When joining bounty campaigns or airdrops, we are sometimes asked to give the bitcointalk profile URL. But what if you have given a wrong URL and in the end your hard-earned tokens/coins was denied after so much effort to just meet the terms and conditions of the campaign. Would't it be a waste of time?

For certified beginners who does not know how to get you bitcointalk account profile URL, here is the steps:

1. Login to your bitcointalk account. You will encounter this right?

HOME  HELP  SEARCH  DONATE  PROFILE  MY MESSAGES  MEMBERS  LOGOUT

2. Choose PROFILE.

3. After clicking on profile you will see this options:

Profile Info

Summary
Show Stats
Show Posts

Modify Profile

Account Related Settings
Forum Profile Information
Look and Layout Preferences
Notifications and Email
Personal Message Options
Ignore user options
Ignore Boards Preferences

4. Choose to CLICK ANY of the above options.

For example, Forum Profile Information.

5. After the step (4) you will finally see your account profile URL like this for example.

6. BUT!!!! You are not finished yet because you will have to omit something in the link. In the above example, you should not include the ";sa=forumProfile".

7. After doing so, you will be left out with the BITCOINTALK ACCOUNT PROFILE URL.

8. In fact, if you click it you will see the basic information of the one who owns the account. Some information includes:

Posts

Activity

Merit      etc.

This is what bounty managers look for especially if you are joining signature campaigns where your posts needs to be counted for corresponding rewards. So I hope this helps the true beginners who does not want to make their efforts be wasted just because of this issue. If this post is kinda posted already before, you can just delete it I am fine with that. This information was just taught by my elder and I wanna share it to my co-beginners.

Instead of clicking on it. Just right-click on it and click copy link address. You can then post it anywhere. No need to follow the complex procedure mate.

Anyone can go through the meta section to find such details with simplest possible way.

Your bounty will be paid to the ETH address you provided and it has nothing to do with the bitcointalk id you entered. Most bounty managers have a rule that once an ETH address has been submitted you can t change it later to prevent scammers from doing just that. But if you notice a mistake with your other details you can just contact the manager to correct it.
And always double check in the spreadsheet that you are included/approved for the tasks you applied for so that in case you weren't you are aware of that.

This is not helpful for the users that has been here for some time and doing bounties already but for the new comers who are still lurking and reading every thread then definitely this is helpful especially if they are trying to apply for a bounty campaign. This is one of the requirement in joining bounty campaign which you need to fill to continue the bounty program application.

Sorry, but if you can't find your profile ID/link, you're either new to the internet - in which case i am really curious how you are ever able to say something meaningful in order to promote said bounty campaign, OR, you must be borderline retarded.

The OP tried to detail things which does matter, but they either complicated them into a very big matter instead of going simple over it (the simplest way was mentioned by bitmover in 2nd comment of this thread). If any new user doesn't know about this, then that's understandable (still it's bit stupid as many forums have the same style of right-clicking over the username and copying the link), but for those who've had been here for a while, I am shocked to think what had they been doing here - just trying to make money without any efforts, without doing anything, without knowing anything?

There is another way that is much faster than this method go to any post you made and "CLICK YOUR NAME/USERNAME" where the next step you made is copying the Profile link/url in the address bar and save it somwhere. The method that is much faster than clicking your name/username is the same as the first step which is going to the post you made and then "RIGHT CLICK" (computer) or "TAP" your username/name for a period time ( Mobile Devices) until there's a pop-up showing then press the Copy Link Url or Copy Link and paste it wherever you like then you have your bitcointalk profile URL which is ready to paste at anytime you want and at the same time without going to your profile page or another page.
