because I've been filling out a lot of airdrops with the following link:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile

And like a dummy I didn't realize there isn't really anything that ties it to me - but when I go to Profile - there is the URL at the top?

So did I just waste a bunch of time by signing up for all these airdrops with the wrong user profile link?!

Just follow this step:

1. Click PROFILE.

2. Under Modify Profile, click Forum Profile Information.

3. Copy the URL above. For instance,

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1920190;sa=forumProfile

4. Delete ";sa=forumProfile"

5. The remaining link for example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1920190 will be your bitcointalk profile link/url. That is the one asked by the forms in a campaign.

https://help.medium.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000646167
