I have so many ideas...  Likewise, I feel like listing many things... here's one more: A 'dig-dug' clone where instead of searching for diamonds/rubies, etc you pay a certain amount to play and then search for bitcoins which you can then actually withdraw. Haha, very good! Was a great idea too!  |

Congratulations for the initiative! Very interesting! Have you thought about creating a game like simcity? Where you out instead of building houses, you could create structures for mining and ore could turn bitcoin. Or a game like tibia, where the currency could be bitcoins. I have so many ideas... Peço desculpas pela demora em responder a todos, esta semana consegui outro emprego, agora tenho dois... Está uma verdadeira batalha andar ~25Km por dia em São Paulo... Sem contar as mil tarefas na fila e trabalhos voluntários que eu faço (Projeto Venus) e os estudos sobre o novo mundo chamado Bitcoin...
Bom, eu demorei um tanto também por conta de ficar procurando que nem um doido aonde configurar isso no forum e, descobri que não tenho permissão para tal... Preciso, como moderador, pedir ao theymos para que ele crie o que precisarmos.
Bom, só para fechar, vou pedir para que ele crie os seguintes sub-forums:
Economia, Mercado, Garimpo, Suporte e Desenvolvimento.
Todos de acordo?!
Com o passar do tempo, vamos elaborando melhor ou, criando tópicos estáticos nos respectivos sub-forums com as explicações mais elaboradas para quem desejar se aprofundar no assunto.
Por exemplo, o que eu sugeri para o sub-forum de "Mercado de Bitcoins" como sendo algo do tipo:
3.1- Bens e Serviços
3.2- Casas de Câmbio
3.3- "Banco" de Bitcoins
...Poderá se transformar em 3 tópicos estáticos dentro do único sub-forum "Mercado"...

My video driver always stops working when I try to raise the core 865+, with 320mhz memory (fan manual 60%), with stock voltage, on 5850 shappire extreme and xfx.
Anyone have the same problem?

I had the same problem. Updated the driver, and I set the fan speed in manual 55%. After 3 days of stability, I started overclocking and overvolting. |

Hey y'all (directed at miner coders, but anyone can answer) is there a way to either currently or in a future patch run miners in "stealth" mode? like in Windows have an option where, for instance, guiminer might have a mode after configuring it that it's hidden and only shows up in Task Manager (either as it's exe name, or even a configurable process name)?
same question for linux.. maybe able to set up and then run on startup in the background? Note I'm not very good in linux CLI, but given instructions I could follow them if this is already possible (like maybe a cron job or something)
I'm also interested in this concept. +1 Could stop criticizing and trying to give an intelligent response. |

You should stop saying "what happened with mybitcoin" because in all honesty YOU DON'T KNOW! All we can do is throw around suspicions. All we have is the dude saying that someone faked transactions with their shopping cart interface, but i bet he would prefer to say that if he wanted to run away with the coins. Even if that was what happened, i bet the error was with mybitcoin and had nothing to do with the blockchain. If you account for some informer that dropped by #bitcoin-police, it was because of a bug mybitcoin had in their code that wasn't calculating stuff right. Like i said, all suppositions, no answers! I agree, are just suppositions. He could have simply stolen the coins, and invented this story. |

The algorithm to create bitcoins gets increasingly more difficult over a specified time period. A billionaire buying all the bitcoins would not affect the creation of new bitcoins at all. Of course what would happen is that the price of bitcoins would rocket as the billionaire started buying up bitcoins - so it would cost much more than the apparently total cost of all bitcoins currently in circulation. Exactly. So we all know that the network can suffer high consequences if someone has more than 50% of the same. |
